Kenya has an air force and can conduct accurate decapitation strikes within contested airspace?
Good for them honestly
Kenya is one of the less shit-tier African nations.
Kenya is part of the African Union mission to stabilize Somalia. But right now they’re in a transmission period of drawing down troop deployments and missions Afghanistan style.

Why?
Al-Shabab commits attack in Kenya, possibly without any Somalian involvement since northern Kenya has plenty of AS members.
Kenya responds by blowing up legitimate communications towers in Somalia NOT run by Al-Shabab just because AS members might own a cellphone.
Kenya will never stop being moronic. It'll be a complete failure too just like their war against AS for over a decade. They along with Uganda and Ethiopia should have never invaded and toppled Somalia when it had a unified government in 2006, only for them to end up partnering with most of the same leadership minus AS who went from an insignificant Salafist faction to practically running half of Southern Somalia. Kenya went from no AS or Somali violence to single-handedly opening the floodgates on themselves.

As far as I've been able to tell, Somaliland is painted as the bad guy in order to maintain the post ww2 status quo in Africa, not because they are actually bad. It's all about protecting the legitimacy of the silly abritrary borders of made up territories that were turned into countries after colonialism fell out of fashion instead of actual right and wrong.
Most African air forces have some strike capabilities (Su25 and whatnot) and helos. A good chunk have fighters, of which around a dozen can actualy afford to maintain and fly them.
Kenya has around 15 F5 and is in the process of getting second hand attack helos and light drones, which is frankly pretty solid. By contrast Somalia has some 50ish piece of shit Mig17 museum pieces they got for prestige and that don't even fly.
Above that you have places like Nigeria, SA and most of North Africa, who have full-sized 3rd to 4th gen fighters in consequent numbers and get to regularly train with the US and UE air forces.
>conduct air strike
>decide to do it on useful targets(communication infrastructure)
>it works
fricking kenya has a better air force than russia lol
Black folk > Ziggers
Quick rundown on the politics of this coonery?
Africa looks exactly as I thought it would.

To be fair, Russia would be able to knock out Somalian infrastructure too.
