You could do a version of "Any Dream Will Do", I think that'd work with the lyrics you're going for.
Is it me, or was interception so low that debris fell into the AD system?
>1st 2nd & 3rd missiles hit target close to camera >4th missile hits something far off camera behind building >5th missile appears to be intercepted by AD launched from behind building >Possible second interception or another AD missile launching without a target further in the distance
Any comments on this timeline I've written?
Anyone have any serious ideas of what could have done this? ATACMS? Hrim? I thought Hrim was vaporware.
Missiles 1-3 hit BSF comm center, that's confirmed. From my shitty geolocation OSINTarding, I'm 95% sure missiles 4-5 were targeting something in Pivdenna Bay. Based on recent high-res commercial satellite images of the bay (March 1st ish), I would bet money they were going for another Ropucha or Kilo. The AD missile in the distance I'm not sure about, but I'm wondering if it could have been from the airfield north of the bay. Might be too far tho.
Ukrainians sent 10 "hot" decoys in then sent in the real thing. Russian turned the sky on fire then ran out and the real ordinance came in. It's not going to stop.
I swear to god I thought I was reading the csgo copypasta.
Storm Shadows 1-5: Clearly missed
Storm Shadows 6-9: Missed due to CEP (GPS jamming)
Storm Shadows 10-11: Very close, but intercepted by AD
Storm Shadow 12: Didn't actually hit its target but debris fell from the interception and caused the damage
Man, why does media never capture the look of real high explosives? There's just something so visceral about it. One second there's nothing, the next there's a 100 foot tall cloud of fire and smoke and dust.
The cost of actually blowing up a building with that level of explosives is prohibitive when you can just fill some gas bladders and make a big fireball that’s gonna be on the screen for like 4 seconds while coolguy tm walks away

How does it compare to the various payloads that HIMARS carries?
Presumably similar payload, but less accurate?
Links to published performance metrics?
It's a full on SRBM, so it's analogous to ATACMS or even PrSM. The export version is said to have a 300km range while their domestic use version can go up to 500km.
What is there to target in central Sevastopol anymore? Arent most ships pulled back? And I doubt Russian generals are brave enough to bunch up in a HQ building there anymore.
lol the center is fricking everything in Sevastopol.
Not only military offices, but bases also, it's moronic city
The first hit in Musson - it's a reopened military factory
It's to minimize trolling via rickroll, sanic, etc.
Just install PrepHoleX and external video links will be embedded, they're typically higher quality than webms anyway since they don't have to be re-encoded.
It's one thing to b***h about OP posting a twitter or reddit link, but providing a catbox link is just as good as a webm, if not better.
[...]
That's complete bullshit. There's several other smaller imageboards with much worse userbases in places with a lot worse laws and internet cultures that are completely fine with having sound webms and even mp4 files and they have no problems with screamers or trolling clips.
At the time it was more of a trend, and the novelty of webms meant people were trying to troll with them as much as they could.
It should have been a temporary restriction but PrepHole is always awful about updating the website. For example, we still have wordfilters active for short lived memes that stopped being a thing years ago.
>It should have been a temporary restriction but PrepHole is always awful about updating the website
Only website where webm playback works on my fapple phone
>At the time it was more of a trend
The newfriends and war tourists don't remember when /b/ would raid other boards every night.
Opening nade-drop videos to hear Riley Reid's screaming orgasm wouldn't cause me any particular trouble but there's lots of other /k/omrades who don't need to explain it to their family or workmates and if sound were routinely available in webms, it would probably come back.
That's because you only browse social media websites where you, a social media user, are dumb enough to not notice how everything you see is "curated".
there is a simple solution if youre not moronic
allow webms with sound but you have to manually unmute them or check a box in the settings to automatically unmute
Just allow reporting (and then enforce banning) people for inserting screamers into videos.
What's the problem with screamers?
I occasionally use 2ch, I sometimes watch webms there. There are maybe less then 1% of screamers in "variety webms" on /b; even less in threads with a subject. And replies usually warn you about it.
That's complete bullshit. There's several other smaller imageboards with much worse userbases in places with a lot worse laws and internet cultures that are completely fine with having sound webms and even mp4 files and they have no problems with screamers or trolling clips.
You do know that posts on PrepHole just die eventually, right? The idea of this site is in part that it is temporary. All of the time sensitive abuse of the system happens before your moronic idea takes effect in the first place.
No seriously unless there's child porn in your post then the mods don't actually care, and there have been historical examples on this site of even that not taking hold.
More footage, from a different angle (just after the main fireball and boom).

Hopefully video relevant helps in geolocation?
Well that doesn't really mean much, you can have multiple launchers operating at the same time.
They do this with HIMARS for example. They're often used in pairs.
They don't have many Hrim and Hrim isn't a MLRS, also Hrim has range and (I'm guessing) more worth anti-intercept because of its size and speed. More likely a HIMARs volley, maybe a GLSDB volley. Volley<>Hrim, it not the current fashion to volley MRBMs, for the future who can say?
>too far for GLSDB
What about when the AWACS says it's clear, a Ukie Frogfoot wing comes in from the sea and tosses some JDAM(-ER)s at maximum range then fricks off again at wave height?
I have no idea how vulnerable low-flying aircraft over water are to land-based air defences that could/would actually be positioned to cover against exactly that attack.
There's also the chance that they were using some HARMs for SEAD during the attack, or they had intelligence from the AWACS that some previous strike had knocked out a portion of the air defence radar around Ceвacтóпoль.
If so they are syncing up these missiles into a little concentrated flock like MLRS does naturally. Not straightforward. Position-at-time waypoint programming possibly with loitering loops. That was not how Storm Shadow was before. But I do concede the range problem.
Apparently it's the Information and Computing Center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. So a pretty juicy target if true, pic related is the area that was supposedly hit.
>Information and Computing Center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet
Juicy target in a NATO country but this is probably just the place the officers sleep off their hangovers tbh. Then again, seeing as it is dark some of them would probably only just be getting up.
>Information and Computing Center >full of rocket fuel?
Backup generators and a few days of fuel for them.
You don't want a black-out or a circuit-breaker in a iunction box taking out fledt comms.
*on top* of an ammo depot. The fuse went off when the GMLRS rockets penetrated the basement it was stored in, which annihilated the entire building, along with a nearby fuel storage and motor pool
i'm having trouble seeing this even if i see the smoke afterward.
Also AA may have shot some missiles into the air, doesn't mean they hit anything. I'm remembering the pantsirs defending the Kherson bridge against Himars. Lots of missiles went up but the following morning revealed more holes in the bridge.

