Mask strings

I've put the strings on masks to good use, often to tie things down. They're stretchy and incredibly strong or their size. They're also extremely plentiful since masks are everywhere. I often collect discarded ones just to harvest the strings.

I've never seen anyone else talking about this so I might be the only person in the world who has noticed this.

If you want a near infinite source of stretchy strong strings: masks.

I wouldn't know since I haven't worn masks in year and a half.

I see them discarded all the time, and I have a small supply of them so I have "harvested" them. If you pull them out carefully you still get the glued ends which means they won't fray.

what do you use them for?

Anything that you can use short strings for. So far:

      >lights to my bike
      >reflector for my bike
      >replacement for broken button on my shorts

I use them to tie up my tomato plants. Also, hair ties.
