I’ll be purchasing a P320 (job related - don’t bother talking me out of it) in the near future and plan on pairing it with a closed source emitter such as the ACRO P2, Steiner MPS etc.
Am I better off purchasing an adapter or sending the slide off to a third party for milling?
Full sized grip with short barrel is the most ponderously stupid design ever. The grip is vastly harder to conceal than the barrel and barrel length is the absolute last dimension you want to sacrifice. I carry a Glock 34 and I have half a mind to cut the grip down to accept G19 mags.
>The grip is vastly harder to conceal than the barrel
this doesnt matter at all if you are allowed to print ie cop/security guard.
if you can print compact barrel full grip is all benefits.
There is no advantage whatsoever to a barrel under 5" unless you are one of those guys who is so fat that you can't pull your pants up.
If you carry a pistol on your hip at 3 or 4 o'clock and need to sit in a vehicle then a shorter barrel helps since a high ride holster can only do so much.
You need to wear the gun higher. I have concealed full and competition sized guns consistently for ten years and drive more than anyone. Never causes me any discomfort. 5"+ barrel tangibly improves my accuracy, velocity, and reduces muzzle blast significantly. I still have a couple G19s but I never use them. G34 vs G19 is a night/day difference even with no add-ons.
Yeah well I've worn an original Colt Walker for 80 years and drive as a trucker across the US and even into Liberia a few times and I only have minor knee pain. Sometimes I use a Colt 1873 (7.5 inch mind you) but they just don't make em like the Walker that's for sure.
The smoke conceals your movements.
I see you Mr wear 2 belts guy.
just get the m17 model, its milled from the factory
From my understanding the factory models are only milled for Sigs optics.
Nein. It's milled for use with plates. It probably ships with a sig plate. https://www.aimpoint.com/products/mounting-solutions/acro-mount-plate-for-sig-sauer-p320
It appears from Google images those those still delete the rear site. Is that correct?
No idea, I just remember seeing the plate on Aimpoint's site. I wouldn't be caught dead carrying a sig.
P320 is milled for sig sights, M17 is trijicon milled. The other important differences is the trigger pull since the P320 comes in a bunch of configurations with different triggers, and coatings from the P320
The gun with 11 redundant safeties that can still kill you if you drop it.
get an x-series. Milled slides, better grips. X-full if owb, x-compact if iwb. x-carry is ok if you're larger framed.
with a p320 you literally only need to worry about the slide.
If you have an Acro P2 then get it milled for that.
If you're only "hoping" to get an Acro P2 then dont because you'll never do it.
Your grips can be changed on a whim and you can have different capacity sized mags.
I bought the M18 size slide with night sights, and i just change the grip size and length if im going OWB, IWB, or just putting it in a case to the range. It transforms from smaller than a glock19 to frick huge overcompensating security guard size.
You're a complete homosexual and don't deserve a whole thread. I hope you get splattered at your gay ass job, b***h boy.
