So i got this pink glock for a steal because it is pink. I only paid $200 for this thing from a guy who didn’t want it and it looks almost brand new.
What is the easiest way i can paint this thing and do you guys have any suggestions that would be cool?
Which type of paint is best and how do i do it? Can i literally just lay it down and spray paint it or do i need to disassemble it? Please inform me on what is best.
Keep it pink, humiliate anyone you kill with it. Plus cops won't want to pocket it for themselves after you use it
Lmao
Is there a certain type of paint that is best?
As funny as it is, i don’t know if i want to carry around a pink glock brother lmao. When me and the boys are target shooting they will roast me if i have a pink glock
yeah but you could train with it in secret and then outshoot all of your friends with the pink glock, or you could keep reminding them that you got it for $200 in current year, or you could just own it and play into the jokes.
also consider that you can spray paint the gun but the pink will poke through rather obviously when the spray paint inevitably wears off the grip and the edges of the slide. getting it properly refinished will be a huge percentage of what you paid for the gun and defeats the purpose of getting the gun for cheap in the first place
Honestly the color doesn’t bother me because for $200 its a steal and has the same functionality. Color is obviously just aesthetics that don’t matter. I honestly may keep it pink now and take your advice because it would lead to future lol’s with the bros.
This. It’s a nice shade of pink too, nice and muted instead of bright and obnoxious
If it's good enough for the SAS it's good enough for you.
Imagine having to serve onboard a pink submarine.
That's clearly a long range desert sub.
I have no idea if there is a best paint. I would just get a can of krylon general purpose flat black primer. I don't think this is worth deliberating over
I would guess you'd want cerakoting instead of literal paint for durability purposes, but then again I'm not the kind of guy to color a pistol. I assume that's much more expensive than paint which kind of defeats your purpose.
If it's just paint on top of the factory finish, Couldn't you theoretically either soak it in paint remover or sandblast it to reveal the original finish?
>they will roast me if i have a pink glock
Roast them back by being a better shot
>Roast them back by being shot
This. Imagine getting embarrassingly smoked by anon using the steamed shrimp 43x.
>the steamed shrimp 43x.
holy shit, I wouldn't repaint it now if I were OP, throw some wienertail sauce on them when you're done blasting
Lmfao
How can i brand my glock as the steamed shrimp?
Laser engraver this on the slide
>one day anon gets in a defensive shooting vs an asian guy
>gets "shrimp fried rice" engraved below it
DO IT
Anon should stencil a shrimp on the side with Rustoleum. Like the CS Weasel Glock but, you know, shrimp.
Field stripping a glock (slide and barrel removal) takes an actual 5 seconds to complete. Further disassembly is probably not necessary. Otherwise yeah, you can basically just rattlecan exterior surfaces
Why the frick would you paint it, this is hilarious. leave the pink Glock alone.
Stencil "medium rare" onto both sides.
I was gonna go with "enough is kenough" but that's pretty good
Underrated
Paint it neon pink with a hello kitty engraving on it.
I recommend taking some antiparasitic medications. This nail biting is indicative of an overgrowth of intestinal worms.
Actually the only fingernail clippers i could find were the straight ones and i accidentally cut them too short shit hurts bro
As someone who spent 20 years biting their nails (the Ebola thing here in Dallas made me stop, but I still pick them, can't help it man, it's subconcious) Those are not bitten nails
Tear the frame down bare and dye it with RIT. Paint/cerakote/whatever the slide to match or just black.
Forgot to add, use RIT Dye More, not regular RIT. Just Google rit dye p80. Theres a good video on the procedure on plebbit.
>pink
>no glitter in with the finish
I would have sold it, too
Swap the slide out, tell everyone it's your survival pistol and you always want to be able to spot it against the ground. Give them some BS story pink IS THE ABSOLBUTE BEST Visibility color. Look wide eyed at them.
or get frisky with a sand blaster if that's fully cured Cerakote.
>Salmon Slinger 43x
>Anon carrying groceries to his car
>Shadow person approaches and demands his money
>Anon drops the groceries and mumble-screams "STINKY PINKYYYYY!!!!"
>*bang bang bang bang bang bang*
I'm a nogunz Yuropoor Mick, but wouldn't painting a gun potentially lead to legal trouble?; that's what happened to FPSRussia when he allegedly painted over his gun's serial number.
that is not what happened at all, this better be bait
I wouldn't be surprised if one of his charges was along that line. They really wanted his arse.
Then again the only guns I've ever painted myself have no serial no. to begin with so I've not looked into it, and it'd be easy enough to stick a bit of masking tape over the insert.
>that is not what happened at all, this better be bait
I wouldn't be surprised if one of his charges was along that line. They really wanted his arse.
He was charged with that; Woody explains the charge (a 10 years in prison one), in the company of FPSRussia, who listens and then confirms that was the case:
Rapco would be the longest lasting without having to use an oven.
ALL HAIL THE STEAMED SHRIMP 43X!
Brownell's Aluma-hyde. It's about 20 bucks a can, epoxy based, and pretty much impervious to solvents when fully cured. Not quite as good as cerakote, but for $20 it's hard to beat.
make a real life bocchi glock
That's not even that pink. Just keep it, if that's powder coated it's going to cost more than you paid for it to have it refinished
>powder coating plastic
Lol
Lmao even
>Most powders require baking at around 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-20 minutes to fully cure.
>From a forensic engineer that did a few tests of his own: "The Glock frames are actually a proprietary blend of Nylon 6. Melting point is 420 degrees F
Might actually be possible.
I'd totally OC picrel to get thicc latina hotties
OP should do picrel

Put this shit in an airbrush or spray paint gun and have the weirdest looking Glock ever created. I'm going to do this to my Saiga. Imagine having a gun so black, you can find it in the dark because it still stands out.
They have cars painted with this shit and they don't look real. They look like CGI force fed into real life, and now I want to do that to all my guns.
Isn't that stuff super fragile? I remember watching an Action Lab (?) video about that and he didn't want to make clothes or wearable stuff up until that guy made the super black fabric because of how fragile black 4.0 was, especially on something that gets rubbed, like clothes.
>spray paint
citri strip will melt that shit right off
>baked on coating like cerakote
lol
Oh wow paint stripper will remove paint? That's crazy wow.
Keep it the way it is
Gives the gun some character
Maybe add some flamingos or something to make it look Miami Vice or something
soul
>tfw fellow 43x enjoyer
I'd keep it pink for the giggles.