A bit early to be certain though.
>building tall buildings all around your satellite dishes
I'm no rocket surgeon but that seems like a dumb idea. Wouldn't they be better off with some distance between them and the buildings? Or even on top of the buildings?
Nope. Satellite dishes are very line-of-sight. As long as the building isn’t directly in the way it doesn’t matter.
And an extra 50 feet of height when you’re aiming at something 26,000 miles away doesn’t matter, either.
For anyone interested they also look to have struck two more refineries last night. One in Novokuybyshevsk and the other in Kuibyshev. Someone update the bingo cards.

In both it is common practise to flush the pipes with chlorine a couple of times a year. The water comes out milky white. The water in Bg an Rom is perfectly drink able as long as you avoid the flush periods. In alot of small village there is no central water system an people really on well and hydrophors, and there the water is untreated. There is this village near Veliko Tarnovo where the water catches on fire though, but that due to under ground nstural gas.
So explain this to me. In ex-SU countries, well, at least in Ukraine, we don't usually drink tap water because it is chlorinated. And all these years looking at maps like this I was thinking that EU countries have artesian wells(because that was the case for several countries I've visited) and the US must have some fancy-pants purification shit going on, but no. all drinking water is chlorinated to some extent because chlorine kills bugs and parasites
the trick is to chlorinate it enough to kill off the bad stuff, but not so much that it kills the people drinking it
being able to do so successfully is one of the signs that you might be looking at a developed nation
>and the US must have some fancy-pants purification shit going on, but no. Turns out US water is just chlorinated too.
As other anons said the correct amount of chlorine is fine. That said a lot of US water is absolutely fancy-pants purified or artisan well. Ozone and UV+filtering are both technologies in use. Chlorinated water still exists of course, as in so many things there isn't really a "US standard", rather it's all down to states and cities/towns. Everyone can and does do different stuff so long as the measurements come out right in the end. There is some federal money that can (eventually) become available for places super poor who really need help, so that helps keep a floor on things, and water treatment scales well so even the poor in a decently well off city benefit from good tap water basically for free. But there is still significant variation, sheer age also plays a role.
there are differing standards on how much chlorine and the type (chloramine is more popular now in north america). also the more organic contaminants there are in water, the worst it tastes when it contacts chlorine. chloramine is nasty though, it releases more lead from old lead pipes, it affects sensitive people more, and its much harder to filter. water companies use it because it survives longer. you still get water scandals in north america, detroit for lead (increased chemical interaction between lead pipes and chemicals added to water) and walkerton ontario (ecoli contaminated water supply, many sick some died)
Aight then why Belarus is listed as having dtinkable tap water despite it literally having 100% water treatment systems as the rest of former SU republics. Btw here in Ukraine we control water quality with electronically monitored crayfish. If you add too much chlorine/whatever they become less active

>we don't usually drink tap water because it is chlorinated
Ironically, tap water is safest in the west when it's chlorinated (fluoridated too but that's another moron-filtering argument).
Chlorine by itself isn't that bad for you, it's worst when it's reacting with stuff in the water, which of course is what it does. If chlorine is added to pure water then you usually barely taste it, it's the reaction products that you can taste and sometimes they're bad for you but usually better than whatever they killed.
So you use chlorine but you also filter the water so that ideally, the chlorine has nothing to react with.

I wonder to what extent an acute brain drain has crippled russia.
It's difficult to imagine intelligent, resourceful and creative types not fleeing the country at least a year ago.
Its been pretty back since the 90's, the great flight of anyone with a STEM qualification really put things like engineering and medicine back decades and didn't really improve since. Education has also slid backwards a lot to the extent its basically daycare for chimps and higher education locally is so bad, anyone who can get a qualification overseas does the GTFO... then realised how fricking rubbish Russia is and stayed out.
Sort of the running joke that if they started blowing up the western countries, they'd kill all the rich and important people's kids
I've just been looking up what financial incentives exist for anyone to stay I'm now convinced Russia is held together by a group of very patient volunteers at this point. It's all so grim.

