Imagine getting drafted for a war in the year 2023 and being issued one of these lmao
Nestor Makhno was wheeling that thing around in a horse-drawn carriage

I kind of miss the days when the War in Donbas was really limited and you saw the militiamen using WWII era anti tank rifles and other such shit
We can only hope the next Arma game is inspired by Ukraine.
I was hoping for bush war for variety's sake but it looks like we'll be back to fricking Chernarus again.
Fricking die and instead of waking up in a imperial cart on the way to a beheading it'll be waking up on the outskirts of Chernogorsk.
arma 2 literally predicted the ukraine conflict and the ChDKZ are your slav militia
Beat me to it kek, it's like Putin played the campaign and used it as inspiration.
A machine gun is a machine gun
Put an eotech on top and you'd be baseding out
total zigger death
Well don't I look a goddamn fool
TZD!
EVEN MORE TZD
okay 4 seems excessive
>4 seems excessive
Rookie numbers.
it. just. works.
>Double zigger blaster.
>Blasts two ziggers at once or one zigger twice.
I would love to own a maxim.
I mean I know it looks old because people mentally associate water jackets with WW1 but for a static defensive emplacement nothing modern has the staying power of a Maxim. WW1 manuals for the Vickers-Maxim state that a full water jacket can keep the gun cool for 5,000 rounds, that is 300lbs of ammunition fired through it. Water cooled guns are pretty incredible.
A few years ago the british army had a bunch of ammo they needed rid of, so for shits and giggles the ran the lot through a vickers gun. 5 million rounds over 7 days.

This but unironically. Yes, the Maxim is completely obsolete and has been before everyone ITT was born, BUT if you're stuck in a static emplacement and you have nothing else it'll still work fine.
If it ain't broke don't fix it. Just because it looks antiquated doesn't mean that it won't do it's job properly. If I were in a snowy trench I'd rather have a mosin nagant that can function well in cold wet conditions than a modern hk416 with a thousand gadgets that will fail once recieving a drop of rain.
A machine gun is a machine gun. Give that guy a T&E, gunner's quadrant, and a VI/QA/range table and he'll be one deadly customer.
I wonder how people look like who say dumb shit like this.
If it kills, it kills
>water cooled
>insanely reliable (arguably more reliable than any Russian firearm)
>uses the widely available 7.62×54mmR
Post some modern tacticool maxims itt
Fires 7.62x54mm
Modern pkm machine gun fires 7.62x54mm
What's the problem?
As long as it's employed in a static defensive position there is literally 0% wrong with it.
Matter of fact, it can keep going long after a GPMG bends its own barrel due to heat.
My grampa was mowing down chinks with that, its a good mg.
they had to have the biggest shit eating grins when making that
If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
Yeah imagine using a gun designed in 1918
