I've had a PSA AR-10 for 4 years, barrel is stainless steel. No issues really, it doesn't like the more blunt hunting ammo (Remington Core Lokt) and the takedown pin is a little loose (pokes out halfway if you mag dump, never actually caused an issue though).
Who WANTS to build a gun for cheaper if the end result is shit?
In all things in life there is a bare minimum to spend to get what you want, if you tell me there's a way to do it radically cheaper than looking for sales on what I know is quality I'm going to be looking at you sideways
I didn't imply that at all. .300blk is not the same cartridge as x39, anon.
Although I do find myself wonding if that Tulashit would be stable at 300y from a 10.5" 1:8. Bullet lengths could be different though necessitating a different twist rate, idk.
Based. I got sucked into a few of their recent sales and bought 3 blemished lowers for $150 and two upper kits for like $800.
Not sure what I'll do with the 3rd. Maybe an AR9 or 300 memeout pistol.
Serious question: why do ARs range in price so much? I doesn't even make sense. A Pioneer Arms AK with a cast trunnion and shoddy rivets retails for like $680, while a WASR with a forged trunnion and decent rivets is just $800. Meanwhile PSA produces ARs as low as $499, with precision CNC'd receivers and assembly that's hard to frick up - while high tier ARs run $2000+. The materials are often the exact same with the same manufacturing processes.
yes anon everyone else is crazy, only you can see the truth
but, someone so wise must be incredibly rich from investments, so surely your time is too valuable to comparison shop? best to just get the expensive one after all
PSA is known for quality issues though
They're also known for having good warranties and customer service.
No they're not
What if I just like nice things that happen to cost more money?
Thats cool, buy whatever you want. Guns for all.
They' make great hand grenades if your suicidal.
The website doesn't even show the stock and are all sold out.
*price

Imagine shilling for a company and not building your own
You couldn't build a cheaper AR10 for $700

Bruh. What is the used market.
I am not paying for used barrels. Other stuff, I can tolerate.
Yeah used barrels are probably burnt out
There is a point of diminishing returns and anything else other than PSA is just wasting money on diminishing returns
I'm really sorry to hear you're in financial trouble, I hope things turn around for you.
What would be a shit result exactly?
I built guns from mis matched parts and they are perfectly fine. You'd have to be a special kind of moron to frick it up
they're fantastic, literally just as good as KAC
>.300Blk
>10.5"
>120gr
>300 yards
I'm surprised it made it that far. Memegays and their stupid rainbow calibers, I swear.
> Implying dog shit Tula 123gr 7.62x39 is no longer gyroscopically stabalized at 300y

weren't you the moron from last thread?
DPMS model AR-10s are universally trash. I would take a goddamn B-model before I took a DPMS AR-10.
>aero M5 would like a word with you
Trash.
>DPMS model AR-10s are universally trash.
How so?
Because they don't have expensive rollmarks
I have a Vepr-FM in .308 bought back when they were 999.99 and it shoots better and more accurately than any AR-10 in a DPMS pattern.
ye my dad works for Nintendo too
Playing with it now.
Care to elaborate on why the DPMS pattern is trash? I don't know anything about it but have been looking at an Aero one. They seem to get good reviews
There is no bigger lie in the firearms world than then three words "Just as good"
Broke: Just as good.
Woke: Good 'nuff.
Bespoke: Work pays for it.
How much ya gonna spend to make it your rifle?
PSA gives me wood

PSA also sells the MP10 for like 1k...also a platform to start with.
^also a good platform to start with
