I'm not going to pay $200 to register a AR pistol as a SBR. Sorry bud.

Anon, depending on where you live, and what kind of AR pistol you own, this may soon be illegal. You should be careful of who you tell, even on an anonymouse board.

In some ways they are. In others they are not. Some states are starting to get pretty friggin' fed up with the Federal gov.

                >>Jury nullification.
                what's that?

You did it but your peers don't give a damn.
Like that guy who shot the pedo who abused and killed his son on live TV. Was that guy guilty of murder? Yes. Did the jury care? No. He got off with community service and never spent a single day in jail despite blowing a guy's head open on national TV because the jury didn't want to punish him.

If asked to do jury duty, DO NOT MENTION NULLIFICATION. They'll drop you faster than shit from an butthole.

Guns are already registered and you're finger printed when buying one. At least that's how it was in Virginia. Bought mine and then had to go across the street to register it and get finger printed.

No, that is not how it is in the vast majority of states. There is no central firearms registry, you just complete the background check

In a draconian state, yes. But not in a free state.

Turning this into an SBR QTDDTOT. What's the legality of making an Obrez? I have an extra Mosin and some extra stocks, but also I like my dogs so I need to get the paperwork right

p sure it needs to be a pistol as registered first, then it can be a rifle or pistol

if it started as a rifle it needs sbr paperwork

      It's an SBR. That's it.

If your braced pistol is longer than 26" OAL or has any of various features then it is an illegal SBR. To which I say good, mass noncompliance is the only way to get the NFA thrown out.

Is this an actual new policy or is it a shit test like with the m855 ban? What I mean is, is this concrete? I’ve hardly heard a peep

The only reason to SBR a pistol is in case you actually plan on it using it defensively, so you don't get ass raped in court. If it's a range blaster no one fricking cares, just don't get caught and don't tell boomers about it.

I'm all for non compliance and frick the NFA, but the sad reality is if you defend yourself with an illegal SBR, no one is coming to your legal rescue. You're going to get thrown in a cage and the most pro 2A groups will do is use your story for fundraising.

I thought about this too anon but since I already have a CCW I have to give prints for an Global Entry, passport and bought a gun when I lived in Washington the government already knows I own fire arms. Might as well go down the full NFA route and just give them my dick prints too. I make enough money where I can afford it. I am not going to enjoy paying for it but oh well. Hopefully in a few years scouts will outlaw the nfs and we can all have full autos sirs with suppressors with lowers you just bought cash at a gun show.

It blows my mind how you seemingly "intelligent" people think that's how it works. There is exactly 1 purpose a firearm registry exists for, which is so the government knows exactly what you have and can come take it when they decide its not in the public's best interest. No "I sold it/lost it in a boating accident", turn in everything you have listed or go to fricking prison.
      >But that's crazy Anon! A western first world nation would never do that and you're probably just a poorgay
You Black folk live next to a country where this exact thing literally happened (and is currently happening again with essentially all handguns).
