>spetsnaz just means "special forces",
Well, now everybody knows it means 'special' in the "Rides the short bus to remedial toilet training at the trailers behind the elementary school.'
Before someone brings it up, I am aware SPA has been a thing for a while, it's just these shows loved to show off all kinds of new wunderwaffe systems.
I remember the episode with the PzH2000 talking about the automatic firing solutions it could do to have multiple rounds impact the same target simultaneously.
Didn't they do an episode on the Excalibur artillery shell? I remember watching a segment about it somewhere on the military channel when it was still in early testing or something like 15 years ago.
I also recall this so I'm sure it must have been Future Weapons

it was future weapons. an artillery shell capable of reaching thirty miles out, turning in mid air, and still hitting within one yard of the target was an amazing piece of tech.
Well tbh individual soldiers could be top notch but if their commanders are dumb that's not going to save them. You could be literal Rambo but if your commander tells you to charge an MG60 across open field you're fricked
Agreed, the Tonga Tonga incident with the Green Berets being wiped out by floppies really shows how much we over estimated the US military and Russian Military. They both suck.
LOL classic episode. The performative Spetsnaz guy doing Russian ballet while dual wielding Saigas got the GB's so frickin heated. "Bro I'd just SHOOT him." And Slytherin Studios(lol) kept going "No, no, I've never seen anything like that! That's worth 4-5 kills at least, throw it in the battlefield data!"
spetsnaz just means "special forces", what special forces? mvd, fsb, army, navy, marines?

What a blast of nostalgia.
I don't know, dude, Ukrainian spetsnaz looks kinda cool. Their A-team is sick.
>NLAW
>Javelin
>Muh integrated battlefield network
>MLRS
>Self-propelled artillery
>Tiny drones
NGL though, 2000s era popmil has taken some Ws.

F.
Mack will live on in my nostalgic heart forever.
didn't he literally become a gay pornstar?
no he did the usual thing of doing military training for all sorts of shit and then he died of brain cancer
holy crap dood is that jawko willinx?
Was this that "versus" show that had the spetznaz guy fight the other guy with a spade?
I miss the military channel so much bros 🙁
>that period in the early 2010s where everyone on the internet endlessly jerked off Russians for being 'so cool'
> it turns out only Anglosphere militaries or African bush wars are actually cool

This show was entire fictional, but kino once you acknowledged that

Then he shot one of his instructors.
