What are some compact parts kit PCC/Subgun parts kits I can modernize? I want to make an abomination similar to the above VZ61 but in 9mm. Considering a Sterling pistol or a Tec if I can find one. Have plenty of 3D printing and tools for building.
>Break in?
Most people follow the HK break in instructions for it. Full disassemble, clean, and lube. HK has you do this as the SP5/MP5 comes from the factory in preservative not lube oil. MKE being a state arsenal might be doing the same thing so doesn't hurt to do it. After that the first 500 rounds should be 9mm NATO/ 9mm +P. >Parts that should be replaced?
Extractor spring. The extractor spring is the main issue in MP5s and clones. When you buy a HK brand extractor spring for it pick up some spares. Other than that depends if you come across any other function issues.
Just to give you a heads up if you start getting other trigger housings you might need to mod them a little bit to fit on the AP5. It comes to the little denial block on the back of the mag well. You might need to file the hole in the front of the trigger housing a little bit bigger to get it to seat/fit right.
Ejection lever is probably the only replacement maybe worth doing preventatively, the major thing to watch out for with AP5s is bolt gap shrinkage during break in, QC isnt perfect on them by any means and if your barrel for instance isn't pressed in at the exact right depth it can cause excess bolt gap. Had to swap mine to +6s after break in to get it back to middle of spec which is definitely less than ideal. In general with MP5s its smart to keep extra extractor springs on hand, even a single bad FTE can require replacing them. I'd order some extra extractor springs JIC(youll need them eventually), run the break in, then check bolt gap and ejection lever wear.
If you are putting body armor on it isnt for grandmas with .380s neither was he lol >What I am worried about is repeated hits to that area with .308 ammunition
Luv me AP5P but I stil want something more modern, so I ordered the PMX. Arrives Tuesday.
Fricking based anon, it’s such a sexy gun and I bet it’s really smooth. What are your plans for it?
Oh I see you have the actual PMX irons on it. Are you Italian or did you order from that one site? I got the stock and vfg from there but was hoping I could score the irons from beretta USA website when they get in stock.
They’re LPA sights, just like the ARX100 “proper” sights. Any retailer that sells LPA sights probably carries them. I got mine from:

It’s super smooth. I have a factory folding stock for it. A couple dozen were sold on gunbroker last year for about $150 each. Just waiting on form 1. The pic is old and I have a trilug adapter and a B&T SQD full length for it. Expensive for a blowback pcc, but I’m fairly certain they’re going to be a limited release so I dont mind paying the premium.
I got mine for $936 and there is $150 rebate on top of that. Stock and VFG ordered from Italy arriving tomorrow. Will probably order like 5 more mags and the irons.

In case they’re out of stock with Beretta. These are the proper sights. A little expensive but beautifully machined out of steel and super tough. LPA is an OE supplier to Beretta and Benelli among others.
It's an original stock, was still new in the plastic when I got it.
Easiest way to tell the fakes versus an original is the fake stocks are a two piece design that use pop rivets to keep it together.
Anybody know of another vz.61 optic mount besides this and the Isle plastic one? Ideally want to mount to the snout of the receiver like this rather than the barrel or rear.
So far this is the only aluminum one I know of, but I don't like how the back flaps in the wind.
Burt! Hey, I'm torn between a PDW, and a Stribog 10mm A3. Already owned an SP89, so I have some experience with it. Have Sico 45k for whatever I chose. Any suggestions? I am not a kook.

If you can't afford it, you shouldn't be trying to buy a gun that you're going to magdump 30 rounds at a time that's chambered in an expensive round like 10mm.

You should know that Burt has a heretical bias against 10mm, and if you mention it when he hasn't had his heart meds and an energy drink you may send him into a high medical risk emotional state.
Of course, he has no 10mm of his own so his bias against it is amusing in light of how keen he is to (rightfully) call out others for having shit opinions on things they have no personal experience with.
This post convinced me that 10mm is not good but in fact very bad.

10mm is fine in a carry pistol, but fricking dogshit in a PCC. The entire point of the roubd is to be a compromise between 9mm and .45ACP. If you're going to be carrying around a gun the size of a rifle, why the hell wouldn't you just get a .45 instead of gimping yourself for no reason?

Uh what? 10mm is ballistically superior to 45 in every way. The only conceivable benefit 45 might have is being able to load a slightly heavier maximum bullet weight for suppressed subsonic use.
Notice how you never see MSD, and Burt at the same time? Its pretty funny how in the US, a semi-automatic PCC is considered too low powered. Or a revolver is inadequate for SD. The real hilarious part is these creatures have little to zero firearms training. OIAL!

Youre a noguns Subject of a failed state rage poasting on k. I know you are really pissed rn. Trust me, its the path to healing. Just make the most of what you have. Im rooting for you.
I felt the same way at first, but eventually decided to go with a KAC rail since I was lucky and got it for only $350 and I really love the setup.
With how the prices of SP5's have come down lately, I'm considering picking one up and putting some of my other furniture on there for it to live.
bad purchase, yet enjoyable.
