> orcs are entrenched on the left bank of the Dnieper
> behind their backs is the biggest desert in Europe
> ...a flat, sandy, rocky desert...
> ...like fricking Iraq...
> mwf the US still hasn't supplied the fricking Abrams so the Ukes can conduct a surprise rape attack from the Zaporozhye direction
how is there a desert there anyway
>the biggest desert in europe
it looks like about 3km wide lol
>>the biggest desert in europe
>it looks like about 3km wide lol
Well, all the other European deserts are even smaller than that tho.
Also no, it's like 15km wide, not 3km
what tool is that?
sand was from deposited from the dnieper, lots of sheep overgrazing in the 18thC ate all the grass/ shrubs, topsoil erosion lead to sand dunes. contained with forests. same thing happened in poland. just goes to show don't frick with topsoil.
Not the largest.

not OP but I can guess where the replies are headed. Ukraine isn't getting M1s because the minimum training time (assuming basic is already completed) is about 13 weeks.
It's probably no faster to train on a T72, but they have them now, what they don't have is M1s, or the recovery vehicles, or the personnel trained to do higher level maintenance.
>because the minimum training time (assuming basic is already completed) is about 13 weeks.
This war has been going on for 37 weeks, at this point lack of training isn't the problem, it's that they never start the training.
Don't get me wrong anon, war's going to last a lot more than 13 more weeks, but someone at the top decided that we're not sending IFVs or tanks or gunships or jets to Ukraine of western design and that's that.
>16 weeks minimum for training
All this says to me is that training should start as soon as possible
ye
turbine maintenance is a pain in the ass. Abrams is not worth it in ukraine right now. Modernized t72 and a few captured t80/90 are enough
wtf? turbine maintenance is relatively easy to do on the m1 due to the simplicity of the power pack
>Abrams when?
When they are low on soviet legacy tanks. As Russia has donated some serious numbers, probably never.
I will only post this once and then never agin.
The reason why no NATO (or other) country is sending non-soviet tanks to Ukraine isn't logistics, or training, or cost or whatever.
It's US intelligence. And this is why you will not hear any NATO defense minister or so ever talk about why they aren't sending their MBT's or IFV's.
The US intelligence has got hold of the russian military doctrine and all their plans and strategies. Now, russia knows one thing clearly: The second a conflict between NATO and russia starts, Putins days are counted. russia will lose, and can't do anything aginst it. It doesn't have operational nukes (an/or NATO can render them inert).
So, the russian strategy in case of a conflict with NATO or a NATO intervention is simple: Immediatly close the suwalki gap, and absolutely devaste the Baltics/Poland within the first 24 hours with artillery (and parts of Belarus if necessary). Go full on burned ground to delay the NATO advance as much as possible. Even though NATO airplanes would hit Moscow immediatly, and NATO would gain air surpremacy afer 24 hours, NATO would still have to fight their tanks to Moscow which will take months, even if NATO advances several kilometers per day, because they need to keep up with logistics and supply and can't leave their flanks open.
And here comes the crucial part: When does russia know that NATO intervenes against russia? In such a conflict, every minute counts to prolong the war and give Putin another hour in his bunker. so the russian doctrine is:
As soon as NATO tanks or NATO planes/helicopters are spotted opening fire on russian tanks, no matter what flags they fly, they must (and will) assume that the NATO intverention has begun.
NATO knows this because three letter agencies. They know that as soon as the Ukies will use their western provided tanks, the baltics will get bombed to shit and tens of thousands lithuanians, latvians and estonians will die. And they don't want to risk that.
Meds, now
>Immediatly close the suwalki gap
With fricking what? Hopes and dreams? Their army is dead.
With what army homosexual? All the artillery is in ukraine and ruskies are out of cruise missiles
Oy! Blyat!, Don't dare give Ukies tanks or we'll nuke the baltics with artillery!
Triggering article 5 and leading to the Immediately extermination of all Russia forces globally. You won't do shit Ivan.
We don't give them tanks because tanks are a poor investment in this particular conflict and we don't want to expose them to Russian/Chinese intelligence for minimal increased performance over Bloc tanks. So instead we'll scrounge up every surplus bloc tank on earth and send it to Ukraine to be used up. How long till the US is buying T-62s off the Russian black market to give to Ukraine?
The want kraut tanks, Leopard 2.
Abrams get the frick out of here, what a joke.
pic rel, the new kraut tank
I know this is bait but its genuinely sad how far the "bait" on this board has fallen
>There's a desert in Ukraine