At the turn of the 90's and the dissolution it was basically bedlam, that's when my wife's family left and made their way to the UK. It wasn't so much they wanted to leave but there wasn't really much for anyone and being they were both medical professionals at least they could make a proper go of it.
Since 2022 they've both been back to Ukraine for over 2 years now to help out as volunteers
Eyebrow raising if everyone knows everything. That would be 4 out of 6 of the amphibious assault ships destroyed.
Yep, sounds about right only 2 left and even they might be beat up/bit broken. Those big ships are really important as there's not always a lot of reliable roads, some stuff won't fit on trains and they're a relatively low-key way of moving stuff around that's of some degree of secrecy or high importance. Like the S400 and the big radar arrays you're not going to trust to some degenerate rail dudes not to drop it or sell it on ebay

It used to be the same in China, it's still there a bit but it's more optional now, people are just a bit nervous about not giving the surgical team *something* because they're afraid of resentment so doctors and surgeons still make bank but it's done in a gift/tip context and more of a "whatever you can afford" instead of a bribe not to die.
If it got exposed as an actual bribe, there would be hell to pay.
If someone asked for and didn't get a bribe and the patient died or something, there'd be an online lynch mob like only the Chinese can do and the police would arrest the hospital governor down to the surgeon and make examples out of them. It's potentially a capital crime.
Still a lot of red packets, cartons of cigarettes and rice wine changing hands though.
t. both got surgery in China and in-laws were doctors there
Ukraine smartly hit the war for national survival alarm very early on and has been taking this seriously, meanwhile Russian leadership hasn’t even been able to present a cohesive objective for the war let alone tell their industry what they need to do to win.
>man really feels like ukraine has greatly upped it's domestic production or smth
Being able to trade freely with Europe is a huge advantage, both in terms of accessing good market rates for components but also keeping elements of the supply chain out of the war altogether.
they've been building up to this since 2022
As soon as the americans said "no shooting into Russia with our weapons" they launched a design competition for a long range indigenous suicide drone
about a year ago one of the competing designs hit the flag on the Kremlin (remember that? I bet those guys ended up winning the conpetition) and now, another year or so on, they've scaled up to full rate production amd begun their strategic bombing campaign
Its all quite textbook really, even if the methods are rather unconventional the timeframe basically matches how long it took the allied strategic bombing campaign to spin up back in WW2.
I'll be very interested in seeing what the bombings look like a couple of years from now, assuming the war lasts that long
>about a year ago one of the competing designs hit the flag on the Kremlin (remember that? I bet those guys ended up winning the conpetition)
POC Demo of the fricking decade, god i wish i was in that meeting
chimping out and hitting random buildings isn't the response you should do, you should wait, gather intel and hit key positions when they least expect it.
They're forced to respond for internal political reasons, so they will expend their limited production of new missiles on things like power plants that get repaired by civilians a day later. Remember the cope when Monke first started using that "strategy" back after the Kherson humiliation I believe, that the transformers that Ukraine uses only exist in limited quantities and there's no way the degenerate west will be able to supply them? Whatever happened to that?
If he strikes not transformers/substations, but actual power plants, then it's an issue.
Steam turbines are expensive, huge and slow to produce and install.
On the other hand huge chunk of power in ukraine is generated by nuclear plants, so lets hope he still doesn't want to cause a nuclear accident.
No moron, if you don't pay and let inflation ruin the debt then the debt should rise with inflation, else the person doing "the israeliteing" is the person who owned the debt trying to get out of paying it by making their currency worthless.
If 1 cent of "insert static value big mac" was worth 10 dollars now, then you owe them 10 fricking dollars of a big mac.
Apparently the US usually has something flying nearby during these missile attacks. This time a Global Hawk. I wonder if it’s ISR or if they’re actively controlling flightpath updates to react to AD threats popping up? Not that would be possible with ballistic missiles. But they could ID stuff and pass the data along with the Ukies.
do they have confirmation of which botes were hit? i'm guessing only small ones, it would be pretty earthshatteringly stupid for russia to keep their larger, more important vessels based at sevastopol at this point.

