Found in my Garage.
He’s sprayed wet to keep him still, (antenna stuck together)
What’s giving me hope:
1. Wings fold parallel to body(termites seem to fold flat on top?)
2. Head shape seems to be different
What do you think /diy

some kind of brown lacewing, maybe? pretty harmless to my knowledge, just kinda spooky
>mayfly
Head shape matches up, except the wings are different.
>brown lacewing
YES YES I THINK THAT'S IT THANK YOU. Yay no termites!!!
mayfly
why is it called mayfly? it may fly or may not?
pest control anon here
termites have straight antennae and not very long either.
looks closer to a mayfly like the anon above me said.
If you want a more accurate answer gonna need at least the general area of your state (North America) or country (Europe).
and even then its really just an educated google search for "<area> winged insects large antenna"
>mayfly
>in october
frick you
correct, it is a mayfly
but it may fly in october
Looks kinda like a female Dobsonfly.

Careful, she's got a nasty bite.
except dobsonflies are among the largest insects you will ever see in your entire life
