Not officially, although Wolski has some serious sources. He stated before official reports that we will send t-72's to Ukraine, also knew before everybody else that we will send Krabs.
So there is a big chance that this also will happen.

Polish M1A2 Sepv3 hasn't been produced yet. Information is about ex-USMC tanks that sit in storage and could easily be transferred.

no, only voices that PT suddenly vanished.

I do agree that it would probably be USMC Abrams.

vanik show where 800 of your tanks that you send to ukraine is now..

        [...]
can you see these when they are incoming and gtfo your vehicle in time?

Only with fair amount of luck without helpers, there are systems that warns you that your tank is being lased by it, then you should drop smoke screen to save your ass.

I honestly don't know why Abrams haven't been sent to ukraine, the USA has got like 4000 old M1A1s in storage and even they are superior to anything the Russians have

Maintenance heavy, no means to repair damaged units, requires some serious training to make the actual use of.

        Anonymous

Also heavier then most Ukrainian bridges can handle.
It would be of more use to buy off worst korean T-80's and Moroccan T-72's.

          >Also heavier then most Ukrainian bridges can handle.
That's why Abrams cann deep-forge without becoming a death trap - unlike eastern bloc tanks

Same as any heavy western equipment; most UA crews are trained on their pre-war equipment.

      Anonymous

Frickoff heavy, frickoff thirsty, frickoff maintenance hog.
Not only would you need to train crews, you would need to train -trainers- for the tank itself, maintenance, repair, systems, etc. You then have to get those parts, systems, fuel, etc there. The logistical footprint of a tank is fricking enormous relative to most other things on the ground.

The best time to start building the logistics and knowledge networks needed to support a tank system was yesterday. Second best time time is today.

if you see the missile being launched and is at a fair distance away yes, otherwise your only indication is the active defense systems if you have them

Are we going to get another week full of polish tourists grandstanding about their great moral victory of sending soviet garbage only after getting superior western equipment in exchange for it?

It takes time to train ukies into western tanks, which Ukraine does not have, so they send soviet ones.

I hate the abrams, it's the american tank by definition. Its power lies not in mechanical ingenuity or finesse, but rather but the biggest gun on the most armored chassis you can find and strap a frickton of electronics on it, because you have the money to do It. It's a big ugly gas guzzling mess that only americans are able to operate because it'd be so fricking expensive for everyone else that doesn't have twelve zeroes on the mitary budget.

Lmao this level of buttblasting. You can't even make a proper tank. Take this beauty, it's being sold everywhere, it's compact, reliable, easy to use and doesn't need a cordon of tank trucks to make ten kilometers. Meanwhile you can't sold anyone of those monstrosities and thus you are forced to steal oil wells to make money out of war, instead of just selling arms like everyone else

I don't know if You're trolling, but that thing is a real b***h to upgrade. Made with the industry contracts in mind. Replacing armor inserts is b***h, balancing the turret is b***h, putting in new cables is b***h.
          Meanwhile Abrams
          >Slap in 120mm? No problem.
          >140mm ? Here's Your CATTB, King.
          >More armor? New NERA? Just put that plasma torch to work, and wel
          >Works with every and each APS with ease.
          >When need arise, You can replace 40 years old torsion bars with hydropneumatic on-arm suspension. Just say a word. The word is Dollar.

Ok, there are also some rumours that those tanks are only replacement for already sent t-72's, and PT-91's stay for now, but we'll see, no one official confirmed or denied anything.
