This is not entirely true. The omicron spike protein is not the same as the original Wuhan spike protein they used in the vaxx. In fact the omicron spike is mutated so far that it became harmless. That's why they still add original Wuhan spikes to the so called "bivalent" boosters even though the Wuhan variant has been extinct for 3 years now.