A huge point and military significance of Crimea was the mountainous shore, that soviets used to build entire submarine bases underground. Literally untouchable. But nah, let our critical military objects be bombed in comfortable center ignoring the giant military advantages and established infrastructure they actually wan't the Crimea for.
My grandfather was stationed at the Balaklava sub base during the cold war. It was regarded as like a summer resort for soviet marines at that time, you could go swimming with the boys and just hang out. Absolutely beautiful scenery. Knowing our slant eyed friends it's probably filled with plastic garbage, needles and actual human feces
Sad.. why are they like this? My mother planted flowers around our commie block. Spring come you see russian babushkas digging them out to sell or stuff the butchered remains in their windowsill pots, or the loud demon spawn pulling them out, just to carry for 500m and toss on ground.
It's a societal thing, Russia didn't have to make much for itself after the revolution started claiming territory beyond their borders, and in turn, kleptocracy and an overwhelming lack of appreciation for what they have came to be the norm.
Spite, anon. My mom once planted flowers along the fence of our house. The neighbors spent months looking at old zoning documents that revealed that the fence should be three inches further into our side. They went through the police and courts to have it moved. Do you think they wanted three inches of land? No, they wanted to destroy the flower beds.
Fricking Russians, man.
>Was there inside
I've been inside a similar one in Kotor Bay in MonteBlack, Tito built a bunch of them around.
MonteBlack is still full of concrete bunkers around, most commie blocks here are built around a courtyard that's the roof of a big bunker.
Some are turned into car parks or gyms now, the rest are just barely maintained as safe zones for natural disasters now.
Dude they are used for logistics, shipping men, municions, and weapons to the front. Landing ships, a single highway, a single railway, and the crimean bridge supply all of Zaporistia and Crimea.
If (unironic) terror groups keep taking notice of how porous Russia's borders have become and how ineffectual their internal security is, you may get your wish without Ukraine or NATO needing to raise a finger (or an eyebrow).
>go to look up if any images of the Ropucha's being hit >latest news is Russia stealing Indian weapons that India has paid for already
Why isn't India chimping out about this? First the T-90's, now S-400's.
It seems our scamming friends are on the receiving end for once. This whole war's put India in a pretty bad strategic position tbh, they needed to buy up Russian arms to counterbalance China and now there's none to spare. No wonder the poos are all so angry at Ukraine and NATO (they're too stupid to just blame Putin for shitting the bed).
This and the way they completely overlook him scamming (lmao) Indians to be used as cannon fodder, too. It's an entirely self-imposed humiliation ritual. Think they miss colonial rule?
> Two #Russian Navy Pr.775 ROPUCHA Class landing ships, Yamal and Azov, hit by missiles in Sevastopol last night, as well as other naval infrastructure. #OSINT
If it turns out to be true, it'll just be the old Alligators left in the Black Sea, god only knows how they're held together with corrosion and suffering this late in service
With missiles, instead of sea drones? Any reason for this? I mean, considering how precious missiles are, and considering naval drones can only be used for, well, naval targets, might as well use them instead of missiles. Plus we naval drones, you're almost sure to sink them. Missiles should be mostly damage (though it should be enough still)
>With missiles, instead of sea drones? Any reason for this?
Because the ships were probably in port, rather than sailing on open water where drones could get them. Which ironically makes them even easier to target, as long as you can defeat the AA in place.
>Which ironically makes them even easier to target, as long as you can defeat the AA in place
Harbours cut both ways, they're a static target which is otherwise unknown against naval vessels so even ballistic weapons can target them but it means you can put fixed defences like AA there and even fortified rooves over smaller vessels.
The drones are effectively remote-operated expendable destroyers i.e. warships.
Safer from other warships means vulnerable to TBMs, so choose your poison and roll your dice.
Wonder what you'd find if you did a deep dive on that guy's financials. There's a few X dwellers like him that aren't exactly shy about their support of Russia to the point it's obvious they're paid to say shit like that.
>blackmailed because he's a pedo
You don't use blackmail that way.
The blackmail isn't used for loyalty, it's to get them to accept the bribe in the first place.
Then you keep the loyalty with money which keeps them happy and comfortable and able to see a future for themselves.
The blackmail is just there to remind them not to terminate the arrangement but you can't use it to control them because it loses effectiveness eventually like all threats do.
When you keep threatening people, they eventually get sick of it, accept that you're going to do it and plan for the worst. Which might be suicide.
Hang something like that over their head long enough and they'll break in the end, they'll write a letter to the press or record a confession that attacks you, then kill themselves.
You need to use the blackmail more carefully and compromise them in ways that gives them something to live for, lets them hope it will be over one day and not ask them to do much they can't live with. You need them to accept and get comfortable with the arrangement and convince even themselves that they're doing it out of some sort of profit or principle.

Which country's spy sats can detect digits like those?!
Judging by how Putin is calling it a Ukrainian operation, he seems intent on calming things down with the muslims though.
Looks like the Kremlin doesn't want to fan the flames of a multi-generational Russophobia among Afghani terrorists and their international partners.
I knew they had been pulled away from Ukraine in 2022 or early 2023 but I didn't know they were the FSB's little personal gay militia to this extent. No wonder people provoke them by saying they're pussies that don't actually fight.
>I didn't know they were the FSB's little personal gay militia to this extent
Bruh, everyone is russia is recruited by FSB or affiliated gays.

But at least Wagner actually fought and so were the rest of the mercenaries. Rusich just posts stupid lancet drone videos and does photoshoots torturing suspected terrorists. Oh and get blown up a few times by mines in Ukraine like in 2022.
Bruh, torture is normal and is used in literally any random russian police department, don't get me started on FSB or military. Sodomizing with bottles and brooms, electroshock (of genitals, ears, head), burning with cigarette lighters is basic stuff used everywhere in russia. In the pic there's usually the basic trick of using an electroshock (IIRC oldschool field phone with a generator) to the balls and dick.
>IIRC oldschool field phone with a generator
Pretty sure that's exactly what it is.

Indeed he is, no muslims going to dare crossing Russia now.
Muslims are famously afraid of being hurt or injured themselves in their attacks, le monke exploits this well known weakness.
it's fun that 2/3 of them are non-european themselves, like when rusich does a fundraiser the owner of a bank account suddenly is muhammad, or milchakov is literally a slanted eye subhuman, etc

russian chat says they got 3 for 3, not sure how credible this is.
The Ivan Khurs was recorded by a USV detonating near it. Whether it actually damaged it is unknown. But if it did and it got hit again, then that's more damage.

Anyone have any serious ideas of what could have done this? ATACMS? Hrim? I thought Hrim was vaporware.
Storm Shadow.
You can hear the missile flying in some of the other videos.
Probably Neptunes too

Missiles 1-3 hit BSF comm center, that's confirmed. From my shitty geolocation OSINTarding, I'm 95% sure missiles 4-5 were targeting something in Pivdenna Bay. Based on recent high-res commercial satellite images of the bay (March 1st ish), I would bet money they were going for another Ropucha or Kilo. The AD missile in the distance I'm not sure about, but I'm wondering if it could have been from the airfield north of the bay. Might be too far tho.
Another Kilo would have been a lovely catch
>Submarines: 2
I would be laughing for hours.
Oh, God dammit. I've been blueballing for the sub count to go up for something like a year now.
pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease .....
Ukraine just confirmed they got two Ropuchas so you were the closest to being correct.
It was shot from here 44.585463, 33.520623
and the first missiles hit somewhere here 44.585122, 33.487994
Funding to finish development was allocated last year according to Ukraine's MoD.
>Russian AD actually shoots down a non-friendly airspace intruder, possibly for the first time in history

That's the good shit

Man, why does media never capture the look of real high explosives? There's just something so visceral about it. One second there's nothing, the next there's a 100 foot tall cloud of fire and smoke and dust.
Not enough budget and computing power.

