Nuclear War

How would an actal nuclear war play out? would it be a sudden all out first strike one day or a gradual build up with a tactical nuke dropped here and there or would there be a warning shot and suddenly everyone pussies out?

    >vatniks/chinks start to make moves to launch an nuke
    >USA and friends know about it before the enemy nuclear command does
    >overwhelming first strike to remove vatnik/chink ability for second strike
    And everyone is happy

Sometimes I wonder if people who post like you are shills, but then I just think about how 13% of the population is shoved in 100% of our media. How 5% of the population accounts for over 50% of all violent crimes, and how the 60% are blamed as the violent ones... and then it makes sense to me that everyone who posts something stupid isn't a shill, just another brainwashed moron.

    >russia just proved to the world that not only does it have nonexistent maintenance or even functional rocketry if their reverse flight paths are to be looked at, but it also ran into a WW1 level meat grinder with shit thats considered old and ancient by the west
    >the situation in china is growing more dire by the second if the nation wide doxxing is to be looked at, which also calls into question the effectiveness of pretty much everything of theirs (not even small arms can escape the chinese curse), not to mention at best they only have 300 total warheads
    >both countries are doing everything they can to get rid of the people actually capable of independent critical thinking all for mindless party dogma because monke or monxi don’t want to lose their spot at the top
I think the word is laughably one sided.

The rest of their “good stuff” completely failed in combat situations against anyone beyond goat herders. Doubt this parlor trick will be any different.

Don't they both sound like exactly the kind of morons to buy their own propaganda and internal escalating dialogue and actually try a nuclear strike though?
I always figured the Kims would eventually sniff their own farts too much and press the button when they finally got their missiles but the russkies or chinks might beat them to it

The reality is that nobody knows, and nobody wants to find out

Even a limited nuclear exchange would be world changing

probably a massive NATO first strike since they've better intel, numbers, launch capability and dispersed strategic nuclear assets.

I'm thinking Russia and China will get pasted the hardest, with a couple hundred leftovers for the Norks and Iranians.

I do wonder if NATO would implement the counterpoint doctrine though, keep nuking China and Russia so much that nothing can live there for the next 500k years, or move in with conventional forces to enslave the remaining population for rebuilding

      The NATO goals would be
      >Sink every SSBN
      >Destroy every land based ICBM/IRBM/GLCM
      >strike strategic airfields FAR from population centers, no fly zone over airfields closer to population centers
      >Demand immediate unconditional surrender, complete nuclear disarmament and regime change or the remaining NATO nukes start falling on military bases, centers of government, industrial centers and finally population centers

    Depending on the scenario

    1. Tactical conflict IE somebody bombs an airfield with a small nuke to try to either stop the conflict with a message of strength
2.Other side ignores the message responds in kind with a nuke of their own to attack a similar target
    3. Tit for tat until the taboo wears away
    4. enough soldiers and material are dying that at some point a general will make a decision they have to strike first to get the advantage
    5. full nuclear exchange starting with decapitation strikes at capitols and nuclear forces followed by military and industrial targets
    6. Surviving military and navy reprisal strikes against surviving enemy over the following days after the main exchange

    vs

    Cuban missile crisis type situation

    1. Nuclear forces are on full alert
    2. submarine loads nuclear torpedo to attempt to break a blockade (this happened)
    3. Submarine launches torpedo and destroys a naval group
    4. Immediately a full exchange with strategic nuclear missiles breaks out over the course of the day as it becomes clear the situation is not controllable and lines of communication are lost with naval/air/land forces globally

It's really hard to say; there are thousands of possible scenarios, ranging from Putin "sending a message" with just a single warhead, up to a full-out exchange. There's no one way to fight a nuclear war, especially given that the best move is always to try to avoid any more being sent your way.

    >Russians shilling nuclear war threads again
I guess Putin must be looking at his peacedeal options again. There was a huge number of these threads way back in march/april while they were negotiating and then they dropped off a cliff.

Everyone but UK and Israel will start nuking USA at about the same time because they got enough of their shit.
Whatever is left will be given to Canada's green party to try and "revitalize".

I guess it's time for the old diagram again.
Sorry vatpig, your propaganda lied to you. In reality everyone loves the USA and everyone hates Russia. You can't even buy friends.
Last week Lavrov went cap in head to Africa to beg for ANYTHING and came away with NOTHING. Can you imagine, not just begging Africans for help but being refused by them?