Why bad? Gun costs around 1200usd here, then you pay another 1200 to swap half of the parts, just like ar15. Still would bought it again, very fun to shoot.
>Why are 10mm options so few and far between? >Why are .41AE options so few and far between? >Why are HDDVD options so few and far between? >Why are Betamax options so few and far between?
Well there's the Glock 20 with a B&T chassis like you pictured, B&T APC10, CMMG Banshee, Dakota Tactical D54, TNW Aero, Stribog SP10, and of course highpoint's derpy carbine.
The Glock isn't a bad choice since you can get a 9" barrel from wolf, and launch 10mm penetrators fast enough to punch through armor. That might actually be my next build tbh
Would be nice if CMMG made something for 10mm with their Dissent line.
Because 10mm is only now coming into its true mainstream renaissance after years and years of people sleeping on this excellent cartridge. Now that people are finally letting shit memes like .40S&W and .357 Sig die, we're approaching the golden age of 9mm and 10mm being the two true and based options for pistol cartridges. Selection of 10mm firearms is better now than it has ever been, and steadily improving. Ammo price has hit parity with 45 where it will likely stay.
In a PCC though, when you have a longer barrel and a 30 round mag, the benefits of 10mm aren't as dramatic. You're really edging into territory where it's hard to argue a 300blk gun isn't just a better choice. There will always be more 9mm PCC options than 10mm.
I don't like the BWC or bullshit that cover the pistol slide with a big rail. The reason is I would prefer to use my pistol sight, vs something that will lose zero every time you add or remove the brace.
The 20/20 has a nice open top and basically fits anything with a front rail. I'm going to 3d print my own version.
i built this CMMG RDB-based AR9 a couple months ago and it's a tremendous amount of fun to shoot, sounds great suppressed. Ran into a bit of an issue though - the gun runs incredibly dirty because i definitely do not have a low backpressure can on, although it is overbore. Didn't run into any functional issues other than some sluggishness at 500-600 rounds without cleaning, figured I could tune it away via buffer weights.
The problem arose when I swapped the trigger out - cmmg specifically does not recommend using an AR9 trigger, the bolt carrier is shaped very similarly to a stock AR15 carrier and apparently the delay mechanism means you aren't fricking up the trigger with blowback like a regular AR9. I started out with a Schmidt 2-stage trigger, was actually pretty happy with it but it was a little heavier than I like for a range toy, so I swapped it with a Rise RA-140. It made it through maybe 4-5 full mags before starting to exhibit weird trigger behavior occasionally, after probably 300rds total it turned into a mildly spooky single shot that would fail to reset the trigger briefly, then eventually the trigger would pop out on its own. The round that had chambered would come out with a firing pin indent, which kinda has me concerned about hammer follow.
Does anyone have experience with this platform using this trigger, or should I just be avoiding cassette triggers entirely for this sort of meme?
out of those three i would get the stribog. you should consider getting a GHM9, you can get the glock mag version for 1199 and it will absolutely be a better shooter than any of those three.
another option is getting a used p320 and putting it in a flux raider chassis
A moron can't afford a better gun is what you mean. Don't get me wrong I think the prices on USPs and Mark 23s are insane and are only for collectors. But I still prefer a V-Line or a Staccato.
If you’re gonna mount an optic to something like the FPC, are there any standout choices? I figured some high-powered thing would be wasted on something so small
Eurogay here, asking out of curiosity - can you buy a HK FA trigger pack in the U.S. unregulated in the same way you can buy FA LPKs for ARs? Is it one of those things where you can own these things but it becomes illegal once put together? Is it constructive intent? Are there differences between models that prevent you from doing this or it simply a drop in?
Yes. No. No, there's no such thing that's a boogie man tale. ATF doesn't care about rules, they'll prosecute for whatever reason they decide, which they do arbitrarily, with or without evidence or precedent. No, but they don't drop in to most guns because most are modified with a shelf in place of the front pin in order to block install. Carriers and receivers are also altered to prevent interaction with the auto sear before they are allowed for sale in the US.
Considering picking up a B&T APC9 SD, any reasons not to? Basically in my state I would have to pin-and-weld a suppressor on a short-barrel PCC anyway so I figure why not just get the whole package?
Nta, for reasons I don't know HK put a rectangular hole in the front of the trigger housing as part of the oem design. MKE welds a 1/8th x 1/8th 'ish bar on the back of the mag well that fits through the hole and blocks a full auto trigger pack.
I have a kp9 and it's fricking dogshit, I mean it's more reliable than my mp5 but the build quality is fricking utter shit, the brace is now loose and wiggles like a b***h now too.
Anon Iv'e had this for five years and shot the piss out of it. Two of those extractors were the original "coppers", which are a known wear part. If you can't swap an MP5 extractor after 3-5k rounds, or better yet to switch to a steel one and get even longer use, then maybe it's time for a different hobby, you dig?
