Is there a more brave and heroic act than killing your CO if they issue suicidal orders? I mean, just imagine how many lives would have been saved if every time a frontal charge towards machine gun fire was ordered in WW1, the fat frog, angloid or kraut CO got a bayonett in his lungs, while all the unit kept iron silance and never gave out the fragger to be courtmartialed. Imagine if instead of getting slaughtered, the VDV guys popped their CO and surrendered. Ugh... so mich lives lost because people aren't brave enough to blast these pieces of shit.
I really hope I don't ever become your commanding officer.
Hey, keeping discipline, maintaining order and issuing possibly flawed orders in middle of battle is one thing. Planning out suicidal attacks and sending men to carry them out is another.
For isntance, I'd argue that no matter how stupid the order, if ots the middle of battle, you MUST follow the CO because they are more trained than you for crisis management like that, and hesitation will likely cost more lives than executing a bad order fast. However a CO sending you out to charge the German machine gun fire from the safery of your trenchline deserves nothing more than a bullet between his eyes.
This. A bad call is an entirely different animal than sending your men to die for the sake of sucking your commander's dick. Glory hound officers deserve nothing less than sharing their tent with a hot frag.

Terrible thread
COs in Vietnam learned this lesson the hard way.
Was reading tbhe other day that in officer training they now play clips from the movie Platoon, specifically to demostrate how not to be an officer.
WTF was prob with the Lt in Platoon?
He seemed like a pretty good guy. He told Barnes in private "I've got to be the one giving the orders to the men" so it wouldn't frick up the mission or Barnes authority because that was important but put Barnes on notice.
Also, I think it has to do with Wolfe lying about the shit that went down in the village, pretending not to see anything when questioned by Capt Harris.
If you think about it, Lt Wolfe is actually the villain of the movie. Through his failure to command respect of his troops and his incompetence in decision making, he essentially creates a power vacuum where his own authority is non-existent.
A vacuum Barnes and Ellias, as typical alpha males, fight to control. If Wolfe weren't such an inept pussy, and actually fit for his job, there would be cohesion amongst the men and increased chance of survival.

US and AFU will never shoot their officers like you morons do
WTF is in his right hand?
combo dagger revolver?
why does benedict cumberland have a dagger-pistol and where can i get one?
>dagger-pistol
Imma make a flat dagger/light to attach to underside of Glock etc that will also work as hand held light/knife.
Idea is flat will also serve as anti-flip port. Light will be under blade to protect from blast and also deflect light downward rather than up in eyes.
I guess would also work on one of these.

Nah officers should be able to flog enlisted peasants and send them as rabble.
>mfw i'll never be a political commissar in a blocking unit, executing scum like OP
>kill CO

Ok so...basically the war never moves foward and you're stuck killing the younger and younger soldiers that get promoted to CO since the older CO got killed..
>enemy is in trench
>enemy REFUSES to move
>YOU have to retake your territory/push foward
>literally no other way to move out without casualties
>literally no other way to move to them without attacking with a massive force
>stay in trench with the newly promoted CO not doing any suicidal orders
>die to diseases and trench foot after spending time in the same shithole without movement for over 3 months
