F-15s suck dick in dogfights. Their record is mainly from good countries with good missiles fighting shit countries with 3rd gen planes. F-15 is not that great. It's more of a bomber with good BVR capability.
Ok. The F-15s that I worked around violently raped dissimilar aircraft in BFM. The only time they were marked was when it was a new pilot or scenario specific rules were in play like your enemy had to come from above and you may not use radar but they may.
Eagle is an energy fighter, Horney is a geometry fighter, F-16 is also an energy fighter. The thing with the eagle is it does well up high where its large surface gives it additional maneuverability compared to aircraft like the 16. Same story in ww2. Fighters who tried to engage bombers at altitude were outmaneuvered due to insufficient surface area to work with the thin air. Eagles soar high anon, the heavens are it's domain. Lesser aircraft can dwell below. A good eagle pilot does not sacrifice altitude for energy unless they are sure of the kill.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the best use case would be to make them focus on anti-missile and anti-drone sorties in the back, which would free some AA systems, that could be moved closer to the frontline.
