Guys i realized that i can't live doing civ jobs, I've done some while doing uni but I'm constantly bored, i find myself spending most time studying military tactics or equipment, reading books on that etc
Even if I despise my state (italy) I decided to join the armed forces, but since they dont do anything I will try to join special forces hoping that they are actually deployed, I will do trials for 185 RRAO.

Do you know anything about them? Opinions?
The only tip that I can give you is to start rucking/hiking tomorrow. Same as quitting smoking and any sugar drinks. Your life will be ten time more pleasant.
idiotic neverserved or served for a bit and unironically still cant get over bootcamp copes
were all happy you "persevered" but if you want to take monster zeros and smokes away from career troops, youre gonna get laughed at
Yeah whatever fat frick lol stop malding
its the fatties that years later still harp on about bootcamp actually, most people get used to it
again, never mind people that stick around in proper units for a career, AS IF a fricking scribe for example, is gonna be a super fitness freak nonstop doing le rucks
I have visible abs btw, just so you know "my" fitness level, and I smoke weed all day
We don't care about your story kid
I thought the Italian Army has been pretty active over the last 10 years
Unless you are an actual genuine fascist i don't suggest you try to join folgore, they'll kick your ass. Join a centauro brigade and ride that steel steed all the way to ukraine so you can snipe t-62s from a mile away.
the *talian sof fears the yugoslav reservist reclaiming the ancient Slavic land of Trieste
Worked with a handful of Italian army guys over seas. They’re decently trained and equipped. Competent soldiers. I got the impression from them that “this whole thing doesn’t really have to do with us, we’re just here for the lulz and to kill some muslims/terrorists”. Their rations were fricking amazing compared to American MREs. It seems like some of their light infantry units have a decent operational tempo.
I say go for it. Their Col Moschin special operations guys have been spotted training with a new rifle for a year or so that’s very obviously a Beretta (the flash hider is a beretta exclusive flash hider) but other than that nobody knows anything about it.
terrone?
you sure it’s not the ARX160?
>not an arx?
100%
No sono di milano ma il meme (che in realta e vero) dei terroni nell esercito è il motivo per cui non voglio andare nei reparti normali perche mi sembra che non facciano mai niente e siano composti per la maggior parte da gente che e li per il posto fisso
How did you work with them?
Doing what
I dont smoke, I like rucking but rarely do bc I live in the plains
An Italian Air Force officer I did some training with right after commissioning was one of the hottest women I've met in my life so apparently you guys have that going for you
I fricking hate the Carabineri. I almost had to break a bottle across this one buttholes head cause he was being a drunk prick. Italian army is pretty good though, I enjoyed drinking with them.
I hate carabinieri too, it's all terroni enforcing Italian shit laws while arriving 45 minutes late when you actually need it
I had one of them imprint on me like a puppy because he watched Full Metal Jacket one too many times and thought I was SF. Like no dude, leave me alone, your English is shit and the brits are cooler than you.
Carabinieri are the reason I’m still waiting for my loicense after 3 months
frick them
yeah I was just reading into it, apparently they want something in .300BLK
SF are full of terroni as well
did you see those videos from that jacked zoomer who underwent SF acceptance trials and made a video report? would you be able to do it?
Yes I watched it, no I wouldn't I have to stay working out again, before I was ripped asf and did amateur boxe training 5 days a week, now I'm decadent, but to do this I would start training again
you better get training the
personally, I would probably fail the 5km in 20m run
If your motivation is "work is not for me" than the army will not help, even less SFs.
I had your same intentions when I was 16, they look cool.
If you still want to join remember a bunch of things:
>Becoming a coasty is more based
>Col Moschin has better knifes
>Both SF and secret services are full of fascists and the latter works with the Mafia
>GOI is the best you can do, learn to swim and go there
>Get better at calisthenics and running
Rao is good and since you can join directly from vfp1 it's quick to join but 2 or more years of training are awaiting you and it's not going to be easy, you will probably fail. Also nowadays they are not so active so it's not like you will get to do something any time soon. Even if more boring NOCS is probably easier, try that.
How do you know all that? Did you serve?
Lol no, we are on /k/, I don't even have guns.
I just Googled it when I was interested, years ago, and I am going by memory.
Another good option would be the REOS (Italian 160th) if you like helicopters.
Tbh unless there is a war max I would do would be joining the Capitaneria di porto for a year once I finish my degree, supposing I do not miss the age limit.
Dude, you already posted this like 3 months ago, it sounds like you will be sitting on a hill all day and watching other people have fun.
Your choice but don't post this every 3 months lol
What does the hill thing mean?
Well 3 months isnt that frequent
Also he literally posted it after the Italian army finished recruiting so he will have to wait even more.
you'll spend the first few years being bored just like civ life, the army is not going to spend money training someone that might as well leave in a year or less, just be mentally prepared for that.
the army is for the most part a giant safety net for hopeless terroni who use it to get access to other branches or cozy do-nothing jobs.
other than that the 185th is one of the rare excellences of our armed forces so if you make it through you'll definitely do cool stuff.
buona fortuna.
>Guys i realized that i can't live doing civ jobs, I've done some while doing uni but I'm constantly bored, i find myself spending most time studying military tactics or equipment,
lol
just lmao
don't do it you'll hate your life. If you're bored doing uni,AND hate your life, imagine what will happens when you'll spend most of the time raking leaves and taking orders from barely literate morons.
t. former army
Why barely literate morons officers?
What branch did you serve in and when?
Not him but Jesus Christ bro
I hope you are not OP otherwise you literally woke up one day and said "imma join SF".
Frick man, you are not gonna make it
No that's not the case, I've been pondering this for years but never acted on it
