Is the Bersa Thunder 380 Plus any good? How does .380 compare to 9mm?

Is the Bersa Thunder 380 Plus any good? How does .380 compare to 9mm? Or should I just save and buy a Walther with less capacity? I really like the aesthetic of the pistol.

Shut up, /misc/troony. Shitting on the moronic OP isn't being triggered.

You got b***h wrists or something? 380 is literally the weakest round there is next to a 22. No stopping power at all. And the gun looks ugly as shit too. Get a Desert Eagle like a real man.

.25 and .32 are considerably weaker.

The thunder plus is an improved PPK. It's a good pistol.

I would've bought one if my local shop didn't also have a Beretta 84F for the same price.

I carry the combat plus on the daily. It's super small for a pistol carrying 15 rounds of .380. Shoots very well though a new one does have a stiff break in period so be prepared to manipulate the safety and assemble/disassemble it to smooth it out a bit but other than that it's a 10/10 little gun. Cant' go wrong with it.

Just picked one up. I intended it to be a back up gun to my usual 9mm carry piece. After handling it I almost like it more. It feels good in the hand, has a crisp trigger pull, and easier to CC than my other pistols. And yes .380 is still enough to kill and frick someone up.

Picrel is fricking hilarious. Is it OC or a parody of some classical art?

It's a very poor choice for a gun, especially a carry gun

even if for some moronic reason you specifically wanted .380, there are better 380 guns out there

Bersa is pot metal garbage. The slide will crack if you even try to cc them. Don't bother.

Bersa isnt pot metal. It's a perfectly fine weapon.

The slide is zinc alloy. It's made out of the same materials as Hi Point. It's the high point of blow back ppk style pistols. Just get a FEG if you want a not-ppk.

I’m not saying it’s a bad gun, but it is made out of cast zinc. People generally call that pot metal.

Yeah and it cracks if you drop it. It's low quality garbage. Even Taurus uses steel in their guns. It's Saturday Night Special garbage.

Its a good little pistol from everything I've seem and heard. Havent shot one but I have a friend who has shot a few and another who carries one. Nothing but thumbs up from them. The .380 you carry is better than the 9mm you leave at home

    Great little gun.
    >How does .380 compare to 9mm?
9mm is better and less expensive by quite a bit.

I love shooting my Bersa but I wouldn't carry it unless I had nothing else.
