I don't actually know what that means.
I just want a 2024 1/4 ton toyota and I can't find one because boomers ruined the atuo market with massive trucks that they commute in.
I just want a tiny ass truck I can put a camper on and commute in and they don't exist because Muh trukers prioritize bullshit.

small trucks can't be sold in the US due to mileage requirements. a 2011 Ranger, for example, would have to achieve 70 mpg to be sold today. regulations are much looser for full size trucks.

I double-checked and that figure is outdated. Although the EPA had intended to increase light truck mpg requirements up to 70 mpg by 2025, that requirement has been repeatedly softened and the required mpg for smaller trucks is only ~45 mpg today, increasing to ~55 in the next few years (2011 Ranger footprint is ~42sqft).

This requirement is still enough to make auto manufacturers lose interest in small trucks though. As I mentioned, these requirements are much looser for full trucks and SUVs.

I'd say its based. Combining camping and off roading can create some memorable adventures. This is coming form a mid 20 year old recent college grad that has been fried off weed and booze for 5+ years. I waited every year until around May right near or after the semester had ended to go off roading/camping. It was incredibly frustrating having an overly capable truck and boring gravel roads to ride around on. Honestly used 2WD 95% of the time. Never used low range. Though you can have some fun from time to time finding a side trail to explore.

I never commented on fat people specifically. But on that point: fat people deserve to get real and lose weight, they don't automatically deserve to sit next to me on a plane for 12 hours and ruin my flight.

No, I won't move over more for you as I walk past just because you're bigger. I won't even think about it in fact because I live the life of a thin person -- I will brush past you and be confused as to why you just touched me, because my spacial awareness is geared towards that of a regular-sized person which is a reasonable position to hold. You will just have to deal with that sadly, because it is you who has the extra bulk and I aren't necessarily going to account for it, since it's not my problem.

Yeah I do, as does 99% of the world on any given day. And I shouldn't have to pay extra for a roomy seat because I'm well within the parameters of an economy seat, so I don't. I take the gamble of getting a fellow reasonable-sized person coming to sit next to me, only to have to sit there vicariously sensing the inner shame of the fatass next to me who was once comfortable enough with themselves to get a regular seat, but who now pervades my space not only with their arm-ham, but also with their palpable inner shame.

Lose weight instead of being an overweight identity.

I want people with any type of problem to feel more power in dealing with it, I'm just tired of this gay earth at the moment. Please let me apologise and humbly encourage you to do right for yourself, and feel right about yourself, because of it.

Overlanding is a lot of fun and a good way to get into nature/ take normies with you. There are rapidly diminishing returns though, for the cost of some of the meme stuff like roof top tents you could buy an excellent backpacking tent and a 7 day expedition to Alaska or something. If you are hitting trails in a newer daily driver you are naturally going to be cautious. Some of the best over landing spots are boring trails and some of the best 4x4 trails aren’t for camping. An older 4x4 that is cheap to work on and you can throw regular camping gear in the back of is the best option unless you love burning money- basically car camping.

I don't understand why bug people hate it. It prevents massive road networks and infrastructure that cost millions to maintain (see mt. Mitchell) in nature, all so you can justify a subaru. Also, offroaders, guns, and fishing pay for most park services. At this point, at least on the east coast, we need less paved roads, more gravel/offroad areas and charge climbers/backpackers the chance to camp and use nature. Oh, and also tax their gear, just like ammo. I offroad, hike camp, mountain bike, etc, but these welfare queens really need a reality check of who pays for their nature when they leave their ipa microbreweries and why they think they should have any valid say in offroad trails staying open.

  14. 3 months ago

Of course. And I will cut your fsggot lock with bolt cutters when you nigs gate all the roads. If there is a dirt road I have every right to use it not just authorized personal or what ever cuck language you speak.
I'm already forced to sleep in my pickup due to cost of living and the only places I enjoy is places I can drive to listen to waves and camp in my bed. It's literally all I have, not everyone can afford a boomer home. Nor do I even want to, but these fricks will block everything til there is nothing left.
