Poland is getting all the HIMARs as conventional MAD, they don't need recon to go with them because the whole point is poweplants, ports, factories and refineries don't move and if Russia started shit with Poland all would burn in the opening hours.

In 2021 Russia would be the clear #2 but they are realistically #3 today, they are taking on a Ukraine backed and supplied by the entire free world, keep in mind that even before all of the gibs to Ukraine that Ukraine was already a t20 military

        > backed and supplied by the entire free world
less than 10% of a single year of the US' military budget committed
less than 5% of a single year of the US' military budget in actual military aid vs. financial support
less than 2% of a single year of the US' military budget in aid delivered so far vs. promised aid
all of these figures based on US' military budget in 2021, among the lowest of record per percent - if the US increased back to Cold War spending the defense budget would over double
this doesn't address how 2/3rds of Europe has barely sent any aid to Ukraine, leaning heavily on the UK and Germany and Eastern Europe to do it instead
you are absolutely clueless (and gay)

Two things can be true at the same time, Russia's early performance in Ukraine was disastrously bad, at the same time it's not like Germany or the UK would do much better in the long term.

asiatic cope and delusion at its finest

Not only does the JMSDF have far superior surface and submarine forces but they have the world's second largest ASW aircraft asset that doesn't appear in those displacement charts, which alone is capable of wiping out asiatic subs within a few hours. Not to mention the huge underwater submarine detection infrastructure even the US Navy in the region has counted on since Cold War era. asiatic subs have no chance of getting close enough to launch their shitty Iskander clones with ~500km range to Tokyo, and even if they could, that's nothing, considering how Ukies shoot down more Iskanders and Kinzhals like turkeys almost every day with the donated 2 Patriot batteries, and the JASDF alone operates 24 Patriot batteries.

Any real war between Japan and Korea will lead to yet another genocide of asiatics by samurai like the one where 1 million or a quarter of asiatic population were wiped out for the lulz in the 16th century which continues to cause you to run to the moronic cope naval myth. It's simply laughable that asiatics delude themselves into thinking they are in the same league as Japan or other chad great powers/former empires like UK, Germany, and France in military, technology, or anything, somehow looking down on hispanic, while you yourself are just as much of colonized rapebabies as them.

A real war between rok and japan would result in a genocide of japanese, the firepower and readiness gap is substantial even without getting into the least trained south korean civilian probably would qualify as an elite soldier in japan let alone the 300k elite world class soldiers in rok, it would look like a european power colonizing an african nation to include the genocide parts

      ROK 60 F35As

Japan 34 F35As/Bs after one japanese pilot blacked out on a routine training flight, crash his F35, chinese/russians salvaged in the greatest F35 security breach of the past 50 years, and got himself killed in the process

ROK has something like 3x more F16s and purchased 240 KF21s, the gap between South Korea and after is cavernous and larger than the gap between the US and South Korea

There's only one poster on /k that thinks japan is even in the top 20, op is delusional nfw they are in the top 10

Japanese subs are based on German sub designs

You could have posted all that in the OP and it would have saved us the trouble of giving you the benefit of the doubt. Not giving you (You).

Spain will probably get F35s, Turkey and Greece will get them when they are 2+ generations behind the latest exported fighter

Why didn't Spain get F-35 anyway? No money? Also, France finally admits that they can't into fighters beyond Rafale and buy F-35 when?

          Why expose your bias weeb?

F35 operators operational as of today:
          1. US: 450
          2. Australia: 48
          3. South Korea: 40
          4. Japan: 34
          5. Israel: 30
          6. Netherlands: 28
          7. UK: 27
          8. Italy: 20
          9. Norway: 10

Future orders are pointless as every country is claiming some ridiculous pipeline such as Canada with 100+ F35s, will believe it when it happens and how the F35 stacks up against whatever is the best available then

YOU are biased and lying asiaticshill.
Actually ROK doesn't have 40 operational F-35A but 39, because a crash-landed airframe hasn't been operational for more than a year, which is about to be junked as they can't afford repair costs that's $76 million lol
            https://www.koreatimes.co.kr/www/nation/2023/06/113_351540.html
            https://eurasiantimes.com/crashed-trashed-f-35a-stealth-fighter-that-was-hit-by/
Even if they save it and place an additional order for 20 F-35A this year, the size of the fleet remains the same 40 until at least 2028, considering 4-5 year lead time.

Meanwhile in Japan, they are flying 37th airframe, meaning they have at least 36 airframes, taking into account the one lost to an accident, and new airframes are being assembled in the Komaki FACO as we speak, so it's safe to say their fleet will be bigger than ROK's by the end of the fiscal year.

Also, Japanese orders are very reliable, they've already paid for 83 (63 As and 20 Bs), invested like 15 F-35A worth of money in the FACO and MRO&U to build and maintain them locally, showing their commitment to F-35, and procurement is accelerating thanks to the new buildup program. Which is also why their orders are on the LM website while ROK's plan for another 20 isn't.

Russia has nuclear subs, if they wanted they could sit off the coast a few thousand kilometers away from an adversary and just start lobbing nukes, on the US has more, China, UK and France have this capability but at a far less inventory, North Korea claims it and probably has some makeshift version but irregardless can't challenge Russia's nuclear capabilities, that's it in the world today

France is great at beating on african shitholles but the moment a continental military gives a mean mug the french invariably bend over a spread cheeks

I was guessing at force projection rather than ability to defend and fight neighbors within easy reach of logistics. France is really a gamble, it's unclear how much of their experience in COIN would translate into war, but they do have a history of successful force projection.

And African shitholes have better commanders than Russians; Paul Kagame could have at least captured Hostomel, with the ghost of Hasan Djamous at least being able to get armored vehicles into Kiev.
