So under constant political pressure to press offensive operations Russians resort to much less organized human wave assault groups.
Survived is a relative term. When you get hit adrenaline keeps you awake and moving unless you hit the T dead zone, even with fatal injuries.
You could survive for 3-4 days in agony unable to move much stuck in noman's land, but in the first minute or two you can probably still run around. You could be near fatally wounded but able to be recovered after a day or two and maybe survive.

Ukris are using AGS in very short bursts to conserve ammo. They don't have enough to just go hooah and ditch entire belt.