It's time for a different gun, you fricking idiot
Why don't you buy a gun that doesn't kill itself like a troon every two years

I own a can and I can understand keeping a brace if it works and you live in a smaller state and don't want to have to tell the fedjannies every time you go over a border. Really its the people too scared to get a can that I don't get.
I'm seriously thinking about getting a Chiappa M1-9 >reviews from 6+ years ago say they're shit >newer reviews say they've worked the kinks out >always liked M1 carbines but never owned/fired one >don't currently own any 9mm guns but have a relative who reloads 9mm >don't want to invest in niche 30 carbine >eventually I want to get a 92 of some sort, and they could share mags
I agree, but if he's dead set on 9mm there's a decent bit of parts interchangeability so he can make the Chiappa less shitty. And I'd run it with Beretta OEM mags. But by the time you invest the money, there's a lot of options available now.
I have 2 (TWO) AP5s from MKE and they are a joy to shoot and they cycle everything with no issue and they are accurate as all giddup and I love shooting them.
1943 manufacture, drum mags required substantial grinding (about 1 mm) to fit the magwell but run reliably and contrary to claims on the internet they're actually quicker and easier to fill than banana mags. The gun is crude as frick, the safety useless and trigger bad, but it shoots far better than it deserves. My favorite open bolt gun to shoot.

Looks rad but how does it mount at the front? It looks like it doesn't use the handguard pin or the handguard lip on the receiver. Is the whole thing just held by the 4 optic mount screws? So when you clamp up on a VFG you're stressing those screws?
It doesn't use the handguard pin nor the lip (which I thought it would, pretty weird!), and it's just held together with 4 side-locking lug inserts and the screws. Haven't heard of anyone breaking these yet though.
Hm so that stops it bending down I guess. Anything stop it bending up? What if I slam the handguard down hard on a barrier to shoot over it? Seems like that might even tweak the whole thing and shift the optic's zero
I mean if you want the full package you can buy it directly from M*Carbo and skip any and all of the horse shit involved with installing parts yourself.
https://www.mcarbo.com/kel-tec-sub-2000-gen-2-9mm-for-sale.aspx
As for the upgrades:
Trigger kit- noice
Feed ramp- unnecessary but might help you sleep better at night if the plastic one scares you. Mine has had no issues and I shoot this guy a lot
Trigger guard- who cares?
Recoil buffer- skip it will make your reloads more difficult than they already are
Extended mag release- only child fingers need apply
Optics mount- objectively the best on the market
Muzzle break- noice but unnecessary
Cool rundown. How many rounds do you have on yours? What's the service life for a typical S2K? It would suck to replace a bunch of parts and then shoot it out. Although if you can afford that much ammo, you can afford another S2K.
I'm probably 4k in by this point and I have no idea what their service life in, tbh I dont see anyone else actually using/training with it as a serious defensive tool so I walk the path alone as far as I know. Most people I see basically just say "it fits in a bag" and leave it at that
now that the pistol brace thing is enjoined (injunction-ified) I'm gonna reprint my Macdaddy to put on a brace. for how much effort it was, it's surprisingly nice.
Im guessing printing feels as euphoric as reloading in terms of savings. Im a snob for firearms build and quality of materials but if I wasnt I'd probably 3D print a lot of stuff.
>in terms of savings.
I got a parts kit for 300 bucks (also had all the AR bits I needed and a couple of mags) and it was like, $12 in printing material between the first failed print and the actually usable one. It's pretty neat and I find it far FAR less frustrating than machining, because one mistake doesn't send a 40-200 dollar workpiece to the fricking shadow realm.
I really like it and there is a lot to enjoy about it. My wife goes nuts for me designing and printing shit for the house. I don't really get it, but it gets her really worked up.
A 9mm AR or equivalent gun in a short barrel configuration will poke proper holes in most attackers whilst reducing pressure waves that damage hearing.
G19 & G17 sorry. Ideally it's small enough to be seen over the slide-mounted 509T, but also rifle rated so I can thread it onto a surefire HUB adapter and shoot it on my 16" in a pinch (already have dedicated rifle cans so this is tertiary)
Form 1 has been approved for about a month, but I just finally got the fricker engraved today and put on the barrel. It was much harder than it should of been by virtue of me being moronic.
Are stribogs any good now? I remember almost buying one a couple years ago but then read about all the magazine issues they had so just went with a cz scorpion instead
Curved mag and Glock mag a1s are fine, curved mag and Glock mag a3s should still probably run one of those buffer block things that prevent those 1/10000 bizarro brass over bolt malfs where the brass ends up in the FCU. They're notably better and complaints have tapered off to the level typical of euro designed modern SMGs, none of them are designed with feeding JHPs in mind from the ground up so not all examples will play nice with all JHP types. True of H&K, B&T, or grand power.
>im looking for something similar for an uzi.
it probably doesn't exist. airsoft uzi aftermarket parts are probably in higher demand than real steel parts.
