They could be kinda useful as really shifty SPG's with the ammo they god from Iran, but that's about it.

those drone zoomers all get to become tank aces too, if those rumors of massive stocks of FPV drones are even half true

And? It still slings shells right? It can still put an HE shell into a building where infantry are hiding while being immune to everything but the most modern Western infantry AT weapons. The tank is unironically fine. It's probably being used only at checkpoints and as a sturmgeschutz for supporting infantry. The tank is unironically fine. Also modern shells can be fired that can penetrating the modern Western tank and it can be used as light artillery platform. A tank is still a tank and Russia has thousands of these so it's fine. The tank is unironically fine. It's much better to use up these old shitty tanks on rope a dope defensive actions before using the thousands more modern t-90s and t-14s. THE TANK IS UNIRONICALLY FINE.

I give it a few hours of being in n operation until something internally fails and it needs to be towed out or abandoned.

Whoa, we're holding onto that cope for the T-34s! You're jumping the gun on this one.

      >posting fake r*ssian cope to stir a backlash when 'dumb HE throwing bulletproof piece of shit is still better than a Lada' is a legit argument and will probably postpone Russian collapse by 1-3 years
Come on now. Stop shitting up the board.

the T-55 could be penned by the M27 LAW, so this pasta was stale before it was ever typed

In case you are actually being serious about this: Soviet Union considered T-55 obsolete design by late 1950's.

there is no modern tank that can be frontally penetrated by a LAW or RPG-2

      Are M72 LAWs “modern”?

It's worse than that. A lucky M20 Super Bazooka round could penetrate the front of this POS

A regular RPG-7 would take it out. It's only saving grace is that it'll be less likely to throw a turret the way the autoloader tanks do.

Because i can't imagine would send anything other then T55AM as the rest doesn't even have range finders i think.

Anon, they don’t give their soldiers socks. Why do you think they’d make sure their 70 year old tanks have rangefinders?

T-55A. No ERA bolts, no cheek armor, no extra antennas, no climate sensor, no active IR sight, no laser (or coincidence) rangefinder. No grenade launchers. No glacis armor. No refurbished tracks. No side skirts. It could even be a fricking T-54M

Someone email this to Scott Ritter. According to him there were no T-55s going to the front, because Russia was the only country prepared for this war

Commandeered means stolen hungarianon. The word you want is commanded. How was the tank?