The cost of actually blowing up a building with that level of explosives is prohibitive when you can just fill some gas bladders and make a big fireball that’s gonna be on the screen for like 4 seconds while coolguy tm walks away

Why is it that only /gif/ allows webms with sound? We're in 2024 but we can't have basic media sharing?
Japanese ownership
Unironically, JP chans already got video with audio and with bigger file sizes long ago.
Do you know what a user script is?
/vt/ is using PrepHole sounds script for tampermonkey with catbox sound source and it kinda works
With script
It's pain in the ass to make those and I ain't making special /k/ one to show how it works
meant for
But why post a tumor?
How do I do this?
It's to minimize trolling via rickroll, sanic, etc.
Just install PrepHoleX and external video links will be embedded, they're typically higher quality than webms anyway since they don't have to be re-encoded.
It's one thing to b***h about OP posting a twitter or reddit link, but providing a catbox link is just as good as a webm, if not better.
>Just instal PrepHolex
Yeah no thanks
This was such a bullshit excuse back when they first implemented Webms, nowhere else on the entire fricking internet is this a problem
At the time it was more of a trend, and the novelty of webms meant people were trying to troll with them as much as they could.
It should have been a temporary restriction but PrepHole is always awful about updating the website. For example, we still have wordfilters active for short lived memes that stopped being a thing years ago.
>we still have wordfilters active for short lived memes that stopped being a thing years ago.
I have no idea what you are talking about tbh

The newfriends and war tourists don't remember when /b/ would raid other boards every night.
Opening nade-drop videos to hear Riley Reid's screaming orgasm wouldn't cause me any particular trouble but there's lots of other /k/omrades who don't need to explain it to their family or workmates and if sound were routinely available in webms, it would probably come back.
/b/ hasn't been raiding boards for 10 years now.
That's because you only browse social media websites where you, a social media user, are dumb enough to not notice how everything you see is "curated".
>nowhere else on the entire fricking internet is this a problem
You also can't say Black person anywhere else on the Internet
there is a simple solution if youre not moronic
allow webms with sound but you have to manually unmute them or check a box in the settings to automatically unmute
What's the problem with screamers?
I occasionally use 2ch, I sometimes watch webms there. There are maybe less then 1% of screamers in "variety webms" on /b; even less in threads with a subject. And replies usually warn you about it.
That's complete bullshit. There's several other smaller imageboards with much worse userbases in places with a lot worse laws and internet cultures that are completely fine with having sound webms and even mp4 files and they have no problems with screamers or trolling clips.
>and they have no problems with screamers or trolling clips
It was a /b/ thing at the time.
Just don't give sound to /b/ then. Problem solved.
because asiaticmoot actually hates us
Screamers
Just allow reporting (and then enforce banning) people for inserting screamers into videos.
>gets banned
>restarts router
pssssst...nothing personal kiddo 😉
Eventually your ISPs local dynamic IPs runs out 🙂
Great, that does literally nothing.

Breaming is underway.
Whatever it was it wasn't Hrim - they hit it three times lol. Piggers really wanted to get that. Probably HIMARS.
>Whatever it was it wasn't Hrim - they hit it three times lol
Elaborate
hrim launcher carries 2 missiles
Well that doesn't really mean much, you can have multiple launchers operating at the same time.
They do this with HIMARS for example. They're often used in pairs.
They don't have many Hrim and Hrim isn't a MLRS, also Hrim has range and (I'm guessing) more worth anti-intercept because of its size and speed. More likely a HIMARs volley, maybe a GLSDB volley. Volley<>Hrim, it not the current fashion to volley MRBMs, for the future who can say?
too far for GLSDB, unless they massively underplayed it's specs
>too far for GLSDB
What about when the AWACS says it's clear, a Ukie Frogfoot wing comes in from the sea and tosses some JDAM(-ER)s at maximum range then fricks off again at wave height?
I have no idea how vulnerable low-flying aircraft over water are to land-based air defences that could/would actually be positioned to cover against exactly that attack.
There's also the chance that they were using some HARMs for SEAD during the attack, or they had intelligence from the AWACS that some previous strike had knocked out a portion of the air defence radar around Ceвacтóпoль.
>Piggers
>probably HIMARS
lel, Storm Shadow deleted your satellite receiver complex, an oil depot, and 2 Rapua landing ships.
Stay losing.
>an oil depot
TOD (total oil death) continues.
lore accurate
If so they are syncing up these missiles into a little concentrated flock like MLRS does naturally. Not straightforward. Position-at-time waypoint programming possibly with loitering loops. That was not how Storm Shadow was before. But I do concede the range problem.
Unfortunately looks like air defense worked flawlessly
If you're trolling, stop, you're indistinguishable from actual ziggers.
The trend of Ukraine exploding big thingd in Russian backlines at night seems to be increasing, not decreasing. Just saying.
Their uav production is in full swing and it looks like their ballistic missile production is getting into full swing.
so what did it hit, something in the city center?
It must have been a priority target to be hit with three missiles in succession like that, right?
Maybe a military hq?
810th Marine Brigade HQ it seems.
> Information and Computing Center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
I don't know aything about the navy so what would be important in this?
>Information and Computing Center
full of rocket fuel?
>You see, Sergei, any place can become rocket fuel storage if you put barrel of rocket fuel in basement.
what is more likely, a russian Computing Center full of ammo and explosives or a russian Computing Center full of computers and advanced technologies?
>Information and Computing Center
>full of rocket fuel?
Backup generators and a few days of fuel for them.
You don't want a black-out or a circuit-breaker in a iunction box taking out fledt comms.
UPS batteries can be energetic too
Compressed butthurt of zigger shills after a full day shift on here.
It’s plausible, remember that barracks that was placed right next to an ammo depot?
*on top* of an ammo depot. The fuse went off when the GMLRS rockets penetrated the basement it was stored in, which annihilated the entire building, along with a nearby fuel storage and motor pool
> Computing Center of the Russian Black Sea Fleet
Must have been quite a Colonel Panic
That is a PrepHole and /k/ crossover joke and I’m not sure if there’s a lot of overlap in user base kek
Maybe just needed one hit but expected more of the missiles to get shot down
Is it me, or was interception so low that debris fell into the AD system?
i'm having trouble seeing this even if i see the smoke afterward.
Also AA may have shot some missiles into the air, doesn't mean they hit anything. I'm remembering the pantsirs defending the Kherson bridge against Himars. Lots of missiles went up but the following morning revealed more holes in the bridge.
AA appears to have intercepted at least one.
either it's an interception or the missile auto destructed after missing it's target

