It’s nice stuff but I wouldn’t buy it full price.

I really like their gear so I don’t mind paying over the odds a few times a year. It is overpriced though. These days the quality varies wildly from ‘almost as good as their old shit’ to ‘borderline fraudulent crap made in China that just trades on the brand name’.

I just had another one as a quick snack. I’ve had more this week than you have in your whole life. Delicious and all for ME.

Isn't this the brand that people always shit on because it moved from the US to China? It suffered a notable decline in quality.

Powder River Outfitters is better for the money.

Powder River and Cripple Creek make really okay stuff. A lot of it looks goofy. They don't make a lot of plain coats or jackets because almost all of their stuff looks like it came from a Taylor Sheridan movie. A lot of their stuff is bulky like Carhartt too.

Yes. It moved a lot of production to China, quality went down, and prices increased. I've got a couple of their jackets and bags from before they left Seattle and love them. Don't know how bad the decline has been, though.

It was before they moved production overseas, cut corners by using plastic zippers instead of brass and shittier materials, and still jacked the prices up substantially. I have a made in the US fly fishing vest. I checked out the newer made in Bangladesh version that's more expensive than what I paid for mine and the materials and build quality is noticeably worse

Looks pretty much like Swandri in NZ.
Warm, durable, bloody expensive. Every farmer here has at least one.

Are you asking about the wool macs, like in your pic? Filson makes a lot of stuff, some good, some not worth the price.
    The wool is top quality.