You would think, but the length of an AR15 trips some of them up and the flash/noise gets them bad. Shorter overall length of the CX4 I think would help them quite a bit and the relatively less flash and noise is a bonus.
>a woman is going to be able to shoot an AR just as well as a PCC
Nominally true, but my gf (like most women) is propagandized to view my AR as scary and dangerous, so she refuses to shoot it. However she has no issue with my Ruger PC Carbine
Why does the high end of this market suck so fricking bad. All I want is a fricking TP9 that I can stick my own suppressor on but B&T cucked it all up and HK will never give us what we want. My only options for something super compact are an MP5K.

Same. Those modernized kits always get me. The only thing stopping me is how well .380 suppresses/cycles while suppressed.
What are some compact parts kit PCC/Subgun parts kits I can modernize? I want to make an abomination similar to the above VZ61 but in 9mm. Considering a Sterling pistol or a Tec if I can find one. Have plenty of 3D printing and tools for building.
The jection lever is a common upgrade. HK revised the desgin but the turks have the older tooling. Older one can cause extraction issues sometimes.
https://hkparts.net/rifle-smg-parts/h-k-9mm-ejector-lever-3rd-gen/

>I got the level IIa because it stops the most rounds. plus I got the Trauma Plate for the front.
Cope
hes right tho, IIa stops basically every pedestrian gun.
If you are putting body armor on it isnt for grandmas with .380s neither was he lol
>What I am worried about is repeated hits to that area with .308 ammunition
>One poster responded, ‘If Plan A is to take multiple .338 shots to the back, youreallyneed to come up with a Plan B.”
lmao
You dont EDC armor bruh
>9mm is cool but I want variety.
Get a 357
>You dont EDC armor
why is EDCing armor weird but EDCing a gun is considered mandatory?
I dont edc shit but my phone and the hands
Cause carrying a little gun in your waistband is normal and wearing fricking body armor every day on the off chance somebidy shoots you is psychotic
>reads Gecko45 posts
>is inspired and wants to emulate him
Jesus
Modern IIA armor is basically just like wearing an extra thick sweater. If I lived in a place that got cold I would consider it.
you're right, its for muggers with tula 115gr 9mm
>real Special Forces types don’t brag
SEALs in absolute shambles.
Maybe they’ll write a book about it.
>Gecko45 mentioned
blessed thread. Gecko45 is a hero. I served with him on 4 tours, you kids dont even know what it takes to defend this country
best 800$ of my life right here
Wtf is that wallpaper lol
The classic wallpaper ive always had
And I thought I did pretty good for my full setup plus 6 mags for $3k.
$800 is highway robbery.
Is that a repurposed airsoft stock or an original stock?
Here’s my current spaghetti blaster. Still waiting on my form 1.
I got mine from:
https://fusionfirearms.com/sights
It’s super smooth. I have a factory folding stock for it. A couple dozen were sold on gunbroker last year for about $150 each. Just waiting on form 1. The pic is old and I have a trilug adapter and a B&T SQD full length for it. Expensive for a blowback pcc, but I’m fairly certain they’re going to be a limited release so I dont mind paying the premium.
I got mine for $936 and there is $150 rebate on top of that. Stock and VFG ordered from Italy arriving tomorrow. Will probably order like 5 more mags and the irons.
https://fusionfirearms.com/tactical-front-adjustable-picatinny-target-sight
https://fusionfirearms.com/tactical-rear-ghost-ring-adjustable-picatinny-rail-sight
I for sure thought you were going to say your most recent hrt cycle was the best $800 you ever spent.
I should shoot my PPS43 more
Anybody know of another vz.61 optic mount besides this and the Isle plastic one? Ideally want to mount to the snout of the receiver like this rather than the barrel or rear.
So far this is the only aluminum one I know of, but I don't like how the back flaps in the wind.
Just tested my AP5, first shot failed to fire, but then it went through 100 rounds with no issue
What ammo?
blazer 124 gr
Works on my machine.
I mean after that initial fail to fire, I didn't have any problems with the ammo. I didn't clean the gun before I went to the range though.
Is a Mauser C96 a pistol caliber carbine?
It was classified as such when i used it in a match, so yeah.
how much did your c96 cost? lol
Mine was like 1200, but I had to replace every single leaf spring and have the barrel worked on because the chamber was all blown out.
still, that's very nice
$5k.
I hate the magpul handguard and plan to replace it
Replace that ugly ass sling and moronic looking pistol brace while you're at it
i kind of want to keep it classic but i have the urge to put kac rails on it and a red dot :/
You've already spoiled it a little with the Magpul selector you might as well
thats the factory selector you dumb homosexual. does the selector on mine and this look the same?
don't even talk to me like that again you little fricking maggot.
It does at a glance yeah, relax
Burt! Hey, I'm torn between a PDW, and a Stribog 10mm A3. Already owned an SP89, so I have some experience with it. Have Sico 45k for whatever I chose. Any suggestions? I am not a kook.
>want 10mm
>I am not a kook.
