9mm P+ or higher/10mm > that limp wrist Fed round compromise on 10mm that never shoul've existed. And get something that you'll actually carry or could reasonably conceal.
Long slides are massively overrated, glocks and practically all other guns wont run hot 10mm reliably stock and many wont run it reliably at all particularly hot heavy hardcasts, 10mms also expensive and a terrible cartridge in general to learn on.
If you wanna be full autismo then get a 34 or 17L, otherwise get a 19 or 17 theyre very popular for good reason
Dad already gave me his 9mm Glock. I like long slides and 10mm fricks
Don't get a 10mm as your first handgun unless you just plan to just shitpost with it. 10 is expensive to shoot, and a lot of factory loads are anemic. Glocks are fine to learn on, but the caliber kind of defeats the purpose of a glock being light and cheap. Also, get a gen 3 or 5. Gen 4 is becoming obsolete.
Seething old. Zookers are able to get sex whenever however they like now. If I want to out and frick a girl or a femboy tomorrow I can. If I want to get fricked as a femboy tomorrow I can. You can cope.
zoomers are alright, sure they are incomprehensible ADHD-addled spazzes and like twenty seconds away from a mental breakdown at all times but they are still way more tolerable than baby boomers and their women are sex positive bawds that fetishize older men (if you take care of yourself)
t. mid-30s man that regularly interacts with zoomers

I'm thinking long slide makes 10mm worth it vice versa.
anyone besides you saying a G40 will jam on real 10mm?
Part of reason I might get a 3rd gen G20 if that is all I can get in CA for decent price (and maybe drop in a 9" barrel) is they say it will eat .40 just fine stock 10mm setup.
I've never had a single jam of any sort in about 1000 rds with the G35 and I've tried to induce with limp wristing.
>anyone besides you saying a G40 will jam on real 10mm
When you get up into the nuclear range you tend to get problems with timing. Most 10mm is on the pedestrian side, so you get a recoil spring appropriate to that. If you put in a heavier spring for the spicy loads, you might get the occasional bobble with the weak ones. If you start going really spicy, you might get the slide outrunning the mag spring.
Good news is Glock parts are dirt cheap so it's only a problem if you're moronic.
>anyone besides you saying a G40 will jam on real 10mm?
Literally Google it. If you aren't aware of Glock problems induced by running hot 10mm in general and wider meplat hardcasts(aka practically all 10mm hardcasts) then you should really probably go back to square one and do more research in general before buying
I actually own one and no they dont have any issues running hot or soft loads. Glocks are universally recognized w 10mm folks as being the most reliable of all the brands that sell 10mm guns. The g40 is sick man, if youve been lusting after it i promise you wont regret it. Bonus points: the lulz youll get showing it to your buds

buy it. I'm in CA and carry G35 at work and want a G40 but those are scalped for about $2Gs.
IMO its a no brainer that US Army SHOULDA picked Glock 10mm family.
Goes all the from CCW stubbie that also eats weak 40 or even 9mm with drop in barrel, out 9" or even 16" drop in barrel and clip on stock for legit PDW and/or 9mm Dillion at 2,000fps.
But the basic G40 would be the main piece for MPs, gate guards, tankies, urban door kickers.
All correct but armies are giant piles of morons, pistols are barely useful in a military context, and 9mm is the NATO standard.
Anyone who actually needs a good pistol for specific mission requirements and can shoot it (read special forces types) can just fricking get one out of their armoury, they aren't limited to general issue stuff.
Glock was probably the way to go but the israelites at nu-SIG and the israelites in the US government had different ideas.
Lies, depends on your MOS and or if you are an NCO or not, and unfortunately in this climate Pvt Shaniqua will be SFC Shaniqua before her second contract is up.
Do it. I had one. Sold it for a pittance when i was broke and regretted it ever since. Made shooting 10MM feel like shooting .380ACP.
A badass handgun, especially if you go balls out and put an optic, light, suppressor on it.
Do it anon. Do it! NOW!!!
I bought a gen 4 G20 one year before gaston (RIP) decided to come out with gen 5. Felt a little salty but oh well. So guess why I haven't bought a G40 yet? Who knows when or even if gen 5 will come out at all.
Just buy it
My dad gave me one of his 9’s. It’s fun but I want something more powerful and I can’t think of a non-moronic automatic pistol caliber more powerful than 10mm.
1. 6" barrel is shot for carry, especially concealed
2. 10mm is a meme, defensive rounds perform the exact same as .40sw, but cost more, sure heavy, hardcasts loaded hot are good for animal protection where maximum penetration is a premium, but there's only pike 2 loads with a JHP that have any noticeable velocity gains over .40, neither are from reputable duty/defensive ammo manufacturers ), and in BG it still doesn't even do anything .40 doesn't.
You're 21, literally the best thing you can do for yourself in your 20s is to accept that your income generating power is utter dogshit and the only fun thing you should be worried about doing is having sex with 20 year old women while you still have enough testosterone clouding your mind to tolerate the sound of their speech. Take every penny you earn and put it into passive income generating investments (used to be you could just pick any random blue chip that had a dividend and make out, but things are just strange anymore) and live like a dog. Food, rent, maybe a shitbox car if you don't live where you can walk to work. Do this until you're 30 and then enjoy actually having a life ahead of you.
Or just spend your mcpaychecks on cheap material crap and then be a burnout in the local dive bar b***hing about how shit your life is, your call.
1911 more fun to practice with and more stoppin' powah. Walther ppk more concealable. Both have better ergos, aesthetics and triggers. Get one or both of those.
BUY IT. My first handgun was a Glock 20SF Gen 4 in 2012 and I don't regret it. 10mm is a fantastic caliber and stalk hunting with a pistol is truly one of the best hunting experiences out there.
buy it
dont buy it
nobody cares, you dont have the money anyway
maybe buy it
I smile every time I shoot mine. It’s the second most autistic pistol I have behind my Five Seven.
plastic guns are trash
frick ya mudda
'03 ass homie

