Lads, why is there two Rossiya - Special Flight Squadron aircraft up in the air at the moment along with half a dozen NATO aircraft (including refuelling tankers) and why did a US aircraft leave Iraq to fly to Poland? Why is one of the Special Flight Squadron in Bulgarian airspace and the other seems to be heading there too?
Not seen this much activity for awhile and certainly not seen official Russian government special aircraft flying into Europe.
It probably fly for expelled diplomats.
And the reason there are multiple Stratotankers refuelling shit and there is more recon aircraft up than usual? They're checking on those? Maybe something is happening behind the scenes.
>And the reason there are multiple Stratotankers refuelling shit and there is more recon aircraft up than usual?
You mean like the last few months since this shit started?
> Maybe something is happening behind the scenes.
If there was they would all have gone cold on the transponders and you wouldn't even know they were there.
Again, there hasn't been more than two up at one time, I know, I autistically check, for a while. Yet at the moment there is about four up + the refuellers and the Russian government official aircraft going over to Bulgaria. Also why the frick would they turn off their transponders if they're on diplomatic shit?
There is another one up too. Following same route as the one in OP.
>there hasn't been more than two up at one time, I know, I autistically check, for a while.
Those are only the ones they let you see.
>Also why the frick would they turn off their transponders if they're on diplomatic shit?
I didn't say shit about diplomatic flights.
this, bulgaria btfo'ed (probably all if the vatnik keeps her word) russian diplomats
Probably going to Serbia
It's literally Putin's own aircraft so must be something super important. Interesting.
okay, I tracked it further. It's Lavrov flying to Sofia.
They banned him landing last month so I dunno if they think this is any different. Why is there two up if it's just Lavrov?
What does it matter if there are two or whatever? Diplomatic missions sometimes call for lots of staff.
Because they're big ass aircraft? Because you won't need that many staff for some routine shit?
How the frick is this routine? They are flying 70 people back to Moscow.
Yes that's my point, well done.
Also this aircraft is registered as Ukrainian and seems to be heading there... weird.
It's landing in poland so whatever
Yup. They are getting out expelled russian diplomats from Bulgaria. Hence the amount of planes.
kek, looks like they're circling the airport, transponder just went dark
RANGER1 sounds like american transport
there's also a polish civilian plane at the same spot. Curious
aaand now all the transponders are off