Doesn't add up lol
I have no experience with Stribogs or 10mm PDWs sorry dude. Just follow your heart
>10mm PCC's are such a pointless niche that even Burt won't buy them
Top kek
10mm BTFO
>lol
Eww,
>no experience
Why dont you buy a 10mm bog and find out? You have every other firearm ever made. It would help me out, and you dont seem too busy.
>follow your heart.
Can not afford a 10mm HK PDW rn.
If you can't afford it, you shouldn't be trying to buy a gun that you're going to magdump 30 rounds at a time that's chambered in an expensive round like 10mm.
10mm is 40 CPR. I dont mag dump any firearm. How old are you? A US citizen? Do you own guns? Do you even shoot? Pathetic.
Nta but you sound poor
Bog 10MM it is! You may go.
VNR
Why so salty? Did I touch a nerve when I said broke Black folk shouldn't waste their money on frivolous shit?
You should know that Burt has a heretical bias against 10mm, and if you mention it when he hasn't had his heart meds and an energy drink you may send him into a high medical risk emotional state.
Of course, he has no 10mm of his own so his bias against it is amusing in light of how keen he is to (rightfully) call out others for having shit opinions on things they have no personal experience with.
You talk like a gay and your shit's all moronic
>You talk like a gay
so?
>your shit's all moronic
and?
This post convinced me that 10mm is not good but in fact very bad.
10mm is fine in a carry pistol, but fricking dogshit in a PCC. The entire point of the roubd is to be a compromise between 9mm and .45ACP. If you're going to be carrying around a gun the size of a rifle, why the hell wouldn't you just get a .45 instead of gimping yourself for no reason?
PCCs are a meme, so it doesn't really matter what caliber they're in, but I do think if youre gonna get a 10mm PCC you should probably just get a 300bll instead.
What round do you believe performs better out of an 8"-10" barrel than 10mm?
>Inb4 5.56
>What round do you believe performs better out of an 8"-10" barrel than 10mm?
9mm
.45
.38/.357
.44 Magnum
.40 S&W
.45 Long Colt
7.62x39
7.62x25
7.63x25
5.56
.300 Blackout
.30 Carbine
12 gauge
NERF darts
Spuds
>entire point of the roubd is to be a compromise between 9mm and .45ACP.
OIAL!
>Notice how you never see MSD, and Burt at the same time?
Oh frick yeah new lore drop.
You have no guns, so how would you know anything about them?
OIAL (again)!
Post yours, sweet pea.
VNR
The onus is on you moron, you’ve been called out, either b***h out like the little homosexual you are or post something we can make fun of you over.
>seething, impotent, underage, no nothing, no gunz shitting up yet another thread.
I smell the stench of a denizen of a failed state.

No. If you post yours first - and ask nicely. Then, maybe.
VNR
Get fricked Eurotroony, enjoy being a serf like the good little b***h you are.
Ah, now cometh the projection. Nailed it. No wonder you're so angry. I don't want to upset you any further, but a break thru might be beneficial to you. i mean how much further can you slide? Youre a noguns Subject of a failed state rage poasting on k. Here are some other things you will never experience;
>SYG
>Constitutional carry
>HP bullets
>Any firearm that isn't NFA can be bought privately.
> A BWC so beautiful that women want to put in their mouths' as soon as they see it
>Animals that can kill/eat you chilling on the side of the road.
I know you are really pissed rn. Trust me, its the path to healing. Just make the most of what you have. Im rooting for you.
Just know the KAC rail is a pain in the dick to put on and take off, it scrapes off finish every time.
I felt the same way at first, but eventually decided to go with a KAC rail since I was lucky and got it for only $350 and I really love the setup.
With how the prices of SP5's have come down lately, I'm considering picking one up and putting some of my other furniture on there for it to live.
Don't you dare
Get the UTG monolithic hand guard.
I like my KR-9
based
>pays $100 for ultimak mount
>doesn't mount anything on it
>doesn't even put any rail covers on it
waiting on a can then imma set up a light
I like PCCs
You like POCs
bad purchase, yet enjoyable.
Why bad? Gun costs around 1200usd here, then you pay another 1200 to swap half of the parts, just like ar15. Still would bought it again, very fun to shoot.
Seems like a lot of gun for a 3" barrel.
American steel
is that why it looks like raw dogshit?
Because its a mac 11
Wut
why are mp5s so unreliable?
I've got like 10 PCC's I need to sbr.
I need to SBR my PM63 also, but Pioneer can go frick themselves for making it such a chore to actually SBR these things.
Wy are 10mm options so few and far between?
Because 9mm is based and much cheaper to shoot
.40S&W won
You know why
I don't.
Gay.
9mm is cool but I want variety.
>Why are 10mm options so few and far between?
>Why are .41AE options so few and far between?
>Why are HDDVD options so few and far between?
>Why are Betamax options so few and far between?
Because hi point already made the be all end all 10mm carbine
Well there's the Glock 20 with a B&T chassis like you pictured, B&T APC10, CMMG Banshee, Dakota Tactical D54, TNW Aero, Stribog SP10, and of course highpoint's derpy carbine.
