They lost against russians and then were irrelevant for like 22 years again until they started doing tiktok videos in ukraine pretending they were in actual combat lol, why do you hype them up so much? Ragheads in afghanistan also have combat experience but not enough to fight properly apparently

Funny thing is most of the hype comes from russians. It's a coping mechanism Every time russians see the shitshow that is their military, and unable to accept that they need to do better their tortured psyche instead starts painting the enemy as some sort of superhuman fighters.

You'll see it with current war also, in about a decade it will be common knowledge, among the ruins of former russian federation, that hohols are so mighty they could've taken NATO+China alliance easily, and only due to holy russian fighting spirit the whole thing ended in, basically, a victory, with Ukraine restored to it's borders.

            >You'll see it with current war also, in about a decade
They're already coping with the 'largest army in europe of a million fanatical nazis supplied and commanded by the entire NATO'

this war also basically confirmed the ridiculous number of kills germans got in WW2 was legit
soviets have been sperging about the numbers supposedly being exaggerated for decades
and it was almost believable but russians really are more incompetent in reality than people can imagine lmao

          >irrelevant
Not really. They were some of the most fearsome enemies the US and ISAF encountered in Afghanistan. Those guys were not your typical militant muslims. They were squared away and had a very good grasp on the type of warfare required of them. More than a few TICs resulting in American deaths were a result of well laid Cechen ambushes and surprisingly fearsome responses to American assaults/ambushes. I'm not a Chechen worshipper, but I learned to respect them after my second deployment in 2003.

            >irrelevant

This is just not true. After they got defeated in the second Chechen war, many of them fled to other Islamic countries and became renowned fighters in most conflicts that have happened over the years in the Middle East, on all sides. They were one of the reasons why it was so hard to take Fallujah. Highly trained Chechen snipers hyped on on painkillers, with pre-applied tourniquets dug themselves in and gave marines a run for their money using Iranian G3 clones. They have also been in Ukraine since 2014.

            >I'm not a Chechen worshipper, but I learned to respect them after my second deployment in 2003
Yeah forgive me if I don't believe someone claiming this on a siberian woolspinning forum. You can respect any combatant that risks their life and tries to fight you, like all the other nationalities involved in the middle east. But I don't think chechens are special in any way beyond having isolated mountain caucasian genetics.

it's become a meme. chechens did better than arabs after their diaspora, so whenever there are semi-competent troops or stories about elite enemies in the ME they get called chechens by the masses.

Tourniquets are a last resort intervention for a wound. This fanfiction sucks.

              most intelligent /k/ user.
The tourniquets are not tightened in this instance, you wrap them around the arm but do not start twisting the windlass until you are hit. This way you don't stop the blood flow to the extremities until you need to.
There are uniforms that have built in "tourniquets" in a manner of speaking.

                Anonymous

You're a fricking moron if the first thing you do to any wound is tourniquet it. You're just guaranteeing limb loss when the majority of combat injuries don't require it. It's like having an airbag go off whenever a parking sensor pings

For your next trick, you're going to say they didn't use plates or take captagon either.

                they DEFINITELY took drugs

                Anonymous

Doesn't really make sense for that Chechen sniper fantasy story though, the point of a tourniquet is to stop blood flow for a short amount of time before you receive serious medical help, after 20 minutes or so you'd lose your limb, if they're out on some suicide mission they wouldn't just tighten the tourniquet and run to a hospital

                Anonymous

If you get shot in the leg/arm, the tourniquet is already there, so you tighten it, stop blood flow, and fight on until killed.

It's a common technique among the fanatically brave which dates back at least as far as the Moro warriors in the Philippine–American War of 1902.

                >The cat tourniquet should only be used when indicated. If used inappropriately, the patient could continue to bleed or even lose a limb (Lee et al, 2007; Dayan et al, 2008). A tourniquet can safely be left on an extremity for 2–4 hours without release

They're literally Caucasian. Unfortunately that doesn't mean much given their muslim views or general Black personish behavior.

      >d I wish Europeans would have the same stoic attitude towards life.
You just proved you don't know any Europeans that are from fishing or farming backgrounds. You are just some pathetic awful immigrant transplant who should go home because you don't know where you are and you don't belong or understand it because you have no connection to it other than entering it or being born to someone who went there illegally to claim socials security.

The only Chechens I've ever met were hungry skeleton manlets and moronic. 5'4 and couldn't count without using their fingers and speaking out loud. They were attending a fricking Islamic scholarship function. They have that weird, vacant stare you tend to find in Arabs and the profoundly moronic.

The reason you see so many buffed meatmonster Chechens in pictures from actual Chechnya and among the kadyrovites is that steroids are semi-illegal or tolerated in the Russian Chechen republic and their weird masculinity cult encouraged extended use of them. If a super hardcore and cool Chechen male wants to be part of the cool gang he basically has no other choice than taking steroids because everyone does it

I've met a handful of Chechens in my life and most were rather scrawny, at least none of them were tall or notably fit

I've heard a lot of horror stories about Chechens but every single Chechen I've met was pretty nice and easygoing. Most seemed pretty intelligent and educated, too