No.

Nope. Satellite dishes are very line-of-sight. As long as the building isn’t directly in the way it doesn’t matter.
And an extra 50 feet of height when you’re aiming at something 26,000 miles away doesn’t matter, either.

why the frick can't russia just do what ukraine does and hit tons of sensitive targets with homemade long range drones, why did they have to buy shitheds from iran. don't get me wrong, but ukraine and russia are still both post-soviet dilapited and industrially atrophied. why is ukraine the one that got it's production back up faster?

Ukraine was also an engineering centre in the USSR and Moscow was not.
>Ukraine was also an engineering centre in the USSR and Moscow was not.
This is a major point that many people miss, and not without historical parallels.
Hitler's first target after absorbing Austria was Czechkslovakia, precisely because Bohemia had been the industrial and engineering powerhouse of the former Austro-Hungarian empire until its post-WW1 dissolution.

you can't drink the tap water in London that's for poor people who want breasts and birth defects
What if I want breasts?
>London

Then again, looking like a mutant is a very english thing and the kids think having breasts is their true identity these days, so maybe its just how it be
>tap water in London that's for poor people who want breasts and birth defects
>balkans and some other southeastern euro countries like romania and bulgaria cant drink tap water
the frick
Smaller cities that can be supplied with directly drinkable local fresh water sources like mountain springs etc. Try drinking directly from Thames in London - you'd need sophisticated filtration or infrastructure to bring in enough water from distant, clean sources.
Turns out US water is just chlorinated too. How tf is it drinkable
It’s not concentrated in a high enough amount to be toxic.
Aight then why Belarus is listed as having dtinkable tap water despite it literally having 100% water treatment systems as the rest of former SU republics. Btw here in Ukraine we control water quality with electronically monitored crayfish. If you add too much chlorine/whatever they become less active
re: belarus, who knows, human error?
i saw a tv show where a polish city used clams or some shellfish as one of their methods of monitoring water quality.
Here in the BR state of São Paulo the tap water is drinkable too, I know this because my dad was the chief of security for this whole region of the state and he would drink it. Now, I doubt the lazy fricks who live in a squat in a swamp or in some abandoned housing project have access to it, but those bums don't even pay taxes.
all drinking water is chlorinated to some extent because chlorine kills bugs and parasites
the trick is to chlorinate it enough to kill off the bad stuff, but not so much that it kills the people drinking it
being able to do so successfully is one of the signs that you might be looking at a developed nation
>all drinking water is chlorinated to some extent
Except for the Netherlands. They do it without, but it costs more.
https://www.researchgate.net/publication/40742083_The_Dutch_secret_How_to_provide_safe_drinking_water_without_chlorine_in_the_Netherlands
>oxidation by means of ozone or peroxide
>biostabilization of the water
Fricking awesome
But yeah, they could just use chlorine lol
It's just filtrated to higher standard, and those standards are kept. In russia you basically play russian roulette, you may get sick or not.
>and the US must have some fancy-pants purification shit going on, but no.
But there is still significant variation, sheer age also plays a role.
there are differing standards on how much chlorine and the type (chloramine is more popular now in north america). also the more organic contaminants there are in water, the worst it tastes when it contacts chlorine. chloramine is nasty though, it releases more lead from old lead pipes, it affects sensitive people more, and its much harder to filter. water companies use it because it survives longer. you still get water scandals in north america, detroit for lead (increased chemical interaction between lead pipes and chemicals added to water) and walkerton ontario (ecoli contaminated water supply, many sick some died)
>we don't usually drink tap water because it is chlorinated
Ironically, tap water is safest in the west when it's chlorinated (fluoridated too but that's another moron-filtering argument).
Chlorine by itself isn't that bad for you, it's worst when it's reacting with stuff in the water, which of course is what it does. If chlorine is added to pure water then you usually barely taste it, it's the reaction products that you can taste and sometimes they're bad for you but usually better than whatever they killed.
So you use chlorine but you also filter the water so that ideally, the chlorine has nothing to react with.
>access to western components
>Those big ships are really important as there's not always a lot of reliable roads, some stuff won't fit on trains and they're a relatively low-key way of moving stuff around that's of some degree of secrecy or high importance.
They just don't want to transport it trough the Crime bridge or it will again become military target.
Pretty sure its still a big fat fricking target
The comm centre in Sevastopol got quietly renovated by fire and explosions, so no more cheeky blowies in the parking lot at shift change.
I thought McDonald's pulled out? Or did they mean Tasty Period?
>I thought McDonald's pulled out?
they did, russians took over and made a fake version to keep the people happy

