Accuracy. In the trials for the Army's new pistol, the M&P 1.0 did not meet the accuracyn requirements at 25y. It couldn't have been the barrel design alone, because you can still put a 1.0 barrel in a 2.0 and it will function. But the 2.0 solved the issue somehow. My SWAG is timing and lockup with the slide.

If they don't have a patent on Gen 3 Glocks anymore what can they do?
It isn't a Sig. It doesn't shoot when dropped or holstered aggressively. It also has protection from overinsertion. It also doesn't have a large height over bore. It's also inherently stronger due to being designed for 40S&W from the outset.
>it does the same shit a pistol made in 2023
Except it fires a round that's roughly 25-30% more expensive than 9mm, is single stack, and the frame/slide is typically not updated any of the common ergonomic features that many of the shitty striker guns that run 3/4th the price come standard with.
Not unless you want to step up to double stacked 9mm versions that start around $2500 (I do not accept a Springfield Prodigy and no I will not be elaborating) and that is before you pick up 3-5 $100+ magazines. I'd love me a 2011, but apparently a modernized, double stack, 9mm version is completely out of the reach of the average working man.
Might wanna check out the platypus, some cosmetic QC issues but been hearing good things otherwise. Still a little pricey at 1400 but not totally undoable
Ironically, my deciding to go ahead with the .45 AARP Shield was because I like the caliber, and it has standard 1911 capacity in a little striker fired single stack.
fde
I've just never gotten good groups with one.

what was wrong with the 1.0 barrels?

New models have better triggers.
God damnit. OR too. Wish they'd come out with this prior to 2019.
There has never been a more disgusting pistol ever produced short of 1910- kids-drawing pistols.
You will use the wavy Lays slide serrations and you will enjoy them.
Glockgays will immediately pick it apart just because you said this.
Just don't drop it

SIG had to bribe the army to use "modularity" as a requirement to prevent M&P from destroying them in the trials
OH BOY THE SIG GUY IS HERE TO b***h ABOUT SIG LIKE IT'S CZ FROM YEARS GONE
Imagine carrying something like this on your hip.
>not being sold in yurop
It is sold in yurop
where though? I can’t seem to find it in austria
We got it in France.
Italy. Last resort if you really want one is to buy from a store here.
>Prezzo: 666
I've seen it in my country. Only parts availability, aftermarket gear and all made me pick a Glock.
It will protect you.
plastic
Five or six thousand rounds. No failures of any kind at any point.
It is literally a fricking pistol, it does the same shit a pistol made in 2023 does, and probably better while having unparalleled history.
