Not trying to shit on you op but how is it even possible to be poor in the us? Isn't there like a permanent need for workers for all kinds of jobs? Doesn't even stuff like landscaping pay like 16 dollars hour?

Then the rents adjusted. In wichita kansas for example, an apartment went from ~$600/mo to ~$1000/mo and the wages have not adjusted. People there still only make like $11/hr at shitty jobs. The result of keynsian economics is the people with access to the counterfeiting money printers extract the wealth from the people who actually work.
The US is a poverty ridden shithole where everyone , even the supposed "middle class" fricking suffers unless you are part of the top 1% .
The best way out is to just become a welfare queen imo. Enlist in the chair force, get the pension. Get the free college in data analysis and get an MS. Then get hired and work for the federal government preferentially as a "disabled veteran" and make $105-120k/yr doing fricking nothing as a data scientist for the epa or some other completely worthless government agency. Collect both pensions, never work a real job in your life.

I don't recall PrepHole being this much of a zoomerbrain hellhole.
Go for Decathlon's fleeces. Easy to clean and dry, cheap and more or less durable. I use them for mid layer mainly.
Also look for boonie hats for the sun, easy to pack and give some protection for your neck and face.
Anything made of cotton or linen will make more bearable the sweat during summer.
Milsurp clothes are a thing, if you don't mind wearing woodland tones or digital cammo. M65 jackets are useful against wind and mild rains.
