Improvised weapons

I found a really interesting PDF about 'homemade' weapons used by various insurgent and criminal organizations.
https://smallarmssurvey.org/sites/default/files/resources/SAS-improvised-craft-weapons-report.pdf

Some of them are really well made.

Imagine having any of those things. You deliberately create weaknesses and then are surprised when the enemy exploits them.

You do know that battery backup lights for power failures are a thing, right? https://www.homedepot.com/p/GE-Power-Failure-Rechargeable-LED-Night-Light-11096/202203452

God I thought this was that xray going around Twitter where that gay got an MRI while he had a butt plug with metal components up his ass.

I was about to post "that's clearly not in his ass" then I read the text. fricking lol.

Calling this fake, not because why would anyone, no matter how fricking perverted would shot up to an MRI with a plug in, but because manufacturers tend to advertise it as a plus when a silicone plug is "weighted". You can really feel the weight. So I'm told.

more like he was claiming ignorance and covering his ass (or what's left of it) because if he admitted he knew it was metal, he was liable for the bill

Fore some reason I imagined the song
how deep is your love song by the bee gees
playing in the background of the MRI procedure.

No way you would survive this. The MRI would pull the things straight through your organs.
The thing can suck tattoos with iron oxide from the skin for god's sake.

depending on how much iron is actually inside it it's realistic. his whole body got probably shot out of tube.

Maybe I've read it somewhere, but the metal insert really gives them a heft.

Well then the manufacturer can just point at their box, where it's going to be clearly marked.
