No.
You feel more alone in a crowd.
Going into nature gets you solitude.
But also frick OP for making a thread in English, with a video with an English title, but the video is in fricking moonspeak with captions disabled.
Absolutely frick yourself.
This should be a bannable offence.
c**t.
This. Solitude is a good thing. The only time I ever felt lonely in nature was when I was on popular hiking trails or campgrounds where everybody around me was chatting and laughing with each other. Now I try to minimize putting myself into those situations.
Same.
I avoid popular trails and mountains.
I try go places few others do. I really enjoy the solitude.
An added benefit is you see way more nature in these places owing to the lower footfall causing less disturbance to wildlife.
strangers and aliens in human clothing make you feel alienated and lonely
friends and true people (as rare as unicorns) are what everyone needs, but being alone is the more accessible alternative
based American idiot. so confidently dickish yet so ignorantly wrong. either that or you flagrantly demean other English speaking nations. God bless this country.
I've never been lonely. I've been in a room -- I've felt suicidal. I've been depressed. I've felt awful -- awful beyond all -- but I never felt that one other person could enter that room and cure what was bothering me...or that any number of people could enter that room. In other words, loneliness is something I've never been bothered with because I've always had this terrible itch for solitude. It's being at a party, or at a stadium full of people cheering for something, that I might feel loneliness. I'll quote Ibsen, "The strongest men are the most alone." I've never thought, "Well, some beautiful blonde will come in here and give me a frick-job, rub my balls, and I'll feel good." No, that won't help. You know the typical crowd, "Wow, it's Friday night, what are you going to do? Just sit there?" Well, yeah. Because there's nothing out there. It's stupidity. Stupid people mingling with stupid people. Let them stupidify themselves. I've never been bothered with the need to rush out into the night. I hid in bars, because I didn't want to hide in factories. That's all. Sorry for all the millions, but I've never been lonely. I like myself. I'm the best form of entertainment I have. Let's drink more wine!
I meet a lot of rainbow women when I'm crossing hiking trail. >hello, I'm vegan. >I want to save the world from climate change >Yes, we just moved to the countryside and bought a second home >I quit my job and go back to uni because all they care about is money. I want money for free and save the world. >yes, we just bought a second car. I feel guilty about it but I need it because I need to commute to university to save the world. >yes, my husband still has to work. >bye
They are not lonely. They are brainwashed and dead inside. Solitude is a man's fortress.
I mean, what do you mean by cure?
Because I enjoy hiking with my dog alone with no other people very much.
I absolutely adore the feeling that there's not another single person around me for miles, and sightseeing.
All the company you really need is the one of a loyal doggo.
If you want sex go to a hooker.
I dunno lads Ive been inviting some friends to come on some tougher hikes with me, I just like laughing. It's been very rewarding even just seeing that they WANT to join me, let alone the experience of it itself. It's nice to share all these moments that I've otherwise had alone (pictures never capture it)
No.
Going outside is best done alone. And loneliness and being alone are different things. You can be alone without being lonely, and this is something women struggle greatly to understand.
For women, especially the post-lockdown TikTok generation of Instagram women, LARPing as someone who likes the outdoors is a way to meet strong fit men. Everything about their lives is about interactions with other people, but that's always been true of women.
For a man, being outdoors is a way to get away from women and other people.
When you are lost in the wilderness, deep in the woods or high on a mountain, many miles from the nearest human, it can be isolating, but you are also surrounded by nature, i.e. surrounded by yourself, and you feel at one: you are not lonely. For you are nature, and you are alive, and there is nothing to do but experience it.
surprised at so many people saying it is not a cure to loneliness.
It doesn't REMOVE loneliness but it certainly does make you at peace with being alone, or even enjoy it.
Only women and low IQ men get lonely. Read a book, homie.
