Then we've clearly hit peak Poe's Law, because unless Putin decides to YOLO what's left of the Black Sea Fleet and his available manpower on a Dollar Store D-Day, I literally cannot conceive of a plausible scenario where Russia takes the entire coastline. Or even Kherson, at this point.

I don't see how that scenario could possibly work. Odesa is too far from any Russian SAM screen and far too close to NATO airspace.
It might have worked in February 2022 with everybody in disarray and the fleet at full strength but it definitely won't work now.

They have top-tier patches because they were designed this year and not in 1942, so they reflect today's styles and aren't outdated. They also were made by actual graphic artists and not some guy's moronic brother trying to draw an eagle.

It's not an "anchor insignia", but a variation of the dynasty coat of arms of the Ostrogradsky dynasty (Apostol), after him brigade is named. He was the founder of the Ukrainian fleet after the formation of the state in the 19th century.