If you keep people poor enough, they don't have the freedom to move or finance anything else to change their life. You essentially keep them on life support, but cut it back as soon as you see them standing on their own legs.
Healthcare workers in shit countries are expected to be paid bribes. It can be lucrative if you're in a position where people need a life saving procedure.
That's the only reason why the staff don't just leave the public sector. At least that's what it looked like in Poland up until 2000's, and I have no reason to suspect it's different in Russia now.
Its interesting to be Brazilian and see stories like this to see we're not that fricked up, yet. I think the only place down here you'd see something like that is in countries having their own wonderful socialist experiments like Venezuela and Cuba and Nicaragua.
That phrase "if communists were put in charge of the desert there would be no sand" is cliche but its completely true.
>Healthcare workers in shit countries are expected to be paid bribes. It can be lucrative if you're in a position where people need a life saving procedure
Still a lot of red packets, cartons of cigarettes and rice wine changing hands though.
t. both got surgery in China and in-laws were doctors there
Ukraine smartly hit the war for national survival alarm very early on and has been taking this seriously, meanwhile Russian leadership hasn’t even been able to present a cohesive objective for the war let alone tell their industry what they need to do to win.
>why did they have to buy shitheds from iran
Gotta make money. You ever wonder why they were so over budget?
>man really feels like ukraine has greatly upped it's domestic production or smth
POC Demo of the fricking decade, god i wish i was in that meeting
i'm sure we'll get more details about the procurement process a few years after the war is over, whenever that happens to be.
I thought that was the same one?
>Someone update the bingo cards.
Everyone forgot about that after the Crocus cacophony.
>Novokuybyshevsk and the other in Kuibyshev
There two were already hit like a week before, so probably still important stuff left there to destroy
The more important thing was demonstrating that "Biden is stopping Ukraine from hitting refineries" was complete bullshit.
Man, was the terrorist attack and the smoking accident yesterday not enough?
>smoking accident yesterday
Which one? We're still waiting to find out what happened at those two airbases that got hit over the last week.
A refinery and a steel mill.
Was that refinery Novokuybyshevsk or Kuibyshev or did they hit a third one in the last 48 hours?
Sounds like storm/scalp the hedgehog to me.
looks like this hit made them angry
the banan is raised
chimping out and hitting random buildings isn't the response you should do, you should wait, gather intel and hit key positions when they least expect it.
such a shame the tu-95m won't get shot down.
I dunno, what ever did happen with that? I assumed it got fixed somehow but I'm interested in how.
The banans are coming off, crests!
>more impending civilian casualties
>likely another 2 shootdowns
Frick me, Saturday already?
No moron, if you don't pay and let inflation ruin the debt then the debt should rise with inflation, else the person doing "the israeliteing" is the person who owned the debt trying to get out of paying it by making their currency worthless.
If 1 cent of "insert static value big mac" was worth 10 dollars now, then you owe them 10 fricking dollars of a big mac.
btw there's an old video from 2014 showing the base.
looks like you could fit a lot of ziggers in it.
>Boris Johnson Go! Go! Go!.webm
>This time a Global Hawk.
that flies basically daily and has done for literally years now, btw
So what got bombed? Any confirmation?
Stormshadows, hit a comm centre, computer building and a HQ as best I've been able to figure out
30+ personnel, two ships, and three aircraft, as well as unspecified "infrastructure".
do they have confirmation of which botes were hit? i'm guessing only small ones, it would be pretty earthshatteringly stupid for russia to keep their larger, more important vessels based at sevastopol at this point.
They've stated the vessels struck were "large amphibious ships" named Yamal and Azov.
F jamal he was a good boy who dindu nuffin wrong yall.
Eyebrow raising if everyone knows everything. That would be 4 out of 6 of the amphibious assault ships destroyed.
>it would be pretty earthshatteringly stupid for russia to keep their larger, more important vessels based at sevastopol at this point.
If they're BSF vessels, where else could they store them?
novorossiysk?
Noice, thx
>There are no fewer traitors in sevastopol
The word is freedom fighter. Kek.
You know what that means, right? Random civilians will be abused, girls will be snatched from the street, raped and killed as "retribution to traitors"
>well camouflaged command post
Another appropriated luxury apartment for tactical blowjobs?
A huge point and military significance of Crimea was the mountainous shore, that soviets used to build entire submarine bases underground. Literally untouchable. But nah, let our critical military objects be bombed in comfortable center ignoring the giant military advantages and established infrastructure they actually wan't the Crimea for.
Why even keep the Crimea then?
Was there inside while it was under Ukraine (it was a museum back then) ... no idea what it is now
>Was there inside
I've been inside a similar one in Kotor Bay in MonteBlack, Tito built a bunch of them around.
MonteBlack is still full of concrete bunkers around, most commie blocks here are built around a courtyard that's the roof of a big bunker.
Some are turned into car parks or gyms now, the rest are just barely maintained as safe zones for natural disasters now.
>result of falling debris from downed missiles
Kek, the levels of cope here
QRD on the ships.
Black person
Oh fug two landing ships?! That is huge. Even damage would take them out for months.
no biggie.
not like russians tried to land anywhere.
They used them to ship supplies to Crimea from the mainland.
Dude they are used for logistics, shipping men, municions, and weapons to the front. Landing ships, a single highway, a single railway, and the crimean bridge supply all of Zaporistia and Crimea.
>only the two newer Alligators left
>newer
>1968
>1975
It never ceases to amaze me how fricked Russian industry is.
>yamal
savior of crimean people with its supply runs?
They really don't have many landing ships left.
6 ships then all focus is back on the bridge. Can't wait.
OH SHIT homie THESE HOHOL homieS GOT MY HOMIE JAMAL
I want this to happen every night in every russian city against purely civilian targets
If (unironic) terror groups keep taking notice of how porous Russia's borders have become and how ineffectual their internal security is, you may get your wish without Ukraine or NATO needing to raise a finger (or an eyebrow).
>go to look up if any images of the Ropucha's being hit
>latest news is Russia stealing Indian weapons that India has paid for already
Why isn't India chimping out about this? First the T-90's, now S-400's.
Sauce/QRD?
https://www.armyrecognition.com/defense_news_march_2024_global_security_army_industry/india_announces_further_delay_in_delivery_of_last_two_s-400_air_defense_systems_from_russia.html
>(they're too stupid to just blame Putin for shitting the bed).
Usual face-saving bullshit. To admit Putin fricked up, is to admit they also fricked up in relying on him in the first place.
This and the way they completely overlook him scamming (lmao) Indians to be used as cannon fodder, too. It's an entirely self-imposed humiliation ritual. Think they miss colonial rule?
Whoever is in charge of that in India probably has some FSB e-prostitute pretending to be his girlfriend
I'm sure India took that into account when they negotiated the price of oil bought from Russia
> Two #Russian Navy Pr.775 ROPUCHA Class landing ships, Yamal and Azov, hit by missiles in Sevastopol last night, as well as other naval infrastructure. #OSINT
775s just can't catch a break.
If it turns out to be true, it'll just be the old Alligators left in the Black Sea, god only knows how they're held together with corrosion and suffering this late in service
If the report is accurate, that was the last of them in the Black Sea.
>Dollar store D-Day officially dead and buried
Well, guess that one's off the list now.
Just these ones left now and you can flip a coin to figure out which one gets sunk next!
>Nicolay
>Orsk
>Orksk
If it was orks, at least it would be red and covered in guns
0 - 4: Nicolay
5 - 9: Orsk

