If you want to learn how to identify different models, start by identyifying key features and their relative size and shape and position such as magazine, trigger, stock and gas block (if applicable).
Also start by learning key examples of the type, AK from a AR15 or FAL, Glock(any) against M1911. KAR98 or a M79.
ID'ing is just something you need to practice how to do and slowly add to your known items over time. There are lots of firearms (shock) and you are not going to know most guns to not be a noob because you won't see most guns
