    rudimentary wrap for injuries
dry spot to sit on for wet days
cover for your muddy boots when taking pants layers on/off, so you can keep your boots on
lining for your pct hang if it rains
shopping bags can be wrapped to make suitable rain protection for your head, also fits over a beanie
you can boil water over a fire/coals in a plastic bag
use it to suffocate women alone in the woods
i always keep the trails clean and use any plastic bags i bring to pack out litter on the way out of my hikes
there's a lot more uses for them, those are just some off the top of my head

you can make fire with a plastic bag too

where do you even get them anymore?
they've been banned in stores for years now and the only ones you can buy are organic diodegradable ones that melt if they get wet

ITT: lots of idiotic people who don’t go outside giving terrible suggestions that are moronic on their faces.

Purple is a county, city, or municipal ban, or a charge for plastic. Green is a state ban. Colorado is banning in 2024.

in Brazil we had that law but it didn't last for long, everyone uses them for everything, ppl just don't give a frick and that's it

        that map is completely bullshit,

they were replaced here by thicker "reusable" plastic bags that everyone uses exactly the same as the older thinner bags, even more trash

        is what's happening in oregon

if you're at the store you have to bring your own bags, or buy paper bags for 20cents each

    >carry wet clothes in your backpack
from experience, you're better off with a ziplock bag. same goes for food storage. plastic bags are vulnerable to rips.

You can actually make body armor by stacking like 30 of these and melting them down. There's like one or two things to add and it's rifle rated too!