I can tell you're stupid because you think the Glock 40 is in .40 S&W
Do it
You are fricking moronic
No Gen 5 Glock 40 so far
>thinking 9mm +p is similar to 10mm
Yeah you're a fricking moron.
>ZOOMERS ON PrepHole
frick
always have been. i'm 19, been shitting up this board since i was 12. get fricked boomer lol
>Since 12
>Get fricked boomer
The boomer will actually get fricked (sex), something your virgin zoomer ass will never know.
Seething old. Zookers are able to get sex whenever however they like now. If I want to out and frick a girl or a femboy tomorrow I can. If I want to get fricked as a femboy tomorrow I can. You can cope.
Skibidi toilet rizz gun?
what is more concerning is zoomers with guns.
I’ve had guns my entire life, I can just legally buy all of them now.

good info and thanks.
I'd have assumed I'd be able to get some Big Name ammo and a stock Glock and be G2G against bears and shit.

The FBI can't shoot 10mm, what makes you think Pvt. Shaniqua can?
>Goes all the from CCW stubbie that also >eats weak 40
to me that is the Deal Maker. I'm told you can even mix in 10mm and .40 in the same clip and a 10mm Glock will handling it all just fine.
I'm not gunsmith but I hear a simple and predicable main-spring swap can be used to make a gun run a very wide range of ammo.
I'm also told Glocks handle not being cleaned and other neglect better than any other.
I hear the Army went with Sig due to (minor) price diff. I'm predicting in about 5yrs it will be shown Glocks woulda been cheaper TCO for reasons.

>Pvt. Shaniqua
She has a M4A1. Enlisted Army don't carry pistols unless they're carrying a machine gun or mortar tube. Even tankers carry M4A1s.
Lies, depends on your MOS and or if you are an NCO or not, and unfortunately in this climate Pvt Shaniqua will be SFC Shaniqua before her second contract is up.
pistols don’t matter for anyone outside of door kicking spooks. they all picked the 1911 for a reason and came back alive
You should buy a G41 and a 10mm barrel for it. I would personally go KKM because I like their barrels.
>first gun
>Glock Grenade
lmao you're like a reverse Fudd
Do it. I had one. Sold it for a pittance when i was broke and regretted it ever since. Made shooting 10MM feel like shooting .380ACP.

the only reason i have problems unsolved is because i choose to keep them unsolved
What grip tape is that?
Every gun owner should own at least one Glock.
>buying guns from a horse cum company
Why not buy from a firearm company ?
You are a fat hapa, someone post that pic of him with his fat gf
Buy mine from me I carry a different 10mm now
Do it or you're a homosexual
DOn't buy the glock 40 from the rap

Fingerfrick the options at the fun store. Get the one you like the most.

Buy a gen 5 mos g19 instead, use only federal red box flat nose 147gr fmj for it. Be more practical, anon.
Buy a olight baldr mini laser light for it.
Dont buy a Glonk, they are boring as hell and if you already have one in 9mm...why? If you insist on 10mm there are plenty of cool different options.
But a 41 instead
this
because 45super mogs the shit outta 10mm and 40 super (or a very hot loaded 38-45 clark) mogs the shit outta 9x25
Get it. My bro daily conceals one. Fricking Chad.
Buy a Harley while you’re at it