The Glock isn't a bad choice since you can get a 9" barrel from wolf, and launch 10mm penetrators fast enough to punch through armor. That might actually be my next build tbh
Would be nice if CMMG made something for 10mm with their Dissent line.
Frick yea 10mm thread
>CMMG made something for 10mm
Gib longer barrel 10mm so i can carry one caliber pls. Still waiting..
I got a rugged obsidian 9 and it's still in backordered status.... should I get a trilug adapter for it for an AP5 or just direct mount it?
Anyone????
I did the tri-lug on my obsidian 9. Totally worth it for my PTR. I intend to sbr it at some point so it can look like a mp5sd.
how's that Tec-22 shoot? I've been eyeballing one for a while to go with my 10/22
>waste money buying an MP5
>put the ugliest stock in existence on it
JUST
I don't like the BWC or bullshit that cover the pistol slide with a big rail. The reason is I would prefer to use my pistol sight, vs something that will lose zero every time you add or remove the brace.
The 20/20 has a nice open top and basically fits anything with a front rail. I'm going to 3d print my own version.
I have a 20/20, it's really nice, holds zero (for now)
Forgot to mention that I did get the optic rail add on for it
Thank you for the feedback. I have a red dot on my pistol so I would prefer to use the one already mounted.
i built this CMMG RDB-based AR9 a couple months ago and it's a tremendous amount of fun to shoot, sounds great suppressed.
Need something to go with my full size MP5 and I don't like ARs. Which do I get?
>stribog A3
>kp9
>pmx
Why would you want another, shittier full-sized PCC?
My kp9 is more reliable than my mp5
Fun
out of those three i would get the stribog. you should consider getting a GHM9, you can get the glock mag version for 1199 and it will absolutely be a better shooter than any of those three.
another option is getting a used p320 and putting it in a flux raider chassis
>$700 for plastic built with 3d printed plastic
I want one but I'm not paying that moronic mark-up out of principle. I'll wait for TEMU to pirate it.
The Stribog A3 is not only the easily the best out of those, including the MP5.
my benis is more reliable than my buttgina
Love the MP5.
my kp9's brace is starting to wobble, how annoying.
The most fun you can have with a P320
those things are impossible to buy since they're always out of stock. I just settled with a recover tactical 20/20 kit for my glock 19
You can have more fun with an MP5.
The p320 is trash. It's for poor people who can't afford a HK.
>who can't afford a HK.
a moron that overpays for a better gun, is still a moron.
nta but overpaying for something like the flux raider is pretty stupid too
A moron can't afford a better gun is what you mean. Don't get me wrong I think the prices on USPs and Mark 23s are insane and are only for collectors. But I still prefer a V-Line or a Staccato.
t. VP9 owner who bought it exclusively to say he is an HK owner.
Still better than a sig
low bar to hurdle.
>cops nding while taking a shit is a sig problem
lmao
Do you work for sig?
do you have guns?
yeah
>its ok to shill HK
>its not ok to be skeptical of sig FUDs
uh, yeah, no shit
Correct.
yeah.... just don't accidentally shoot someone with that dogshit sig of yours...
>ellipsis
>four period ellipsis
you must be under 45 to post here
Maybe he just can't see his keyboard after watching the solar elipsis
I only do it because it's really fricking annoying and gets me (you)s....
If you’re gonna mount an optic to something like the FPC, are there any standout choices? I figured some high-powered thing would be wasted on something so small
Just get a Sig Romeo 5 off eBay for like 70 bucks. Can nail a 10 inch plate at 100 yards all day
Gotta love the Mp5. Nice to see how many here got them.
mp5 gang
Eurogay here, asking out of curiosity - can you buy a HK FA trigger pack in the U.S. unregulated in the same way you can buy FA LPKs for ARs? Is it one of those things where you can own these things but it becomes illegal once put together? Is it constructive intent? Are there differences between models that prevent you from doing this or it simply a drop in?
wouldnt fit in a semi-auto H&K, those all have a shelf on the reciever behind the magwell that requires a cutout in the trigger pack.
Yes. Carriers and receivers are also altered to prevent interaction with the auto sear before they are allowed for sale in the US.
anyone got one of those lee sporting lowers for their mp5s?
Considering picking up a B&T APC9 SD, any reasons not to? Basically in my state I would have to pin-and-weld a suppressor on a short-barrel PCC anyway so I figure why not just get the whole package?
At that point I'd opt for a Apc300. but if you got everything else you want why not
Did a lot more googling and reading, now thinking I should just get a Vanquish SBR, throw a hydraulic buffer in it, and save $1,000.
How do the MKE guns end up complying with their two pin receivers? Semi auto carrier groups and welded cross bar in the receiver?
Forgot to tag
Nta, for reasons I don't know HK put a rectangular hole in the front of the trigger housing as part of the oem design. MKE welds a 1/8th x 1/8th 'ish bar on the back of the mag well that fits through the hole and blocks a full auto trigger pack.
