Is a Sig Sauer P320 M18 a good gun for a first time gun buyer? I really like the aesthetics and color of it, but also read that the handling is very good since it's pretty big and weighty.

It's fine, but I'd honestly get the Beretta 92 or M9A4 (it's the same basic thing just looks different).
Cabelas had a 92fs made in America I ALMOST got but ended up getting pic related.. funniest part is I went to just buy a pocket pistol lol I'm still debating on getting it because it was new for $650 I think?
$650 is standard, $550-600 or less I'd jump on though.
I still might pick it up tomorrow along with my little LCP that I planned to get in the first place. Never knew some 92fs were made in America. I always thought they were Italian. Are they reliable, though?
AFAIK no difference between USA/Italy production berretas outside of proof marks and other case markings
Berretas are incredibly reliable though, they're not almost 500 years old for nothing.
Find a p320 without the godawful integrated optic plate and rear sight.
talking about m18 but has a picture of a m17
are bots really this moronic? the interwebs died a long time ago bros, its time to go PrepHoleside...
I just clicked on first picture I found
well you fricking homosexual you're too moronic to use this dead internet
if it floats your boat.
you should rent/borrow a couple of guns and shoot them first though. what looks good on the screen might not feel good in the hand.
It’s a fine gun. Try shooting striker fire vs DA/SA to find out what you like more
Gun is solid enough OP, just get a later production model that doesn't fail drop test
It has decent modularity for a pistol
I hate strikers so it's always gonna be a P229 for me in the same scenario, but if you want the Marines gun just go nuts
Everytime i read a parroted post like this from a noguns in 2022 I laugh.
No. If you're going to buy one, get the one with a manual safety.
I own a p320c
You don't choose the handgun the handgun chooses you
It's okay. If you get it for cheap it's a good first gun. It's got a lot of accessories available so if there's something in particular you don't like you can probably change it. A lot of accessories are overpriced though, mags alone run $50
True af. I bought a p320c with 4 extra mags for $500ish. I bought it specifically because of the 4 extra mags.
Yeup, solid, realizable, and easy to take down. Plus SIG has a good warranty.
Glock is the meta and always will be though.
Don't get a bretta they're fricking awful pistols
>Don't get a bretta they're fricking awful pistols
This is delusional
The modern M9A4/92FS is pretty damn incredible.
Beretta didn't lose the recent handgun trials because the SIG pistols are better, they lost because the SIG pistols are cheaper.
Objectively the Beretta probably is a better gun.
I do like me some Berettas. Benellis too.
M9A4 or 92FS + a Benelli M2 or M4 is my go-to home defense setup.
Have you seen the new Italiano smg from Beretta?
I saw it, but I have no personal desire to own an SBR or SMG.
I'd enjoy taking it out to a range for some fun though.
I personally like SBRs and find little value in PCCs/smgs, but I couldn't help but like the pmx.
You forgot,
>shoots when it feels like it
from your list.
>Shoots goblino cops in the leg without even leaving the holster
Sounds like a feature to me, truly America's pistol
