The Team 6 personnel is very different than the "standard" Seal because most of the members selected for this unit have much more experience and maturity, so things like ego or rivalries are not much of a problem. They also are some of the most hardcore operators I've met.

It's because the folks of these areas are what we call "paper specialists". They don't know much about how a operator really acts on the field but they think they do.
It is basically a "expectation vs reality" thing but when we have to work together we do by the sake of the mission.

not op but I was really good friends with our CATM tsgt. we went to [redacted] a lot for full equipment HALO training, and obviously took real guns for equipment jumps. Sometimes we would take training rounds and practice with NVGs. One time the PJs wanted us to practice as opfor on one of their extraction training scenarios; our mission was to push them off of the objective point before extraction. This was in the bumfrick nowhere desert with barely any brush; as soon as they got on the objective (crushed car), we lit up the whole countryside (they had NODs on, pitch black) with a can of slap flares and some m203 flares. They scrambled pretty fast, had a good laugh

All I can say about this is that there was a death by friendly fire many years ago during a training with live ammo.
It was an accident and because of this our training got way more intense.
