yeah, ill be doing the camino frances in september to dodge the hottest and bussiest period. Will be taking a tent too to bivouac every other day or so
I once had a patient who did the Camino yearly with the priest whom she was having an affair with. I feel like I should be able to make a joke there but I just felt sorry for the chicks husband.
Two completely different things, Camino isn't really hard to do, you don't need to pack supplies since you can find some place to eat every other hour if you choose to. You can sleep in shared bunkbeds for less than $10 a night, sometimes you walk on paved roads too.
It isn't a challenge but at the end of the day you still have to walk the distance and are PrepHole all day so it's good. Plus there's also, albeit disapering, some romance to the walk, there's history to it, there's the cultural parts, it's very sociable so many people like that, and at the end of the day there's also the religious part for those who believe.
Is it a great adventure where you'll be seeing wildlife, snow capped peaks, treacherous ravines or fast white waters? No.
Is it worth? Personally I say yes, sharing a beer after a day walking with someone you just met, that has arrived from South Korea just to walk it is pretty cool I think.
Those hostels get nasty with all the eurotrash. Definitely check for bedbugs. Lift the sheets, check under the mattress and in the creases. Like 1/10 beds have them on that filthy trail.
Don't care for wiki links bro, just take a bath lmao.
I speak from first hand experience and not something I've read somewhere wroten by some moron. Never caught anything, you're just weak if you did.

Okay patchouli. Oh great reservoir of cimex culture and ardent defender of bugkind. You have convinced me. I will now not check the disgusting euro hostel rooms as a proof of 'strength'. Truly, you have shown such masculine character by your Internet toughness and ability to carry disgusting parasites wheresoever you may go.
