Most cost-effective weapon?

Say that you have a lot of people but only a little money. You can either arm everyone with pipe shotguns and hi-points, or you can buy more effective weapons for some people and leave others unarmed. How do you get the most bang for your buck?

Seeing as Taurus has a rebate right now that lowers the cost of a G2C to about $175, I say just buy as many of those as possible. It's a step up from the C9, and is actually pretty solid and decently supported. So you can even get decent holsters for the things.

I might just pick one up if they're that cheap. Do you know if gunbuyer .com is a good site to buy from? They seem to be pretty cheap there.

buy more effective weapons for a smaller number of people. train the shit out of everyone, and make sure to devote several hours a day to political indoctrination.
The dudes with weapons act as a strike force, with an early focus on raiding enemy weapons depots to get more guns. the unarmed people act as a logistical tail and spy for the people with guns. As you steal more guns, you arm more people.
For more information about this, look up Fred Rwigyema and the National Resistance Army in the Ugandan Bush War. They used this approach. They won because of their focus on clear chains of command, responsible and responsive leadership, and discipline and political indoctrination of the rank and file. All of their enemies were better armed than they were, and they all eventually lost because they lacked the discipline and clear chain of command enjoyed by the NRA. Tutsi leaders such as Paul Kagame and James Kabarebe also broke away from the NRA and took control of Rwanda using the exact same techniques. Paul Kagame also probably murdered Fred Rwigyema to clear the way because Fred Rwigyema was literally an exiled prince and revered by the Tutsis.

If South Africa last summer then a few guys with rifles and shotguns. The rest armed with sticks and radios since just having bodies out there helps deter hordes.
If US 2020 then get everyone a shotgun or a pistol at least. Kyle was cool but going by just the numbers I'm certain more shit was stopped by shotguns and especially pistols.

Handing a cheap gun to a bunch of morons is useless. I would buy a nice complete setup for myself and train.

Ruger SR9C is the most cost effective weapon I've ever owned. Was like 280 bucks, will take any day over a Glock 17/19

It's really incredible how much Ruger has stepped up their game in recent years. I bought an EC9 a couple years ago and it's amazing how well made the gun is for $220. Shoots where I aim it, has never jammed once, quality machining. Them and Taurus are probably the best value out there at the moment.

Did you learn anything from Russia in ww2? When the soldier in front of you dies, you pick up his rifle and keep fighting.

This is like asking a hoplite hey should we have a few guys in bronze with good weapons or a lot of guys waving rocks and sticks. There’s a time and place for the guys with sticks, but idgaf what anyone else does I’m buying the best I can afford and making sure I have at least a few friends with the same mindset. Let the shitmunchers scramble to scrounge up an old hi point lol
