Frick if I know, everything I know is that this exists
As anything in maths it's probably "enough to take a result from someone who actually does maths." So, being able to see which number is bigger is probably the long and short of it.
Probably just enough to get through grad school econ for non-econ majors and a single polsci or pubpol type grad school quant methods series. But these schools know they are partly recruiting future managers, not PhDs who will be doing research, scientists, etc. so these courses aren't super advanced. They are just enough so that you understand the concepts behind analysis you will use, not enough to let you do real analysis because you need more methods. Like, everything they deal with is a complex dynamical system but they're very unlikely to deal with splines, kernal regression, or ever encounter the term phase space or have to think in n dimensions about the shape of their model.
Certain programs tend to be bigger about getting the future generals and full colonels and focus less on quant stuff and more on management. Although some military guys do go to security studies programs that are full on heavy into AI models, intense quant series, etc. just not most.
Now to actually rise to deciding what the military does? Like, big picture? Well, you have to understand that whole major disciplines of mathematics were developed for Kabbalah, graph theory for one. You're talking levels of abstraction your average math major's head would explode over. Model theory, infinite alphabets for computation-like abstract processes in cellular automata n dimensional lattices. Category theory, Hegelian tacos, adjoint modalities and being/nothing -> becoming type negations, or even actually having to read the fricking Science of Logic. Torah as information fused to information ontology metaphysics, it from bit, consciousness (of the Absolute) causes collapse shit too. Have you ever computed so hard you spawned an actual golem? Then you can't even imagine.
I mean... this is supposed to be a formalized SIMPLIFICATION of the Science of Logic...
I made it 70 pages, understood none of it. I wasn't meant to ascend. To attain the Gnosis is no mean feat, and the mastery of the Ogdoad is just gives you the equipment to begin climbing the Sepirot.
...that or they don't rule everything and just have a maximally autistic subset of their religion. In which case, being a fat, rich kid reality TV star is enough to become commander in chief. IDK.

if you want to get promoted in the military just kiss ass better than the rest of the competition. Do you think any high ranking officer is competent? Just look at the fiasco when the US fled Afghanistan what a shit show it was, same for Vietnam.
Your question reveals you are working class. You will never reach the higher ranks.
Unless he finishes a few college degrees, depends
>50 dead us soldiers == 4
>3 dead terrorists ==22.
They carry off thier dead.

Why make a post when you have absolutely no idea what the frick you're talking about?
schizo
moron
not much because you delegate it to people with skill and knowledge
Yes
That formula is not considered math
>higher ranks of the military
you just need to know that 2+2=5
skill to send morons to death
destroy the bridge
I think of you go through Bourbaki, EGA, SGA, and the stacks project you'll have a good foundation
