its their selling point and they are the only ones who specialize in lefty ars

I'm left handed and poor so I just use an ambi safety/mag release on a standard lower. Almost every upper has a brass deflector so don't get one of the gimmicky left ejecting ones.

The stag 15 is the one i was looking at but theres not much content to view on that rifle for some reason. And i dont know anyone with a stag so i have no point of referance as far as quality amd reliability

i have a normal stag and its fine. its a workhorse brand around the same quality as spikes, colt, bushmaster. just a no bullshit basic ass milspec ar seller thats existed for years. they do have fancyier option. i mean yours wont be milspec cause lefty but yeah. its fine.

        This.
I bought a Stag as my first AR right after the Clinton AWB expired--not a lefty, just a standard model. It's given me zero trouble though I have since upgraded the trigger and have several more uppers for it. They're not fancy bling shit that people post on tweetybook for attention but they're solid. Same as Aero, really.

That's rough, buddy— there's no economic solution other than to practice northpaw

Yes there is. Just shoot the gun. The AR is perfectly fine to use left handed.
      >reload
Your hand is already going there to strip the magazine. Just hit the button.
      >bolt lock/release
      Faster than right handed
      >ejection
Not even a problem since the gun has a brass deflector

basically this except I think ambi safetys, ambi charging handles and ambi mag releases are g2g for everyone. I just hate the long the wings on most of the ambi charging handles.

if you buy a lefthanded ar15 does that mean you have to buy lefthanded ammo too?

Yes, and that's why should try your hardest to not be left handed.

most of the major complaints about stag are price related like oh you could have just bought a xxx for less instead of stag but its not like you have a choice with lefty

    Stag.
But as a fellow southpaw standard AR works just fine. Works even better with an ambi drop in mag release and an ambi bolt release.

      >an ambi bolt release.
Why the actual frick would you want that when the bolt release is already on the correct side for a left-handed shooter by default?

From one lefty to another, don't bother looking for lefty guns in general, you limit yourself too much. Just get an AR or an upper with a brass deflector, and if you truly can't cope, you can easily swap charger, safety, and mag release for ambi/lefty versions.

They're a waste of money. Most guns are fine for left handers to shoot. The AR platform is honestly better for lefties than right handers. On non-ambi lowers, I don't even use the left hand controls because the right side ones feel comfortable enough.

How is it better for brass to be hitting your forearm and to occasionally feel some residue from gas ejection getting on your face?

        >How is it better for brass to be hitting your forearm

I don't wear short sleeves when I shoot, so I don't have this problem. And even if I did, hot brass isn't that distracting unless it ends up your shirt.

        >to occasionally feel some residue from gas ejection getting on your face?
I wear eyepro, and I honestly have never noticed gas leakage even without it. You sound like a b***h tbh, so maybe you do need lefty gun.

I bought a Rock River Arms left handed AR about 8 years ago. Ran a frick load of that Russian Tula ammo through (several thousand rounds). I didn't have any problems with it until after I used way too much shitty Russian ammo. If you want a true left AR they work but will never be high tier.

"True" left handed ARs don't exist. People who suggest stag forget that the lower isn't left handed and literally nobody has ever made a left handed lower. Just get an ambi lower and look hard for those because most companies cannot do true ambidextrous as they are ran by actual morons and an ambi charging handle

Also a left handed upper is dumb, there's a brass deflector for a reason ie YOU

Pic related here's a "gucci" left handed friendly firearm courtest of LMT

Yes, quit being a fricking moron. Left handed ARs are entirely pointless.
