1. Redo all this shit. Make a thumbnail that sticks out, think "branding". All the good videos have it. Even if it's just an anime screenshot with a subtitle like "Anime Waifu Robot Series, Ep. 3 - Making the Face"
2. You pause, stutter, and go "uh" way too much. Open Microsoft Word or get a piece of paper, make a script, and stick to it. Practice it before the real thing. Record yourself doing difficult tasks, don't talk, and then you add that into the video later and narrate it like "Here you can see me struggling with the components on this part for a little bit, but I finally got the hand together"
3. Change your name. Delete "my thoughts on chan culture" because that is definitely sinking you on YouTube's algorithm. Just assume it is.
4. Step it the frick up. Seriously. Think big. Get your anime waifu a latex head. Even if you have to pay some Indian pajeet off Fiver or Upwork to do a 3D model that someone else can turn into a silicon face. Go all fricking out with this shit man. okay so i tried using obs studio however its had an issue with some library. I should have taken the time to fix that first or reinstalled windows if linux is not going to play nice. But you can understand how tedious that is... But yes the audio is my fault really.

That's very naive. You don't want to rely on software for something like that. Especially in a complex project. If there's a bug in the code, goodbye dick. In general, safety should come from hardware. Like those sawstops that save you from chopping your fingers off when using a table saw, no software involved. As a bonus I'll try and help you with the finger problem here because there's no way I'm commenting on yt. First is your joints are way too floppy and loose, too many ways they can foul up and bind, tighter tolerances are needed. Second the throw of your draw cable is way too low for a straight shot through the complete finger length. Try using intermediate push pull rods at each joint to increase the leverage

Finally, for your robot hand; buy yourself an RC plane controller and reciever + a 2S battery pack. You will get much better control over the servos which will allow you to demo them to the camera better. It will also help with diagostic and testing. You should also buy an LED light so your workspace doesn't look so dingy.
Also, I don't know what you're doing here but flanged bearings exist for a reason. They are especially helpful with 3d printing because you just put 2 flanged bearings together and you can whole an entire joint together with a single bolt and nut while giving excellent manoeuvrability. What you have there is a poor engineering solution and is not strong at all.

If you had any class at any worthless college that deals with the video presentations, then what they tell you is to:
>make a script outlining the topic
>make a storyboard (list of frames with doodles in them and description on the side) to pace your video (that is optional based on the structure of your video, longer videos need it)
>get the footage
>do a voiceover on dedicated microphone
>edit voice and video footage in video editor (even shitty flowblade or kdenlive or any other linux editor is sufficient)
Keep in mind 70% of video is sound, 30% is the video. Bad video quality with good sound is better than cinema quality video with shitty sound.
But you know your robotic hand project has one great use. If you make it sort of presentation on a piece of wood to show off as your engineering portfolio when you apply for an engineering job. That's about it. If anyone would want to hire you for any embedded programming, then having bunch of projects showing that you know your stuff will put you ahead bunch of losers who don't even attempt to do anything. But that's about all what is possible.

Man ok I appreciate your effort here. You remind me of the art institute 20yr olds I used to teach. Lots of ideas but no real world experience in key areas. This is normal for 20 year olds ( and older too ). The poster who wrote about your outlook and perspective was correct. You see yourself as the center of the universe, and that needs to broaden a bit with experience.

This whole thing seems like a mess tbh. If it was just making money off youtube and pushing DIY waifu STLs on social media, it'd be one thing. But if you want to make a living off producing and selling robots, even on a client-by-client basis, it's gonna take more than this.
Function should come before form for a project like this. Robot waifu? Anyone can build a waifu. The robot is the hard part. The silicon-shelled anime heads and aesthetic robot spines can come later, after you've made a functioning robot to attach those things to. And good luck. Building a robot like this is a massive undertaking of engineering that has been the goal of every ronery nerd for the past half century and none of them have pulled it off. This probably has something to do with why you have no collaborators. Either that, or because nobody in their right mind would want to "volunteer to help" you build such a groundbreaking business from the ground up completely for free and let you take all the money and credit. Even if you offered a stake, there's also the fear of legal liability when the robot you built in your garage and sent halfway across the world via fedex inevitably breaks someone's dick in half. Also, you seem to expect people to reach out to you and help, but have you ever reached out to anyone else? Those countless lonely nerds who came before you in decades past must have a LOT of advice they can offer.
I don't mean to be overly negative, but it's clear that you dove into this project without much consideration for the future or where to start. Then again that's how 99% of startups begin, with big promises and no real plan. Follow your dreams OP.
I did make a video on how id go about this thing ideally. However we can bend the rules a little bit. I also did say I'd add a month or 3 to each milestone.

I do think its fair to say that the new tech has been improvements and not straying from the path. Aside from AI for example. But yeah i shouldn't have brought that up.

You are running into the very real world problem of learning that executing things is exponentially harder than thinking of them. To a degree that is fricking mind boggling.
If this is something that you want to do, go get a job in a one of the related fields, so you can learn what really goes into making any of these things a reality.
I mean you could literally be one of my old students who wanted to make a video game or be an environmental artist.
Just to point out one thing as an example - that timeline is all noise, and minimal signal. That isn’t what a “real” timeline looks like, and it shows that you lack real world production experience.
Find successfully people, do what they do. Find successful projects, imitate them. When it comes to groups, give more than you take. Make yourself integral to other people’s success.
When I was 20, I moved to sf and started cold calling design agencies. One guy literally laughed at me on the phone, it was completely soul crushing at the time. But eventually I got my foot in the door, by being persistent - and then by being useful to whoever would let me. And I made myself a career out of it.
Understand that the next few years will be frustrating, that to grow you need to learn and change.
