Is there any two nations that could equal SK + Japan?

Exclude the US, because we can probably take rest of world at the same time if we wanted

The only combination that would come close is UK + France + Germany but still think SK + Japan takes it hypotethically

That's not how the burden of proof in debate works. You should have learnt that in school.

Simply quoting a post and calling it dumb (or in this case, announcing a misclassified report) is not "a debate". You don't deserve more than you put in.

You know that scene from Red Dawn where they're asking the pilot dude about a billion screaming Chinamen and he splashes his coffee into the fire? Yeah...double that for China + India. The thousands of M30A1s bursting over entire corps worth of Indians and Chinese would cause an environmental disaster as their corpses decayed and leeched gutter oil and concentrated curry essence into the soil wherever they were slaughtered.

Its funny how SK and Japan are memed as powerful solely on their toys when between them they have absolute 0 recent combat experience, even relative to China.

South Korea fought only one war in their history and they were the weakest party in it.

SK has more combat troops deployed post ww2 than any country even excluding the Korean war, over 500k

Japan has none but neither does germany

Yes for a fucking staredown with North Korea.

The only action they got Post-Korean War were Korean Marines in Vietnam, and they were nothing but Japan-tier walking war crimes committers.

Lol no you don’t know japanese, exclude the 1% of crazies and the 99%+ thinks they are the same as koreans, korean men always top every dating poll not to mention most of the billionaires, athletes and big businesses are ethnic koreans

Even abe and his assassins family were hyper pro korean

Despite all the butthurt, SK has a deeprooted colonial mentality, Koreans always trying to associate themselves with Japan to feel superior to others is a dead giveaway.

Its not the Japan denying partnership, but rather SK. SK have repeatedly refused to cooperate with Japan on like missile defense sensors for threat against NK.

SK's presidents since the fall of their dictatorship had largely been anti-Japanese to the point of using Japan as a punching bag for all things wrong with Korea.

Meanwhile SK has military budget larger than Japan, almost 3x per capita, and 2nd largest weapons development programs in the world about 3 times Japan in aggregate, this according to Japanese news sites

It's amusing because the dictatorship-era presidents were generally pro-japan, owing to Japan paying them reparations and pumping a lot of industrial and economic support into the country. The issue is that the government pocketed those reparations and threatened anyone who complained with prison, so now that they're a democracy no one in the government wants to tell all of the angry wartime labor victims that their own government dicked them over. Now Japan makes a convenient scapegoat to deflect criticism toward, and japan gets upset because they thought they settled this 60 years ago, and the cycle continues.
There's also idiotic shit like this
        >nork fishing boat drifts into joint korea/japanese fishing zone
        >both parties respond
        >ROK destroyer and coast guard cutter arrive
        >JSDF P-1 arrives
        >ROK destroyer paints P-1 with their fire control radar for some braindead reason
        >P-1 tries to contact destroyer on three different emergency frequencies
        >ROK destroyer ignores them and keeps fire control radar on them for several minutes
        >relations soured for years because ROK claims their destroyer was threatened by a maritime patrol plane

Its not even an issue. The wartime reparation Japan paid were used to build up South Korea as a whole. It wasn't problem during the dictator rule because Japan was the one helping them build up post-war economy.

It was only a problem afterwards when the post-dictator wanted to paint everything their dictator did as negative, including normalizing relations with Japan. So they made up the whole issue of reparations for political points. Its just a sad state of internal politics.

Yeah the problem with trying to get anything long-term done with korea is that it seems every successive president fucking despises the last one and everything they did. I get it with Yoon, because Moon was a legitimate clown, but I'm hoping the domestic political side of things gets their shit together eventually.

Yoon wanted to become closer with China/NorthKorea, so he antagonized Japan and US. Yoon was hailed as the leftist "Bernie Sanders of Korea"

You mean Moon? Yoon is the former prosecutor who ran on a "fuck Moon" platform. Yoon seems to want to make amends with Japan and get the trilateral teamwork thing up and running again but a lot of Moon people are giving him pushback.

        >Its not the Japan denying partnership,
At the request of the US, to keep the US designed regional security framework going, obviously. The US needs Japan as the sole rear base in the region when shit hits the fan in Korea, and Japan understands it, doesn't deny trilateral partnership so SK doesn't get steamrolled by NK and China again. SK needs the framework more than anyone else, and yet they've been shitting on it for childish reasons, which was overlooked because SK isn't seen as a full-fledged nation. Other than that, there's no reason for Japan to team up with Korea, to satisfy Koreans with power fantasy like this. I mean Japan alone is an outstanding great power that singlehandedly curbstomped the entire Asia and most western militaries they engaged except America, what makes you think they pick SK instead of fellow great power chads?

I don't get why people talk up South Korea and Japan as military juggernauts all the time. The only major conflict South Korea fought in the past century ended in a stalemate despite having aid from multiple superpowers.
Japan's only decisive military victories came against Russians and Chinamen
