If you're doing a biannual inspection for a slumlord apartment complex, would this door seem off to you? Would you perhaps, poke in the center of it to check for door anomalies?

Yep.
JUST
depends how much he slipped me
would
It doesn't look all that sus to me, it's an interior door that someone probably had to patch up. Done it before myself, though often it's faster to try and find a prehung door that matchers the hinge placement locations. Interior doors are hollow core and aren't strong so can be easily damaged and holes put through them
yes I punched it.

And what? Purchase it and discard the entire frame and casing just to get ahold of a hollow core door that may or may not be cut to the correct height/width, may not be properly beveled for the opening, and more than likely isn't bored so that the bolt will match up to the existing strike location...?
You can buy just the door. Got three at Menards when I sold my last place to swap in for a few with pet/moving damage. Special order in a couple of days, with hinge and strike plate cuts made for me at the warehouse at the positions I needed.
Yes. You need to finish the job. Sand it flat and paint the door.
Inspection is Wednesday. Won't it still smell like paint then?
I don't see why they should give a shit if it looks fine. Just get off your ass and do it now, that will give the smell more time to go away.
I taped the hole instead of filling it
do it correctly this time
no more half measures
I can't. My brain does not operate in an orderly "DIYer" manner.
Stop being helpless and start taking responsibility. You punched a hole in your door like a sperg and now you need to take the action to fix it. Let this be the first day of your adult life.
Go suck off a israelite, trump fascist.
larper bait?
Looks like the bathroom door. Best short term bet is hide the damage. Get a pack of those adhesive hooks and hang a towel up to cover it up. Once the pressure is off go a out fixing it properly
i would probably pour some grease down the sink