So the mp5 is at 850rds and I've already wrecked my first extractor spring. Is the MAAD bolt worth the $$?
I regret getting my mp5
just get a fricking 9mm ar
I would have done a vityaz if kusa hadn't gone down the tubes
I have a kp9 and it's fricking dogshit, I mean it's more reliable than my mp5 but the build quality is fricking utter shit, the brace is now loose and wiggles like a b***h now too.
I believe it.
I wanted a 9mm range toy and just couldn't get another AR, I really needed to be different
>just get a fricking 9mm ar
9mm ARs are terrible, no matter what action is used. post mp5
Getting an AR trigger pull in an MP5 sounds good as frick, but does it cause any reliability issues?
People here have unreliable MP5s?
when you have to buy spare extractor springs when one frick up can potentially frick it up completely? Yeah it's pretty unreliable.
Sounds like a skill issue, I've only swapped mine out about three times. Switch to steel and rest easy.
>I've only swapped mine out about three times
holy fricking shit lmao...
Why don't you buy a gun that doesn't kill itself like a troon every two years
Anon I've probably made a dozen different purchases since I got the MP5. Right now I'm doing a AK74 abomination. Don't be so mad okay.
You sound mad you can’t afford one. Probably have a hi point carbine, a GX4, and a maverick 88 as your collection. That is if you even hasguns at all.
Oh lmao you are a European. You can’t even take your guns outside, Kys.
actually I have a turkshit ap5 and it was the biggest scam ever
May we see it?
sure, but only because you begged like a good little pup
how'd you frick it up?
It's turkshit and a mp5 so he was double fricked before he even got the gun
I didn't frick it up, it came fricked up since it's an mp5, and turkshit
Why are you being so vague?
because it's not his.
More than likely it belongs to a family member or friend
I bet you never buy new tires or change your oil too.
>car analogy
>he doesn't refill his bus pass
you guys think tyrone would let me swap out my extractor spring in the middle of a home invasion???
https://www.letradeins.com/product/sig-sauer-p226-9mm-le-trade-in-9mm-very-good
SRT trigger. $629
I posted this for people who are interested. I've owned two W Germ sig 226s. Was underwhelmed, but I know people who really dig them.
Junk
gays who call their sp5/ap5/whatever the frick clones mp5s are so fricking pathetic.
it's the same garbage, no one cares if you have a real one since it's a stamped piece of shit anyway
Mad you can’t afford one
Brace cuck kek
well no fricking shit, I'm not dropping more money on this piece of shit. It came with the fricking thing.
gays who call their cuck shelf SP5/SP89/whatever the frick clones mp5s are so fricking pathetic.
Yeah man so pathetic. Same with all people who use any terminology I dont like. Frick off.
it's literally the same gun though as the mp5 minus the FA
There's no reason to be upset. Can you tell me the mechanical difference between these "not MP5s" and a socalled MP5 right now?
Check out my plinkster-y mp5 cloner-uuhskie, home slice
Oopsie
>homosexuals who call their Daniel Defense, LMT, BCM, PSA or whatever the frick clones ARs are so fricking pathetic.
>homosexuals who call their ZPAP, WASR, Arsenal, WBP or whatever the frick clones AKs are so fricking pathetic
This but unironically
>Bracecuck
Figured
I own a can and I can understand keeping a brace if it works and you live in a smaller state and don't want to have to tell the fedjannies every time you go over a border. Really its the people too scared to get a can that I don't get.
To be fair DD and BLM are pretty meh
>why are you calling your mp5 an mp5???
we get it, you're mad they didn't pay $2500 for a neutered mp5 because it has le hk stamp
Why are there so many alleged homosexuals in here???
I'm seriously thinking about getting a Chiappa M1-9
>reviews from 6+ years ago say they're shit
>newer reviews say they've worked the kinks out
>always liked M1 carbines but never owned/fired one
>don't currently own any 9mm guns but have a relative who reloads 9mm
>don't want to invest in niche 30 carbine
>eventually I want to get a 92 of some sort, and they could share mags
They’re chitzy crap, get a real M1, it’s worth it and is a great cartridge.
I agree, but if he's dead set on 9mm there's a decent bit of parts interchangeability so he can make the Chiappa less shitty. And I'd run it with Beretta OEM mags. But by the time you invest the money, there's a lot of options available now.
Thanks for reminding me. I was looking at this also.
I have 2 (TWO) AP5s from MKE and they are a joy to shoot and they cycle everything with no issue and they are accurate as all giddup and I love shooting them.
good for you...?
Why are you so upset?
it's over
1943 manufacture, drum mags required substantial grinding (about 1 mm) to fit the magwell but run reliably and contrary to claims on the internet they're actually quicker and easier to fill than banana mags. The gun is crude as frick, the safety useless and trigger bad, but it shoots far better than it deserves. My favorite open bolt gun to shoot.
that's cool as hell, anon.
hell of a shotgun
I raped my ap5.
just call it an mp5, dude.
