Alright I will let you in on this shit. I used to live in the general area Paul does for about 20 years from the 90's to the early 10's and it was absolutely infested with violent drug addicts with a lot of guns. They would almost always cause issues and in general be scum if they were walking down the street they would try to fight you, if they were driving down the road they would tailgate you and sometimes take pot shots near you, if you were alone in the woods good chance they would just shoot you for the frick of it. They were absolutely insane and while they still exist to an extent they are no where near as bad as they used to be probably because most are dead or locked up.
This doesn't even get into the literal nazi militias that did drugs and were generally pretty violent as well, although by the 90's the FBI burned most of those guys alive or arrested them.

I'm not an expert on the topic, I can't even read Hebrew, but from what I understand the grammar is very weird not just for the the time period the text was written, but for Hebrew generally. My interpretation of what I've heard is the original Hebrew text probably specifically banned laying with your father and your mother, but some later person copying it thought that implied that men having sex with other men was acceptable when it wasn't incest, without making the connection that the passage was also banning daughters from "uncovering the nakedness" of their fathers. The person copying it turned it into an awkward run on sentence in an attempt to clarify, and then other people copying it added extra bits or removed bits to try and make things clearer.

Alright I will let you in on this shit. I used to live in the general area Paul does for about 20 years from the 90's to the early 10's and it was absolutely infested with violent drug addicts with a lot of guns. They would almost always cause issues and in general be scum if they were walking down the street they would try to fight you, if they were driving down the road they would tailgate you and sometimes take pot shots near you, if you were alone in the woods good chance they would just shoot you for the frick of it. They were absolutely insane and while they still exist to an extent they are no where near as bad as they used to be probably because most are dead or locked up.
