Idahoan here.
Its amazing. If your going to camp or hunt, go to copper basin, wildhorse or the pahsimeroi valley. Those are my favorite places, but if your coming id reccomend those.
i have never been west of the Mississippi. is there really a lot of wild land there? could I wander from idaho to new mexico just camping along the way? or is it still a thing where you're more arranging to go to a forest and camping there and then heading to your real home and most land is fenced off or farmland? people make the west sound like a paradise
Idaho anon here, lots of undeveloped land, but also full of roads. Wether it be forest service, camping or residential, it's almost impossible to get 10 miles from a road, so I would say no real wilderness, just lots of beautiful forest and desert.
But also frick off we're full. The average Idahoan is now a callifornian immigrant and we all fricking hate them because they only send their crazies wether they be right or left leaning.
Also frick off I'm still right about the 10 miles thing. Even though it's pretty much completely inaccessible from that direction because of a rocky mountain range and 13 ft of snow 8 months out of the year.
But yeah "of no return" is the other part of the name. That's because of the massive packs of starving wolves moron.
None of your c**ty rant changes the fact that what you said about no real wilderness was objectively wrong. You're also wrong about the ten miles thing. Frick off back to California moron.

Shit I forgot to attach my photo to this post. Anyways. Right a out the 10 miles thing.
Their entire state is a cucked up shithole. >but muh rural Oregon tho!!! muh desert!!
Rural Oregon is still held to the same laws that Portland votes for. It doesn't matter if you live in a place like Paisley, when you're held to Portland's laws and decisions.
wild how the same people who want to do away with the electoral college are the ones benefiting from blue cities running roughshod over red states.
>tfw you realize they want to do this to the entire country. >let's do away with how the senate votes too, you know, to protect democracy. >oh and while we're at it, let's impose term limits on the SCOTUS
it's all so tiresome. and thank god 114 is held up. Though win or lose in court; the lefty progressive filth in PDX/salem/eug will just try again in 2 years.

Oregon is also the state that tried to ban hunting, by the way.
There was a small enclave in Hayden years ago. They were buck broken and now the state is mostly cali-boomer homosexuals.
North Idaho is stunning forests with lots of open space, but its all National forest or logging company owned so land is super expensive.
Can you recommend any specific trails? Any nice alpine lakes I could hike to? The Frank wilderness and the Big horn Craigs look really nice but its very treacherous to drive to those access points.
Wrong board, politics and current events discussion belongs on
I'm talking about the state, that's just a random picture from google image search.
It has meth heads and barren wastelands, yes. But it also has stuff like this
Also has the largest dunes in the U.S.
Who woulda thought, right?
ngmi
you ngmi either
At the end of the road none of us mi. Best to let each walk their own path. However short that may be.
gay
>is it just baren, meth junkies wasteland?
that's most of america
>Nip nong, ching chang chong
It's horrible, never go there.

You were born and raised there but don't know about the Frank? Calling BS.

but it looks like there's over 10 miles without a road to the north, and probably west
greetings from oregon, what can be done about the californian menace?
>oregon
literally worse than california
Nothing since your gun laws are now cucked lol
Their entire state is a cucked up shithole.

>they'll eventually win.
Oregon is also the state that tried to ban hunting, by the way.
It's a wolf reserve moron. You wanna go hang out of a wolf reserve? Also you can only get there by plane.
Wasn't Idaho prime militia country and white power or is that long gone?
Long gone. That's just what all the silicon valley ppl flooding Idaho go there because they think.
There was a small enclave in Hayden years ago. They were buck broken and now the state is mostly cali-boomer homosexuals.

>They were buck broken
what happened?
Not as nice as West Virginia.
I'm gonna be in Salmon a little bit next summer. Hows the camping and fishing in Salmon Challis national forest? Are there better spots elsewhere?
Some of the best in the world if you get far enough in to get away from the crowds. Have fun man.
Can you recommend any specific trails? Any nice alpine lakes I could hike to? The Frank wilderness and the Big horn Craigs look really nice but its very treacherous to drive to those access points.
Clearwater river has great trout and salmon. Lake Coeur d'Alene has great fishing too, but you need a boat and summer tourist season is miserable.
It's fine. Better than lil baby Californians that are scared of everything make it out to be.
Was Owen Benjamin a positive for Idaho?
