>We remind you that last year the Ministry of National Defense carried out the program of providing self-propelled howitzers. The acquisition is officially named "155 mm howitzer system".
>Romtehnica, a company part of the Ministry of National Defense, started a restricted tender for the purchase of three 155 mm howitzer systems of Battalion level, including the related ammunition, contract with an estimated value of over 4.1 billion lei (without VAT), according to the announcement published in the Electronic System of Public Procurement (SEAP). So, about 1 billion euros.
>What does the purchase include? The acquisition includes 3 155 mm howitzer systems (54 howitzers + ammunition + logistical support). 54 howitzers will be purchased at the battalion level.
>Sources of DefenseRomania confirmed to us that the second phase of the tender, the submission of offers, ended on January 11.
>So, the bids have been submitted. One of the offerings is that of Hanwha Aerospace who went further with the K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzer offering and most likely the automatic and tracked K10 Ammunition Resupply Vehicle (ARV) variant, and of course the related ammunition.
>Thus, Hanwha is in pole position for providing the Romanian Army with self-propelled 155 mm tracked howitzers of the K9 Thunder type.
Why is Romania opting for K9 instead of Panzerhaubitze 2000 made by its closest ally, Germany?
Korean stuff is just better. Korea is most advanced nation on earth. Culturually, scientifically, socially. Many nations could learn from them.

In South Korea, the government of President Yoon is allowing a *21.5 hour* work day.
Korea is moronic in their work policies. Nobody can do 12 hour days AND remain effective, at least not for long.
Even now half of their "working hours" is wasted for nonsensical bullshit because the culture does not allow people to go home before the boss does. It's weird how capitalist greed somehow keeps people thinking "More work hours -> more productivity" despite it being shown time and time again that it just does not work that way.
What reason is there to live, if you can't... you know, LIVE your life? If your every waking hour is just rat race in a hamster wheel, you start thinking about getting out of the system. Escape. Or destroy the system. Or destroy yourself.
And then they wonder "Why people don't want to have kids anymore?".
They should bomb NK for it.
I don't like them and hope their race disappears
Why?
I'm tired of looking up "Sexy teenage Japanese" and the results are Korean
>Korea is basically just Japan if the Japanese stereotypes were true
What does a 21.5 hour day achieve? Are the companies so cheap that they make poor frick salary worker Kim do 21 hours and won't do actually productive shifts like four shifts of 12 hours?
It achieves nothing except reduces workers rights. Now companies can offer unresonable employment contracts, take it or leave it. It's just maximizing greed.
And yes, it's pretty much religious tenent by now that increasing work hours somehow magically increase productivity. It makes no sense, but the people who think that way have lost their grip on reality and what grassroots work actually is. They are the kind of people who want to limit how many minutes workers can spend in bathrooms.
Greed. Greed is what ruins everything.
>21.5 hours a day
Worst Korea? More like laziest Korea!
>Muh capitalist greed
It isn't capitalist greed, capitalists figured out 50 years ago that higher pay and less work hours make profits go up. No one with a white collar job should work for 12 hours, this is just asian work culture taken to the extreme.
probably lower cost and faster production.
Same reason they buy KIAs instead of BMWs
you mean that they buy kia to look like a reasonable person and not an butthole?
>Why is Romania opting for K9 instead of Panzerhaubitze 2000 made by its closest ally, Germany?
It just says that bids have been delivered, and one of them is the K9/K10 package?
Nothing in here about selection or who else has delivered bids, or am i missing something in the gypsy translation?
It literally says it's in pole position with a 0.1% penalty for each day of a delay.
>It literally says it's in pole position
Pole position of what? Delivering an offer? The selection&evaluation process so far?
tube artillery in this day and age?
it's missiles all day every day.
Dude the gypsys are 70 years behind in everything as is, this would be a massive improvement.
>one of the biggest defense industrial centers in the collective 'west' is located within a stones throw of Chinese and north Korean missiles without any nuclear umbrella.
Feel like this is an oversight.
Although it helps link Europe to the Pacific which is good I suppose.
>>one of the biggest defense industrial centers in the collective 'west' is located within a stones throw of Chinese and north Korean missiles without any nuclear umbrella.
Australia will be more than willing to relieve some of that burden from them.
Chasis is already produced in poland. In 2026 whole spg.

All their deals are up in the air at moment as south Korea didn't plan out the loan structure and are now suddenly trying to claim Poland should've known they needed to secure loans themselves.
SK is really shooting themselves in the foot, if they don't provide the loans they prove they're an untrustworthy defense exporter. Having these deals fall through with Poland would likely give other nations pause when dealing with South Korean arms deals.
No wonder asiaticshill has been so quiet lately.
Somehow, asiaticshill returned
Rapant seething about germs and japs is the easiest way to identify it(and I say it because asiaticshill is a bugman)
Kek, figures. asiatics are more rapacious than the chinks and nips combined.
I see it as part of negotiations, because the projects are moving forward despite some hickups.

Hopefully Romania can pay for it, Poland is currently finding out how shitty theses south Korean deals are when they go back on the loan agreements and frick you over then basically just respond to the accusations of frickery with
>well they should've ironed out the future loan details before agreeing to the first set of loans
>moderate weapon beating over-engineered, overpriced kraut bundewaffen with a slightly better performance
Wow, who would've guessed?
>cope pasta
imagine my shock
Proof?
Haha can’t wait until the cons come home for everyone believing in this great Korean arms deal meme. It’s going to be great. Everyone will find out why Japan hates those people so much.
Screencap ahead of their inevitable return to M109's?
bump
> typical everyday japs only hate the US and the UK
Nips hates the west and especially the US only, they generally even prefer chinks to US marines and soldiers who have killed over 100,000+ jap civilians without any repercussions due to de facto extraterritoriality imposed on the conquered
This doesn't even include the tens of millions of nip pussies forced to service US marine bbcs
Romania buys same stuff Poles do but with couple months of delay.
Romania doesn’t buy European iirc like F-16, Abrams tanks etc since they’re brown invaders from India