How heavy is that rail/foregrip combo thing?
okay fine, it's a turkshit mp5. The UTG monolithic handguard is pretty light I'd say, the LAM adds a lot of weight though.
looks frickin cool.
yeah, it wasn't too expensive either, I got it for $150. Probably cheaper than a midwest hanguard + rail
going to get the sbr stamp for it? I did to get the collapsing A2 stock but it's not longer than the cuck stock anyways, so it's 600 ~ bones just to larp, but it IS cool.
I want to, but my buddy's eform 1 still hasn't been approved after 6 fricking months, so I'd rather not get assraped too.
mine took 16 months. I wonder if it's because I did it at the same time as my can, but in either event I can understand the hesitation because that shit is dumb.
but yeah, ngl, a b&t stock would look pretty sexy. Like pic related
nah it's mine, I just wanted to frick with you guys because I'm an butthole
Yep, I'm in the middle of getting a can for this thing, so don't wanna risk it. Rather get the can first.
What optic is that?
https://www.leapers.com/products-utgpro-mtu055ssm.html
9.8 oz
Looks rad but how does it mount at the front? It looks like it doesn't use the handguard pin or the handguard lip on the receiver. Is the whole thing just held by the 4 optic mount screws? So when you clamp up on a VFG you're stressing those screws?
It doesn't use the handguard pin nor the lip (which I thought it would, pretty weird!), and it's just held together with 4 side-locking lug inserts and the screws. Haven't heard of anyone breaking these yet though.
oh actually I almost forgot, there's also a set screw you screw into a hole right behind the front iron sight
Hm so that stops it bending down I guess. Anything stop it bending up? What if I slam the handguard down hard on a barrier to shoot over it? Seems like that might even tweak the whole thing and shift the optic's zero
I'm getting a sub2000. I'm tempted to dump the whole mcarbo suite into it. Has anyone tried this before?
Oh boy have I
what do you want to know?
Noice. What parts did you put in? And how tricky was it to work on? I'm hearing everything from "not so bad" to "godawful clockwork bukkake".
Is there a reason I should get a 5.56 AR over a PCC for home defense?
A 9mm AR or equivalent gun in a short barrel configuration will poke proper holes in most attackers whilst reducing pressure waves that damage hearing.
>9mm AR
Yuck.
considering that you will likely never need it for anything serious, the most important thing about an HD gun is that
YOU
FEEL
like it is adequate.
what if I happen to live in Detroit though?
Monster, Indeed, Engineering Jobs dot com, USA jobs, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.
Best suppressor I can effectively run on both of these guns?
>bonus points if HUB compatible
G19 & G17 sorry. Ideally it's small enough to be seen over the slide-mounted 509T, but also rifle rated so I can thread it onto a surefire HUB adapter and shoot it on my 16" in a pinch (already have dedicated rifle cans so this is tertiary)
god that stippling looks abominable
Yep it's atrocious. My buddy fricked it up pretty bad, but it was a free glock so w/e
Form 1 has been approved for about a month, but I just finally got the fricker engraved today and put on the barrel. It was much harder than it should of been by virtue of me being moronic.
Does the P90 count as a PCC?
Sort of? It's kind of eeeeeh.
I mean it's a carbine in a pistol caliber so you tell me
I should shoot my piece of dogshit Suomi more.
>uzi
my next SBR gonna be an uzi clone for sure. They're so fricking cool.
Older pic
True of H&K, B&T, or grand power.
what fricking rails ia this guy using? IM TRYING TO TURN AN UZI INTO AN MP7
Does google not work? It's literally the first result an airsoft handguard.
Black person i dont own airshit, im looking for something similar for an uzi. of course i know youd find it on google its a given.
>im looking for something similar for an uzi.
it probably doesn't exist. airsoft uzi aftermarket parts are probably in higher demand than real steel parts.
Am I moronic for wanting one of these? Pros I can see
-cheap
-smaller without brace/SBR shit
-good for teaching woman
Cons:
-little to no aftermarket
-discontinued?
-looks moronic
I forgot the fricking image, so I guess I am moronic.
a woman is going to be able to shoot an AR just as well as a PCC
You would think, but the length of an AR15 trips some of them up and the flash/noise gets them bad. Shorter overall length of the CX4 I think would help them quite a bit and the relatively less flash and noise is a bonus.
>a woman is going to be able to shoot an AR just as well as a PCC
Nominally true, but my gf (like most women) is propagandized to view my AR as scary and dangerous, so she refuses to shoot it. However she has no issue with my Ruger PC Carbine
It's getting a face lift soon.
Oh is it really? Hadn't heard anything about that.
It's why the old one got discontinued. Beretta said something about it at shit this year.
*Shot show
oh shit, must have missed that.
Why does the high end of this market suck so fricking bad. All I want is a fricking TP9 that I can stick my own suppressor on but B&T cucked it all up and HK will never give us what we want. My only options for something super compact are an MP5K.
I got my PMX today, damn its nice cant wait to shoot it.