roll for TZD
With missiles, instead of sea drones? Any reason for this? I mean, considering how precious missiles are, and considering naval drones can only be used for, well, naval targets, might as well use them instead of missiles. Plus we naval drones, you're almost sure to sink them. Missiles should be mostly damage (though it should be enough still)
>missiles should be mostly damage
Cool. What happened in Lvov by the way.
Vatnigs chimped out and destroyed more civilian housing, making Ukraine and the West hate them even more. What else?
Hows about you tell us in another thread or just frick off back to whatever shanty you crawled out of long enough to get wifi
Let me guess
They hit an apartment block and killed some civvies?
I don't understan /k/ how does he do it?
ZERO
HITS
Either:
1. He's pretending to be moronic.
2. He's fed correct information by NATO and publishes the opposite to bait idiots.
He's an ethereal being on his billionth playthrough of this reality and is simply having fun.
All his predictions happen in opposite. A modern day Nostradumbass. The Oracle of Derpy.
Wonder what you'd find if you did a deep dive on that guy's financials. There's a few X dwellers like him that aren't exactly shy about their support of Russia to the point it's obvious they're paid to say shit like that.
Probably getting blackmailed because he's a pedo.
>blackmailed because he's a pedo
WTF!
Which country's spy sats can detect digits like those?!
Ah yes... Hrim-2... right....
>missing era
Judging by the UA statement, it was a combined strike of aviation and navy. So probably SS+Neptune
Sevastapool's Closed.
>x: Azov got fricked
>y: Ha-ha-ha, frick them, stupid khokhols
>x: What fricking khokhols, our landing ship azov got fricked
>y: Sheeeaat
Ah yes, the very white countries of Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Singapore.
Do we have any actual proof of ships getting hit? I want to believe.
>Hrim
It was not.
>Azov Nazis got destroyed
Puccia wins again, the west should negotiate while it's still possile
>Visegrad
David Axe has already said it doesn't matter because the new rail system supplies Crimea now, not landing ships.
sat pic of the ship.
Digits confirm
Just pour some concrete on it and it will be as good as new.
good god. imagine the seethe if these high res sat images get released
someone ordered an meat cube well done?
Judging by how Putin is calling it a Ukrainian operation, he seems intent on calming things down with the muslims though.
Looks like the Kremlin doesn't want to fan the flames of a multi-generational Russophobia among Afghani terrorists and their international partners.
Who the frick capture these guys, Rusich group?
>Rusich group
picrel, in both senses
The guy that cut the ear off was one too and he's already auctioning the knife I believe.
>Monke is genius
Indeed he is, no muslims going to dare crossing Russia now.
Muslims are famously afraid of being hurt or injured themselves in their attacks, le monke exploits this well known weakness.
>Pretty sure that's exactly what it is.
Yep, that's what pidors use for torture at least for 2 decades now
nazis, unironically.
it's fun that 2/3 of them are non-european themselves, like when rusich does a fundraiser the owner of a bank account suddenly is muhammad, or milchakov is literally a slanted eye subhuman, etc
>slanted eye subhuman
a russian?
das racist
>he seems intent on calming things down with the muslims though
>videos of Russian police torturing Tajiks gets posted everywhere
>those videos gets to Tajiks
>???
>another mass shooting in Puccia

>BSF headquarters obliterated with 2 storm shadows
>This building just burned a bit after 3
How?
>just burned a bit
Look on the left, it's all twisted and fricked. The interior probably collapsed.
>The interior probably collapsed.
I don't think so but it's definitely burnt out.
do you have any post-strike footage?
>do you have any post-strike footage?
I'm looking but... I can't tell.
russian chat says they got 3 for 3, not sure how credible this is.
>Ivan Khurs
Didn't that one already get hit?
The Ivan Khurs was recorded by a USV detonating near it. Whether it actually damaged it is unknown. But if it did and it got hit again, then that's more damage.
Bream status?
>Grim-2
