I want to make my own snus pouches. Does anyone have any tips about growing tobacco and how do I turn it into snus. I was thinking of some kind of hydroponics thing. I'm a plumber so it would be pretty easy for me to borrow some material from work. Also i have no idea what to do with the tobacco once its grown. do I just cut the leaves and dry them?
idk about hydroponics but the tobacco needs to be fermented before you dry it. special ferment starters, or small amounts of the previous batch are added to moist leaves and are kept in climate controlled rooms for a few months. this fermentation makes the Nicotine, as its not accessible in unfermented tobacco.

Hmmm. My dad told me he remembers when his dad used to grow his own tobacco. He remembers him cooking the leaves on the stove to cure it but he doesnt remember exactly how it was done. Is it even feasible for the average person to make their own tobacoo without proper equipment. real snuff is illegal in my country so im stuck buying these shitty tobacco free nicotine pouch from the petrol station and they tax the shit out of them.
Not true at all, wild tobacco has incredibly higher nicotine content than farmer tobacco. Fermenting is one particular form of curing the leaves that is done to make the tobacco shelf stable. In particular it's only really done for cigar tobacco or perique; which is used in small amounts in certain pipe tobacco blends. More typical methods of curing tobacco are sun drying, smoking or flue curing (exposure to indirect dry heat in specialty barns with attached furnaces piped through).

tobacco snus and chew is banned in my country. I can only buy those white nicotine pouches. Its what im used to. Also i cant imgaine having brown tobacco fluid constantly in my mouth that i have to spit out, sounds disgusting
pouches triggers much more saliva production than loose snus because of its dry feel. loose doesnt run or drip in any significant way, you just tuck it up there and forget about it, occationally chew on what little that does run down.
i can sleep with one in and nothing happends, if something happends its just a brown solid turd there on my pillow no different from a pouch.
both leave a nasty stain anyway and isnt recomended.

uuh I’m not really sure how chewing tobacco is processed but if you want some info on tobacco just go and ask guys on PrepHole. If you want to grow tobacco prepare for a big ass plant. You’ll need a lot of sun and some land so if you have a little garden you’ve won. Watch some videos on YouTube from some boomers and try it out. I’ve tried making cigars with my tobacco. I’m sure that you can go do it bro.
