Is there any state or country you can live as a complete wild man with no payments whatsoever if all you own is property?

Is there any state or country you can live as a complete wild man with no payments whatsoever if all you own is property? I know Alaska has no property tax but I assume there’s a catch. What about warmer states or other countries with no property tax? Do you have to pay grow and harvest on it or some shit?

Nope, every state has property taxes including Alaska. There's virtually no place in the world you can hold allodial title to land, your best bet to live wild would be to have been born into an indigenous tribe living on land protected by the government. Or live on somebody else's land by their permission.

        >How does it have property taxes if everyone says it doesn’t

Its complicated. There are boroughs that don't, but it is not statewide. This is a good starting point on your question.

Is this bait or do you not know this is Rhode Island. Delaware is super light colored on the map just south of NJ.

I was starting to freak out a bit. I've driven through Delaware twice. I knew it was one state over from mine.

I see this question pretty much every week. Short answer, even if you move out to slab city or similar, you will still need money to pay for things to live.

    >if all you own is property

You can either be a homeless nomad with no property and all the freedom in the world, or you can own land. Pick a side. Taxation is almost as old as settlement, but when we were wild and free we didn't stay in one place.

      >Taxation is as old as settlement
no, that's part of the fiefdom system and is mostly a western artifact. Property taxes didn't exist for normal people and the nobles payed taxes, not the serfs.

Also, Humans turn nomad only after they have depleted a regions resources or when they are expelled by a stronger tribe.

The caucaus mountains, for example, have been continually inhabited for thousands of years as have villages in chyna. Fun fact the caucus used to be heavily forested and it only took about 1000 years to turn it into a desert.

You could camp in National Forests in the southwest for free. The catch is you're only supposed to camp 14 out of any 90 days in any given ranger district. The districts are pretty big, so to stay completely legit you'd have to travel pretty far when your 14 days are up.
