If I saw someone on the trail with 5 separate bladed weapons I would call the police honestly. Can't you larp in your backyard or something?

the thing is, i see the point you're trying to make "consumerist culture just buying, not using bla bla" but you just come off like a gay that things people have to prove anything to you. Proably because you're so insecure that you feel the need to get approval from anyone. "look im an expirienced well-seasoned outdoorsman, look how used my tools are but i know how homosexual this'll sound so instead i go the other way around and assume that some stranger on the internet is not such a smart, tough and expirienced outdoorsman like me"

Moras have rounded spines. How do you spark the fire steel? Or did you put a 90° spine on it?

some dont have rounded spines, but it takes like 11 minutes with a file

The Companion does which is what is in your picture. It also doesn't look like you filed the spine down since it's so rounded from the factory that you'd have to take off a pretty noticeable amount of steel, like 1-2 mm.

I still use the striker that originally came with the fire-steel.
It works just fine; no reason to change.
The cord it came with didn't work so well though. I changed it to some plasticord maybe 10 years ago. Still going stronk.

    >having dirty shitty tools is.. based!
Yes. I don't go on LARP expeditions and get my tools dirty. When I need them, they will be pristine while your saw will be rusted shut.

They’re knoife collectors. The proof of the HRC and powder metallurgy of the knife is printed right on the box where if goes for safe keeping when it’s not being stropped.

I have a fiskars I bought because it was the only thing available. I'm actually impressed by it. It's not fancy, but it holds and edge and gets the job done.

I almost exclusively use them for gardening/landscaping.
My axe has chopped more chickens than wood.

I specifically beat my tools with rocks and keep them smeared with mud and shit at all times so that random Staples employees on a Belarusian macrame forum will believe that I go PrepHole
