at this point, I have my practical guns (semi-auto handgun and an AR), so I am just buying funs that are cool rather than practical. My next purchase will be a Colt SAA, simply because they're neat.
>Bought myself a new 9mm conversion kit for le boolpulp >Haven't had willpower to drive 2 hours out to check it out. >Remember I can take it into indoor ranges cuz 9mm >Remember that indoor ranges are lame as frick now and even if you prove your skill and ability to handle a firearm you still can't even do double tap drills >Still haven't checked it out >mfw
Hyper blue PNW state. They're all lame even outdoor ranges here are super fascist about what kinda fun you can have. If you don't got a fudd or neo fudd harassing you at a drop of a hat you'll be having a wonderful discourse with a RO that HAS to MOG you over not minmaxxing or some arbitrary 'im better than you' energy. >You don't NEED to do double tap drills, just hit the bullseye once bro >You don't NEED a magazine past 10 rds at the range so leave those assault high cap mags at home sonny >Your optic won't hold zero its old and not a new gen optic (I was using a fricking ITL Mars sight, not some chink-sun shit or airsoft crap) >We can bore sight your rifles so then they can be accurate >meanwhile I'm plinking fine aside from an experimental mosin project I've been tinkering with passively
And no, I had 0 top end shots on target meaning there was absolutely no chance to hit the indoor target mechanism. They just really wanna look for problems.
that sucks. I'm in a battleground state so our range is really loose with the goofy rules but it's full of morons. I think they let em in because they can charge them for shooting the ceiling/floor
That sucks. In AZ my local indoor range is so based. A bit spendy but it’s run almost exclusively by young ex military chads. All the ROs are young dudes just vibing and always ready to help you out. When my buddy and I were shooting his Mossberg 500 for the first time being total goons, one of them came over and showed us the best way to hip fire it and stay on target, then accidentally left his VERY expensive looking pistol at our booth. Love this state.
>be me >want to buy a few more mods for my rifle and maybe some bulk cases of ammo >also want to buy one or two more guns for fun >when I want to drop a few hundred bucks on ammo or mods I stop myself because that money could buy a whole nother gun >but when I look at guns to buy, I stop myself because I can’t justify the purchase because I haven’t even gone shooting in months. >stuck in endless loop
we're all real proud of you
Frick ya mudda
No, frick your mother instead.
Right after I frick ya mudda.
I'm about to buy a $5.1k carry gun and shoot 250 rounds through it every weekend until the day I die.
>buy 5.1 kilodollar carry gun
>use it in self defense
>police take it as "evidence"
>"what gun? just be happy we didn't arrest you"

I spent 900 dollars on a binary trigger just for the privilege of telling people it's actually not full auto and the little F is entirely for show.
I just use my clearing bucket so I don’t have to leave the house
I dropped nearly $3k on an SL8 and optic in September 2021. I have shot it exactly once. That was the last gun I bought.

where's your indoor range? Just curious. Indoor joints are so hit and miss, I got two in town that couldn't be more different.

Some indoor ranges won't let you bring ammo. Forcing you to buy their 'handloads' (just nerfed Sami shit) so you can't "damage" anything
Which I call bullshit given its a fricking bullet. It'll frick up whatever unless we talkin Airshit BB velocity.
the range I go to will let you bring your own ammo, but if you rent one of their peices you gotta buy their ammo, which I can't begrudge.
tbh charging morons for missing is an incredible business angle. Especially given how many dracos they get through there.

i shoot from my couch right out the back door. what are you a bunch of citygays?
Enjoy the lead exposure moron
his dick must taste sweet tho
are you to imply that he's some kinda ladyboy
Where do you expect that to come from in any meaningful quantity?
I think he means to say that the couch is covered in lead dust (probably?) and the shooter is rolling around in it.
the base of FMJ bullets that are exposed to propellant gasses at thousands of PSI and thousands of degrees. also the lead styphate on primers.
my grandpa shot a buck out his door when an injury temporarily put him in a wheelchair

I only shoot when I have the chance to get to my family's cabin deep inna woods. Being rangecucked sounds horrible.
